I can’t remember ever hearing her mom say she was on antidepressants. Bunny has a wonderful family and loving home. I don’t think your context of video is correct but I could be wrong.
As someone who's been following Bunny for years... it's seriously not that deep. Bunny is only learning the difference between a dog and a human. The music is so overly dramatic 😂
I have been following “What about Bunny “ for years. Bunny recognizes her image in the mirror! She is not depressed. She has digestive issues and that is why she is given medication.
Why is it hard for people to understand that some dogs have similar issues that we have? Bunny is smart and has even been able to tell her owner she had something stuck in her paw. Animals are much smarter than we give them credit for. We do the same thing with our own young. When they are babies they can't really communicate at all without crying. Bunny is intelligent and if she needs antidepressants, who cares. Dogs can get anxious and seem depressed as well. If this dog blows your mind on being self aware, y'all should check out Billi the cat with her "mad" button.
Op these videos are faked. In the thorn video you never see her take the thorn out of the paw, you see bunny press ouch, stranger, and paw and then there's a cut in the video and she's holding a thorn and says this is the stranger in bunny's paw. You also see it in the infamous mirror video where bunny presses why and dog, however she only presses one button to do so instead of two. It's all faked because the button company is sponsoring this and trying to sell more buttons.
She is happy. Where do you see sadness? She goes for walks, gets scritches. She plays with Otter, she goes to the beach and plays with other dogs. She has toys. That's more than many other dogs.
This cost started as a little experiment to see what Bunny understood. As she learned, so did her owner. Plus, her owner learned the best way to train dogs. There is a book about the very bright pup, and a university is researching this method of speaking with dogs. It's so amazingly awesome. You go, Bunny!
I personally believe in reincarnation,so this does not surprise me one bit. I had a cat named Fred who had a level of consciousness that had no other explanation. Why Not???
The owner should have given an answer for a three year old human not a functioning adult.....keep it simple....basic. She needs lots of positive reinforcement and lots of long hugs.

Bro the dog is probably the first dog to recognize it’s own reflection and is very confused. People are reading into this way too much. Can the owner just try and explain to the dog what an f ing mirror is. It’s trying to ask questions and the owner is too busy trying to explain to the dog it’s a dog and confusing it more
I swear people freaking out over a dog selecting and using words that were selected by a human. This is simply a training exercise for the dog to be using a small vocabulary of words over and over.
Yes they can be trained to imitate. That's not the case here. This dog answers intelligently. If it was just a trained imitation, the dog would just select the same buttons the human did or said. This dog communicates its wants and needs. It asks open ended questions. Animals that don't have buttons communicate in other ways, like my cat brings his toy to my husband when he wants to play fetch. He drops it and then grabs my husband's hand because wants him to throw it. So to say this is just a trained imitation makes this dog and my cat more intelligent than that comment
This just goes to show how important education is. Animals and humans have a lot of potential. Language is a very important and powerful part of mental development. It helps to form far more complex thoughts and to communicate with humans enables animals to acquire knowledge form humans they couldn’t gather otherwise and use the human input to think more unilaterally. The ability to meaningfully communicate with the dog in turn also motivates the human to engage with the dog, to teach them and communicate. We still have a superior intelligence to animals, but some especially intelligent animals like parrots with the right “education” I’m sure can reach the intelligence of a low IQ human adult, though they will never be nearly as proficient in speech. The established research now says parrots reach the intelligence of a 6 year old, but with the same education this dog gets and their long lifespan im sure a parrot has more potential than that.
Maybe bunny is self-aware. If you dont know bunny, bunny is a dog that very smart and the owner practice bunny to press button for respond. And the owner said "mum human bunny dog" and theres one video again bunny said "dog why dog?" Bunny repeat again "dog why dog?" The owner kinda creep out or struggles how to answer its question. Bunny is not on antidepressants but on anxiety medication, even before she started using buttons. She is a reactive dog and buttons are part of her therapy, so her owner could understand better Bunny's fears and anxieties. Of course she is self aware, most mammals are, butttons are a communication tool, for humans to understand what animals think and feel, not the other way around. Bunny said multiple times that she is a dog, she understands that, but syntactically she doesn't understand how is everyone her family, friends, mom and and dad, but they are humans. She doesn't understand best the word human but she's getting better. Don't spread misinformation and fear for views, this is a great scientific progress, no need to spread fear.
I've always thought dogs think they look just like us so I can imagine how terrific it would be for them to see how they actually look that would cause so much confusion. I put my dogs up in the mirror they acted afraid I never did it again.
I think Bunny is somewhat self aware, I honestly do not know if it is more or less so than any other dog of her intelligence, she is certainly a lot deeper and smarter than I would have though possible.
Anti-depressants? Fluoxetine? For Real? Now I am depressed. (And, I was just falling in love with the Bunny face when she's using words). Dogs just need lots of exercise to release seratonin and they are happy. Bunny does ask for Walk & Play
Humans are just a thing that has achieved personhood, through our ability of socialization and communication, giving this ability to others almost starts a cascade of self awareness
bunny is on anti depressants but she has been most of her life, even before the buttons, the owner explained how the buttons were actually something they got for her because of her needing the anti depressants so she can talk to them. but anti depressants doesn’t always mean it’s for depression. my dog is on anti depression because he has genetic chronic anxiety.
actually I saw some animal expert video about it. In the video with a mirror Bunny step only on one button. There are too buttons, she would needed to step on to say "Who" "this". Also she doesn't looks on herself in the mirror, but something behind her (prop her owner). So no I don't think Bunny become self aware, at least no in the way people think
That's not what's happening. She has stomach problems. She has anxiety but that is fairly common, if often undiagnosed, due to the number of dogs who don't get enough physical or mental stimulation - Bunny is just more capable of expressing her issues. Not to mention that Anxiety medication in dogs may help, but may also do nothing or permanently damage you dog’s systems.
Guys don’t worry, the dog is in perfect health and is doing good! If you don’t believe me you can go to their RUclips channel and check. This happened a long time ago.
Wait.. I think I've peiced it together. Think about it. She said there's a stranger upstairs and when the mom checked there's Noone upstairs, The dog stared at her for a couple minutes, overly blinking. And She Thinks she is A Human. Whenever she looks into the mirror, She has a crisis. I think it's the mirror and buttons. Whenever the dog looks in the mirror, She has a crisis. And the mom goes over and says bunny. And that worsens it. I think the dog Is confused. The mom is saying Bunny, and the dog says "Why Dog". And knowing the dog Has no other dog in the house to play with. She thinks she's Also A Human and is confused as to why she is a dog instead of a human, but at the same time, How could she literally know where the buttons are? Dogs can't read Nor have muscle memory. She didn't teach her dogs how to understand words beside from buttons, which require the ability to read. She never taught her dog to read nor have muscle memory. Humans are the only things that have those abilities. Bunny doesn't even know what a dog is, nor what a human is, but she knows that she is like her mom, But she doesn't want to be a dog. And she goes over to the buttons and frequently wonders when she will die. And she says to her mom, "when no more bunny?". She is suicidal, she somehow knows personification. And she's having a crisis thinking she is a dog. It may sound like I'm lying, but she's Acting Like a literal human. Like she is a human, trapped inside of a dog body. I may sound overdramatic, but atleast think about this. It's also weird that she blinked at her mom and stared at her for like 3 minutes straight, Like she's thinking about Why she doesn't look like her mom. And she's suicidal. It's like she wants to kill herself then come back to her moms house as a human.
I mean, scientifically and logically theres sense to animals being awhere - every biological organism, is sentient on one level or another - weather it be just the chemical directions the amebas and small organisms have, to dogs, parrots, and cats being really smart, and learning things - its true for everyone. We are really the only ones we know of that are AS conscious of our reality, and understand things the way we do - besides a few parrots and animals in recorded history. Apes are a great example of 'almost' there, where some have been taught, or already seem to understand sign language, and have their own pets sometimes too - and yes - the act of training your pet creates those neuron connections that we do too - so training your pet, and getting them to understand hundreds of prompts, and commands, and actually retain and remember those things, really does grow their minds as much as learning new things changes ours too - and because pets can and have been taught these things, and their immiediate needs are met - like they were with us when the first homo-sapien became self-aware - those interests, hobbies, and ideas became the focal, rather than simply thinking about hunting, survival, reproduce. (not to mention the actual science behind 'grey matter' in the brain being areas where you can learn new thing with, keep certain skills ready to go, etc),
I hope this helps, when I was young, I remembered myself as a spirit being before I came to earth, I was a beautiful spiritual being, Then one day, My mom introduced me to a mirror, I said the same thing, Who is that, in the mirror, is that me? It didn"t look like me, or who I thought I was, or how I invisioned myself. Since bunny identifies with concepts using human language, and understanding, it's natural for her brain to be a bit confused, it will pass.

Has anyone asked Otter?
Yep ive seen parts of it i do follow them. I didnt know sbout the antidepressansts i do hope she is ok whatver the case i hope she feels better sgain
Bunny was never on antidepressants.
This is just some guy using bunny for content because he's lazy.
That mirror shot is soo creepy
We should really start adopting family of dogs instead of just one dog and also teach them to communicate like Bunny
“Y’all probably know this dog” then goes on to tell us about the reason why we probably know this dog
"Whos dis?" Bunny tried to ask a question to her owner like the owner...(or wanted to play with a new method) dogs are very underrated...
That dog is too smart
First robots, now canines. 😮
"Uhh..i think my dog on sum white sugary stuff rn ma'am."
The background sound makes this short so creepy, the way it looks at the camera
Bunny : why bunny dog?
Bunny : I'm not a fu####g buny
Past life becoming aware
The dog doesn’t know if it’s a dog or bunny 😂
I've always thought dogs think they look just like us so I can imagine how terrific it would be for them to see how they actually look that would cause so much confusion. I put my dogs up in the mirror they acted afraid I never did it again.
But dogs act entirely dofferent around dogs. pretty sure they can tell the difference between a cat, dog, and a human.
@@小笼包-m3o yeah that's true I didn't think of that lol
i saw this episode and thought it was spooky. poor pup.
Episode of Rick and Morty already showed how this ends
Speechless but it kind of makes sense
I think Bunny is somewhat self aware, I honestly do not know if it is more or less so than any other dog of her intelligence, she is certainly a lot deeper and smarter than I would have though possible.
Anti-depressants? Fluoxetine? For Real? Now I am depressed. (And, I was just falling in love with the Bunny face when she's using words). Dogs just need lots of exercise to release seratonin and they are happy. Bunny does ask for Walk & Play
Her mom alone in the house and she suddenly presses 🐾 'Who behind Mom?' 😨
Humans are just a thing that has achieved personhood, through our ability of socialization and communication, giving this ability to others almost starts a cascade of self awareness
It could be she's just confused why the reflection is supposed to be her when it looks like another dog
bunny is on anti depressants but she has been most of her life, even before the buttons, the owner explained how the buttons were actually something they got for her because of her needing the anti depressants so she can talk to them. but anti depressants doesn’t always mean it’s for depression. my dog is on anti depression because he has genetic chronic anxiety.
I have to make sure my dog doesn’t run into the couch
my pugs were very self aware they literally spoke to me with their eyes. i wish i had those buttons back then..
No one
My brain having a mental breakdown during a math test
I love it!
actually I saw some animal expert video about it. In the video with a mirror Bunny step only on one button. There are too buttons, she would needed to step on to say "Who" "this". Also she doesn't looks on herself in the mirror, but something behind her (prop her owner). So no I don't think Bunny become self aware, at least no in the way people think
Internet be like SKINWALKER
a animal behavioral biologist made a video explaining why this is fake it’s honestly hard to believe after watching that
It’s more scary when the dog said there was stranger in the house
That's not what's happening. She has stomach problems. She has anxiety but that is fairly common, if often undiagnosed, due to the number of dogs who don't get enough physical or mental stimulation - Bunny is just more capable of expressing her issues. Not to mention that
Anxiety medication in dogs may help, but may also do nothing or permanently damage you dog’s systems.
Its like she is seeing something or is it someone or evil spirits in her 😮😮😮😮😅😅
I GOT A WHATABOUTBUNNY VIDEO AFTER THIS ONE💀
She might be a human soul in a dog you never know-
Five nights at freddy!!!
I swear this dog is the start of, the animal uprising before you know we’re gonna be at the bottom of the food chain
wth bunny got lore
There is a video where bunny tells the mom there is a stranger upstairs and the bunny is concerned
That dog needs a new owner
You must tell him that he's a dog a noble creation formed to guard, protect, and defend man. Tell him he's was chosen by you to be a part of your family. He is fed, groomed, entertained, and his health is looked after by doctor specialists--all for love of him. You might even tell him he has a patron, Saint Francis of Assisi and take him to a Roman Catholic Church on the day the animals are being blessed.
I literally just saw a video of this dog for the first time literally right before I scrolled down to this video wth.
I bet they just give treats to bunny for clicking those buttons in that order, I don’t think bunny realizes what she is saying
Bro, stop. Her owner is very nice. She just has a lot of emotions. She also is ok, and loved by her owner. I watch her videos. Stop leaking stuff about people that you don't or barely even know!
This is why dogs go to heaven:(
I feel like she could be a demon in disguise
But only a small keyboard can't contain so many words within itself for different conversations
antidepressants???!?!?!!! I thought it was joint pain meds...... homie was sad about his knees in the morning. 😵💫
Bunny needs a big hug
That's fking rough..
Bro I saw A video and she was twitching so much
The dog will say "Why Dog" and stare at the and mirror for hours..
Bunny is gaining consciousness because he/she is learning how to talk.
