I mean you could've use rank 7 to grind for rank 8, the F-5E is in a great BR range where it gets constantly downtier to 10.0 or 10.3.

1. DONT use the tws mode to cycle between zargets and then lock one and shot a sparrow. better use search pd hdn and acm pd hdn!
2. if you start losing a lock then press your switch radar mode button and the lock will instantly turn into a normal track lock and will not be notchable. you can also do this from normal lock to pd lock with the same button
So change radar mode when locking a target effectively hard locking them

3.NEVER fly above 1000m, you're just radar missile food.

when you flare cut your throttle as low as possible, lowers your heat sig. if its a radar look up something called notching, idk what it is cuz im still only getting into tier IV but its what really good people say to do
Essentially it’s manipulating how Pulse Doppler radars work in order to basically be invisible to the radar which makes dodging the missile a breeze.
How it works is down below but for now I’ll give ya in game instructions:
First off you can force a Pulse Doppler guided SARH missile to hit the ground nearby instead of yourself by flying as low as possible. In the you are not down low proceed to next step.
If you notice an enemy locking you with radar (most likely Pulse Doppler at top tier) you want to pull as far to either side of you at a 90 degree angle to the radar lock. I’ve heard you can go slightly more than 90 degrees to fully null out the radar lock but I wouldn’t recommend more than 120 degrees
This alone reduces radar efficiency to almost nothing, though the missiles can sorta “guess” where you are/ where you are heading based on where it last broke lock. Which is where throwing chaff while 90 degrees and diving slightly is enough to guarantee survival.
As for why this works: as the name suggests, the Pulse Doppler radar uses the Doppler effect to essentially see speed difference in a range. If the target returns a stronger Doppler wave (ie they’re heading straight for you) it is a guaranteed lock. By notching, you place the vehicle in a position where it will return the same Doppler wave as it’s surroundings, making you essentially invisible. Pulse Doppler is used in low altitude engagements and head on locking as that is its strongest suit. It is defeated when trying to lock rear aspect/side aspect targets as they are “invisible”. Which is why you’ll see a lot of people in the F-14 in particular switch between PD and regular SRC radar. To maximise the both of best worlds.

If you have a radar missle heading toward you, crank it. Essentially go to the gimbal limits of your radar in order to bleed as much energy as possible, then defend like normal

if u see that enemy missile go in front of you a get ping from RWR go to notch and then use chaff or start flyo to ground on other way u dont have a chance to dodge radar missle
No offense but, heavy skill issue. Rarely looking around you, no proper notching, flaring or chaffing, and you could've just used the F-5E with a talisman on it that way you maximize RP gains
hey tip i love to do: evade the missile by shooting it down with an aim 9L
if its a 7m or 7f your most likely not going to dodge it so fly straight at it shoot a 9L and the 9L will 9.9 times out of 10 hit the missile and you will be alright
Wait that's a thing that can happen? I mean I assume it has something to do with radar missiles sometimes being slow enough to actually even shoot them with guns but didn't know missiles can target each other

As an American main that’s stock grinding the F14A early, I can say and prove that the F14B looks 10x stronger and better than the F14A.

For me it was an easy time unlocking the F-14b, all I had to do was to play with my F14a, Which has a talisman. I unlocked it within 5 days playing 2-3 h a day
It took me 5 and a half hours to get the f14B with the a6e tram.
Imagine if Cod released a new gun and it took 15+ hours of gameplay to unlock. This game is fucking garbage

Well at least I am not the only one who has experienced countermeasures doing absolutely nothing to stop you from getting hit by a missle lol
They are radar lock missles flares do barely anything at all most you can do is out G pull the missile (cant out G pull a 40G missile)

F14 locks me with aim 7.
I start pulling to notch he fires
I notch he losses radar lock.
Missile still slaps me after been notched for a good 7 seconds

How does the radar stay locked constantly, and work so good? My radar will shut off after a few seconds, and just completely refuse to lock.
