On the topic of the exhaust manifold/gasket/muffler installation, I have a question : when installing, a) does the gasket stay put and the manifold slides into the gasket -OR - b) does the manifold PUSH the gasket further down INTO the muffler? I ask as I believe in my case (any of the previous) owner(s) must have installed the muffler without any gasket, and just wailed on the clamp, thereby crushing the muffler and exhaust manifold; this results in me being able to (barely) insert the gasket into the muffler, but can in no way slip the gasket and muffler over the manifold. I was just able to extract the (now slightly mangled!) gasket, and after widening the muffler ''throat'' was able to not only fit the gasket in, but was now able to slip everything into place. Not saying you are wrong, but rather, IF all parts are relatively unmolested and closely (enough) resemble stock, then indeed no widening is likely required. But if they ain`t, as was my case....well, let`s just say I am no longer assuming anything is as it should be on either of the Helixes I bought. I think you got really, really lucky with your purchase. Congrats! Oh, and I too found a mouse nest under the inspection cover..but no poop. Cheers!
If you removed the exhaust for whatever reason, you would notice the gasket would need to be replaced. I'm trying to think of how dumb someone would be over tightening it without a gasket installed??? I guess that could happen. I've seen lots of dumb things in my day. The gasket moves in deeper as you push the exhaust on. At least that's what mine did.
glad those Heidenau tires are still available...I was under the impression they were discontinued? Same rubber I have on mine. Enjoying the video series!
Hey Steve! The tires I bought like a year ago...lol...I do think they are discontinued now. When I looked them up, I can't seem to find them anywhere. I guess I got one of the last sets.

Hi there! No, I'm not. I would if I had more time. Thanks for watching! Welcome to my channel!!!
Hey buddy can you remove the headlight bulb through the dash without removing the assembly ?
yes, I did on mine. It's a tight squeeze, but possible.
Yes, you can do it that way. I removed the headlight to get a better view, and it was easier since I had it apart already.
Don’t be shy, tell us where you got these parts 😊
@rtan050 If you watch the video series, I say where you can get each part I use.
