Norma 9mm 108 grain mph is still a good self or home defense ammo. It can do huge damages no matter how light. There’s more proof of expansion than just fmj results. Still great. These light hollow point bullets are faster with its remarkable copper expansion. And PSA price is the best deal I’ve ever got for this ammo.👍

It was a fun video. I'm looking forward to the other rounds being tested in future videos. As for testing, most people have no idea how complex and uncertain any sort of testing is. What ultimately happens is that people end up settling on a compromise test. But that expansion was very impressive.
I love testing these rounds. You are right there is no perfect test but I think the more we test in different test mediums the better picture it paints us. I am not against Norma or any of these other rounds I test but the tried and true Hornady and Speer Gold Dot are hard to beat. They have been used in many police and self defense shootings in actual human targets and they always usually perform well. Hopefully we never need these rounds in a self defense situation to find out but knowledge is power. :-)

It is hard to say an exact number because the round may not go through the same amount of jugs each time. It will also depend on if the round expands or not. It should expand consistently if you are using water jugs only but when you add denim or meat targets in front of the jugs the results may vary. The amount of test you are planning will also need to be taken into consideration. I wasn't sure if you were going to shoot one round into denim and water or 30 rounds. If you are just using a couple layers of denim and stacked water jugs per shot I would say 4 jugs should do the trick but I think I would start with 5 just in case. That way if it don't go that far and harm the 5th jug you can just carry it over to the next test. Thanks for watching :-)

I am gonna be honest. I have found these rounds to be inconsistent. I can shoot one round and it will expand. I can shoot the next one and it will not. I think they have a great idea just need to work out some the kinks. Thanks for watching :-)

The norma doesnt like my S&W 9mm ez magazines for some reason! the spring doesn't push them to the top after each ejection. Ive seen Norma expansion issues on other channels with denim also... but maybe it was a fluke... my best advice is to empty the clip for better chances on expansion. LOL
I didn't have any reliability issues with it but I never could get consistent expansion. I made a couple videos and with no rhyme or reason one round would expand tremendously and the next round would not expand at all. Thanks for watching and I wish you and yours the very best :-)

Good video. Those round worked well. Plus, I think you are on to something: Go to Rural King, pick up a pair of jeans for ~$10, put a few 9 mm's thru them and resell them as 2A designer jeans, or 9 mm jeans, for $25, maybe more. I think you might have a good new business! Take care.
