Dude, Jay Ferruggia mentioned these and I was watching a prior video and yours came next. Awesome to see you here. Question: Does greater range of motion =greater strength and/or muscle building long tern?
loum111 hahah me next to Lou! How funny. Correct, you only become stronger in the range you actually train through. Also increasing range on a movement itself is a progression of you are currently not. One shouldn’t sacrifice range in per suit of heavier weights. 😊
Very detailed review. Thanks for sharing. After watching this other guy's review and now this one I think I might as well purchase this. À90 guys should put your review on their website.
Except when it comes to weighted Pullups or other heavy pulling movements. The Angles 90 dont rotate and make it much easier to hold on to heavy weights with a straight wrist.
The downside is you can't use straps with them. As load gets heavier the more you rely on grip strength. I'd much rather use d handles that have straps with my versa grips. Grip shouldn't be your limiting factor when training back.
@@albertbresca5801 if you check out their Instagram, they have a lot of people using them. For the general public, I think ignorance plays a big role, the benefits of rotational handles really aren't promoted very much... until you start to accumulate injuries.
Quand tu compares les prises avec ou sans il faut préciser que si tu les utilises (les poignées) tu sollicites aussi + les biceps (sur le tirage vertical) car tu as une prise supination et non pronation 5'15
Mark Webster definitly would. They’d allow for rotation of the wrist which is much better for your shoulders. Specially if you already have an impingement.
@@keithdempsey2219 it might be cause the item you are after already has a discount applied? I just tried with one that had one and it said the same thing.
not a review per se - not independent it seems as you talk about giving one as a prize... if you had a not so positive review there woudlnt be one given out I guess - more of an advert... I haven't tried one but read discussions and watched youtubes.. these seem excellent for actual rehabilitation but not so much for heavier weights .. not much surface area for heavier weights it seems... are they slippery when you perspire or they get wet?
It’s my own subjective opinion. I explain how they may not be suitable for deadlifts specially at heavier weights. If you perspire through your hands a lot then they may not be a good choice, but i have never had and slipping issues. But even at higher reps 5+ they are perfectly fine
One of the worst fitness tool ever. I am a high level cali athlete, but i cant do any pull up with these beacuse those straps are literally cutting off the skin between my fingers, and the grip is unstable and unconfortable as hell. (No, my grip strenght is decent) so... Maybe its useable for some lighter weight and other gym stuff but overall i really dont recommened to anyone to buy. :(
Lol how about you just use the normal gym handles that are "free" to use in any gym hahaha. Another product that is totally not needed as it has its equivalent in the gym already.
I literally just ordered a pair about 30 minutes ago. After seeing your review, I'm pretty stoked to get them. Thanks.
You're welcome, they are great, I still use mine every training sessions
Do you like them?

Excellent video! Thank you! Just bought a pair!
Good review video Shannon!!!!
Thanks Vinh
Great review. Thank you!

Rolan Coltherst haha make sure you tell them 😊🙌
I wish you showed how to put these on the bar especially the t bar row
Definitely buying these! Hopefully they'll be good for chinups. .
yes
You can do all this excercises with the standard handles, you can find on every cable machine. This handles cost 5€...
Yup, it is possible. But these allow for much more versatility, not to mention now you no longer have to share grimey handles with anyone else.
@@shannonbillowsfitness yes, and your video does a tremendous job at showing that.

Nice video but you arms should be straight to the side when doing shrugs, only using your traps to perform the lift.
hmmmm noo....
I have shoulder pain doing deadlifts will thes take the focus off my problem joint and be more pain free

so have you used these again since this one video where they look so nice and new?
ALbert BREsca I use them every session. This video was about 3 months after purchasing
@@shannonbillowsfitness why aren't there more videos of people using these things? I had never heard of these prior to the adverts....

Should your discountcode still work? It doesnt seem to work for me.
Yes, but only on retail price. If it’s already discounted it won’t apply. Try the link in the description for a direct link to the discount
@@shannonbillowsfitness I am using your Code on the not discounted basic handles for 50 Euro. But it says that it is invalid.
would these make a difference to upright rows?

Shannon Billows Fitness I find when doing upright rows with an ez bar that at the top of the lift my grip is loosened
Does this cause calluses?
Good question.
Discount code not working, is it expired?
Hey Keith, I just checked their website and it still works. Make sure you use it without the “ “ just use A90BILLOWS10

And for rotational handle pullups? Not to mention now with the whole covid situation. The less you share handles the better
Better ergonomics and you can take them home with you. These things are awesome when you're on the road and a gym isn't available.
Wrong.
Great review. Thanks.
