    As a fellow Todoist user + japanese speaker I must applaud your japanese anime task!
    Random fact is that Todoist is also available
    in Japanese :D
    I love that you speak fast! I have ADHD hehe.

      Ay, that's awesome! I turned Todoist into Japanese about a month or so ago and it's been so helpful learning the days of the week, i.e. 毎金曜日 or similar things. Currently on track to self-assess for the N5 on July 3rd, no exams offered in the US this summer 😔 Goal is to do N3 by December. Very rambly, but feels like it's been a while since I've updated this channel with my Japanese progress! And a +1 on the Japanese channels I can add to my list to watch.
      And thank you for the speaking comment, that's the first time someone has been IN FAVOR of the fast speaking so it means a lot. I think I speak that fast for similar reasons sometimes, but I gotta work on finding that balance...
      あなたのがみるはありがとうございました! (I think that's... sort of right?!)

      Yeah! Its awesome you speak fast :D And I am thankful you gave advice because I just realized that ClickUp is driving me insane so I need Todoist for my daily stuff and you gave me a lot of good hints. Im not a native speak but I took N1 10 years ago so let me know if you would need any help.
      I mean cant ppl slow you down with global speed or something?:)
      You rarely say anata even if u say you in English. I would say
      見てくれてありがとうございました!
      But nice! I understand what you wanted to say so 👏頑張ってください!

    Thanks for double#!! Wow, what a game changer!
    You mind if I ask if you still use todoist and why you use Trello in conjunction with todoist?

    • @markbacon78
      @markbacon78  10 месяцев назад +1

      Super glad you found something useful! The double characters are super nice for filters.
      I still have Todoist open every day- use it for work, hobby, etc. I made a more recent video about that too! I use Trello for a very macro-project view, because I don't think Todoist is great for tracking things in the same way a Kanban board software is (just compare the features on a Trello card vs. a Todoist task). I use trello very rarely these days though, might end up getting back into it for an upcoming project.
      Thanks for dropping by the vid! :D

    Very helpful tips. I would like if you could do a todoist search functionality video explaining about the search functions in todoist , the todoist search function is very useful and a powerful tool but i am not able to use its complete functions. Would appreciate if you could make a video on it

      I'll note that down! Sorry for such a late response. Not sure if I'll get back into videos too soon but I know their search functionalities have gotten a lot better even recently.

    excellent tute. Do you have a Todoist solution for sequential tasks?

    • @markbacon78
      @markbacon78  Год назад +1

      Super glad you liked it!
      What do you mean by sequential tasks? I'm curious

    • @thaddeuscorea
      @thaddeuscorea Год назад +1

      @@markbacon78 Example: project X has 20 sequential tasks, a specific order in which they must be done, but with no specific date. I only want to see the next task to be executed, perhaps in a filter view called Next Task? , and when I check it off, I want the next task to show up immediately. If I need to look at or edit the entire list of tasks, I can go to the project. I found a script? but it's quite old and unsupported, so not sure I should trust it. here is a youtube for ref ruclips.net/video/TFfd2_tCbI4/видео.html

    • @markbacon78
      @markbacon78  Год назад +1

      Interesting; this is quite a cool script. I doubt it would work since Todoist's API versioning has changed lately.
      The only thing I do at the moment is, for example with videos, I'll write out the big "next" tasks as subtasks and just keep the task at the top of the list. I suppose the only manual way of doing this would be once you check off a task, you add something like the @next_task label to the next one. And you can use filters to target subtasks... I'll have to give it more thought, but unfortunately I don't have a workflow for showing only the upcoming next task.
      Thanks for sharing!

    • @thaddeuscorea
      @thaddeuscorea Год назад

      @@markbacon78 Thanks for looking. For now I stick with sub-tasks. Maybe they will add sequencing in the future, or maybe an integration

    How to add a Image in task to share the things with team

    • @markbacon78
      @markbacon78  2 года назад

      I'm pretty sure you can drag and drop them onto comments! Should be that 'easy'. I think I might make a video about team-based aspects of Todoist. Thanks for stopping by the video!

  • @portlyoldman

    Just been through the Todoist features. Am I the only person who needs a Todo / Planner that can integrate across, Teams, Microsoft Planner (3 accounts), Trello, two Outlook accounts (and a couple of others) to give me a two way synchronised, one aggregated view of all of my tasks…
    I guess I am 🥺 I still haven’t found a solution.

    • @markbacon78
      @markbacon78  3 года назад

      Integrations are honestly a savior. I have a system for Todoist/Trello/Calendar split. Todoist is the day-to-day short term, Trello is long term project tracking, and the Calendar is pretty much purely visual. I find the split for each software works... unsure if that's helpful, but figured I'd drop it!

    • @portlyoldman
      @portlyoldman 3 года назад

      @@markbacon78 - I’m going to write my own integration. There are good API’s so it’s worth the effort I think.. I’m just not sure which todo list UI is the best. Perhaps I could build one for myself that suits my use-case…
