Day 824: On the second day in Rwanda, Martin and I are heading for the Congo-Nile Trail. A hiking trail that runs along the eastern shores of Lake Kivu - one of Africa’s great lakes.
We were not sure what we were getting ourselves into, but we knew that the first 79 km’s were doable on a motorcycle. It had been raining all morning - and the weather forecast didn’t look too good, but we had ea7ch other, should we get into trouble, so we threw ourselves into one of the most remote, beautiful and tough rides on my entire journey!

Beautiful place but what a challenge. Having short legs too, I would have been on edge on 100% of the bridges. It always brings a smile to my face, watching your interaction with all the kids. Great video Henriette!

Very interesting ride and no cars and trucks is always a good thing , I think when the guys were leading ye into the old buildings in the village, it looked very suspect but as most often.... Lovely people. I think the teen guy in red was hoping for a little money. Great post and bike skills👍.... Harry

@@ForTheLoveOfWheels my thoughts too. Yes if you had a couple dollers in your top pocket for just such an occasion, it would be fine. But I 100%agree about not taking the wallet out 👍

No, but I rendered the video in a highest quality. The file becomes way bigger and take more data and time to upload. But might be worth it.
