I watched a week ago and created my Todoist account. I even saved a link to this video in the comment section of my task. Your video made it much easier to get started, thanks!
I am back after exactly one week. I remembered it because I had set it as a task in Todoist :-). For one week I am using it extensively and I am able to manage my tasks productively !! Appreciate your efforts and thanks for the video !!!
Thank you for this tutorial. It was so helpful because you are one of the few out there to use the free version of ToDoist. I talked to my sister on the phone about her birthday gift as I was deciding between two similar items. She picked one. Then a month later (this morning) she sends me a text asking when I thought it might arrive. So, yes, I need a system. I forgot to order it! Thank you.

It's been a week since I watched this video. I've tried to use Todoist about a year ago but I only used it for 2 days and stopped. Your video and explanation helped me learn and I use this every day now. Thank you for your great explanation, I've also started the audiobook "How to stop worrying and start living", it has some great insights. Thank you for adding value to my life, great job!

Thank you, really enjoyed this and you summarise the GTD and Dale Carneige perfectly, now I don't need to read the material :). Before watching I started organising my Todoist as it became a dumping ground. Now I have a whole section called Health Balancing The Ledger in a board format with sub sections for 1) Spare Time 2) Physical Health 3) Intellectual Health 4) Intellectual Research 5) Skill: Technology 6) Skill: Career 7) Travel: Near 8) Travel: Far. I think it will be useful to look at as it appears almost like post it notes in columns on a white board. This and other sections that have long term ambitions I plan to review every so often and schedule into the calendar. I hope it helps. Also still looking forward to that beer ;)
hey Chris - that was just the tip of the iceberg from the book, there are a lot more useful tips in it :) Good that you found a use for the Todoist boards, I like boards as well but have them in Notion, not Todoist. cheers 🍻

Really great video! 25 minutes just flew by! I saw in the caption "shirt woman" and because the caption was a bit ahead of the video, I was waiting to see what you would say that sounded like "shirt woman." It was "short moment." 8-)
Hi Andrej, my friend shared your video, I've watched and found it very interesting, thank you. I have always said why should I force myself to remember things when I could perhaps write them down and refer accordingly etc. etc. Question: Do the 'Today' incomplete tasks automatically move to the next day, and so on? Forgive me if I missed something in your video. Thank you.
Hey Angela, thanks for the comment and question. Yeah, our memory is not very reliable 😀 The incomplete tasks for Today don't get rescheduled automatically for "tomorrow's Today". They'll remain overdue and on top of your queue. Which could be useful if you really have to do them asap.
Hey! thanks for this wonderful video. After this video, I feel a heavy stone is off my chest. I just have one question when we have a high-priority task but scheduled for later in the day how to visualize it in the inbox?
If it's a high-priority task, it should come on the top. If there are other tasks that need to be done earlier, maybe give them the same priority and then manually sort them within the same priority? (Not sure if this makes sense). Or just keep it as P1 and whenever you open your backlog for today, it will be there on the top... and then you just start it when you can... (later)? ~Andrej
Quick question ... can I keep a record of the done tasks? Then if I forget that I have done something, I can go to my done list and find it. Great video.
I was going to say that "it's part of the paid plan", but no - I can list all my completed tasks now. It even shows a nice Activity feed in my Chrome extension (which I use mostly for Todoist).
Does the app allow you to schedule occurrences? Like I want to workout 3x this week only, can I schedule it to appear until it’s been completed 3 times? Thanks for the video!
I'm not familiar with that. Maybe check todoist.com/help/articles/set-a-recurring-due-date. The way I have it, is I have a task that's set to happen "ev Mon, wed, fri"... So essentially 3 times a week, but I specify the days. ~Andrej

If i done my task. And ignore: when i get distracted by something. And then finally that apps can give me report calculations about my habits. Please? Or maybe i miss something?
I was used Microsoft To Do to create my occurring schedule, but when i cant do it on specific time in a day, the reminder will floating even after the next 3 days. I can keep lying to myself pretend that i have done the task by do cross that bullet, but when i do not cross that bullet, the reminder will be floating forever. Can the apps offer me to pick 2 option: done/ignore and then disappear from the task list?
ooff... sorry, but I can't help :/ I go over my to-do list constantly, so I don't need reminders. For tasks that need to be done by a certain time, I just add them to a calendar (although Todoist has reminders too, haven't tried them since it used to be paid feature... or still is). And with calendar I can snooze it... or shut it off when a task is done. But most of my todos are not tied to a particular hour... just a day, so I don't need a reminder for that since I'm checking it all day.
