DC rivals is AWESOME! The forward is good but nothing comes close to the backwards. Even the lift hill gave me chills! It's a shame that Movie World is trying to "Nickle and Dime" us by charging (Auscoasters said $10 AUD but it has risen) $30 pp just for one ride! In a future update they should make more of the seats (like 1/3 to half) facing backwards because it is such an awesome experience and it is what the coaster really excels at.
Agreed. Apparently the trims are only there just in case it goes faster than it should be. I’ve been on a light-trimmed ride and it was hauling so I see your point.
I’ve ridden many of the worlds greatest steel coasters and this one is the best for me. The airtime is absolutely insane. I also grey out in that helix! So much fun! Super intense ride.
My first ride ever was backwards and it was pretty fun. Not very intense IMO but rather enjoyable. The Stengel dive was fun especially in the back. The airtime was insane on every element and we had 0 trim or none at all as I could barely feel it. The scariest part was probably going up the lift hill as you feel like your going to fall out
The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start
The twisted air time hill before the helix is probably my favourite element. I'm super tiny so even with the restraints all the way down they still don't touch my legs so that may change my opinion but on that twisted hill I always get really aggressive ejector and the decent laterals feel so intense since I'm out of my seat the whole time. The drop and dive loop turn around fucken whatever you call it are both very close second favourites.
Icon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach I my favourite Mack coaster, at my home park. I think it's awesome but it's not crazy intense. I've also done Blue Fire. You guys are fairly lucky that you're getting a near Blue Fire clone, but in all honesty it is kinda forceless.
Is it scary I’m going to the park next week with a friend and she has been on it three times and one backwards she said it was not scary but fun but she is a daredevil big time. Amazing video keep up the good work
Top 3 bucket list steel coaster for me
Cooper Zimmerman it is an awesome coaster

for it to be more intense they need to take of the trim breaks. but they said it would be to intense then so i dont know.

Just go when it rains the trims barely work and it’s INTENSE
Great video as always, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
DC rivals looks like one of the best roller coasters on the planet
I agree, but looks can be deceiving
Coaster Watch I see your profile pic
I’m going to FL in a few months
What should I expect from Mako because I’ve never ridden a B&M hyper
@@colemouledous4817 well it has great sustained floater airtime, don't expect it to be very strong but it's very graceful and smooth
The airtime is crazy on this ride, i got lifted out of my seat on the non inverted loop. It is my favorioute ride so far.
This ride was absolutely INSANE I LOVED IT SM
Such an awsome, world class ride!
I personally find it very intense. I grey out almost every time over the bunny hills and/or helix. But great review :D
FlareGFX thanks! I’ve never came close to greying out forwards nor backwards. Maybe it’s just me tho
@@AusCoasters Me too, can relate. I just find it fun, not too intense. Just fun.

Great review. I personally like the stengel dive its kind of like steel vengeance outer bank.
yeet meat nah, personally the Stengel was nothing for me. Especially when the trims are working it’s nothing. Imo
@@AusCoasters Yeah the trims are dumb. but i enjoyed it.
I rode this last week and the backwards ride is nuts with the amount of airtime. I felt like I was flying off the seat longer than I was on it!
Is that a new intro I like it
Carolina Coaster fan Thank you 🙏
If they got rid of the trims it would haul ass which would be good
I understand a couple people like with any ride think this coaster is overrated which is fair but I personally don’t think so.

is there any airtime in the hill going through the loop?
You mean 115 right?

No just intense and exhilarating
@@yeetmeat1799 yeah i just went on it and it was amazing
@@georgiarose3381 Yep
Gday I have 477 rides up in 21 weeks going 500
For speed
Not intense? Boi that turn after the helix is more aggressive than a damm cheetah running after a friggen elephant or some sh&t
this is an old review lol
@@AusCoasters true
