Hey! Thanks for the video! I’ve never had to do this before (first time homeowners here) and I find myself in need of removing the propane tank from my grill to do some repairs to a wheel that broke off my grill in a storm. Do these same steps apply or any added steps for a tank with a quarter left in it?

Thank you for this video! As simple as it may be, it's very helpful. I've really never paid attention on how to remove a tank safely. And I'm glad that there's people here on RUclips that upload a video on just about anything, and we can just search it up and have an answer. I need to get ready for the freeze coming in the southern states, in case we have a power outage.

    • @DIYwithMichaelBorders

Thanks for watching, great question. That will depend on who you ask. If we ever disconnect tank from regulator before tank is empty, we always set tank inside garage until we return and hook it back up.
