I just love how Alexander's raw and at the same time innocent boy kinda vibe shines so brightly. He never changes. Even now he is still that cheerful little boy who wants to entertain everybody in the room. At 70, that's incredible. 1 love from Belgium 🇧🇪✌️🍀. God bless you Mr. O'Neal.
Articulate, stylish, and immensely talented guy! He was on fire back in the mid-late 80s! I wish him well.
poor alex cant catch his breath. smoking was affecting him already.
in his defence he did do a 15 minute set right before the interview
@@brytoneurell8569 Yeah! And he sounded unbelievably great on crying overtime!
That album is still a flamethrower.
Really classy. He didn't bad mouth Prince. Had to be disappointing when Prince left him out.
He opened up later about what went down ha
Basically Prince sacked him, but Alexander was a real stand-up guy and didn’t throw prince under the bus. Incidentally, Alexander didn’t want to play second fiddle to Prince and was his own man! He was too strong of a personality for Prince to deal with, in his own words *“Prince thought I was too black”!* 😮
amazing amazing guy and producent ,,,, just brilliant
One of the last great soul singers.
Best R&B album of the 80s!
Alex 💜
A great singer and many of his songs are actually superb ones
What he is actually doing is trying to be nicer, she is the one who may have to pardon him....
I love this man so much😘
Você e i crível e a sua voz não tem igual !
I went to see him back in the eighties he was the best then the drugs killed him
This was 1987....he is still doing shows in london 2024!
You can be performing but DEAD!😢😢@@waynefoote3781
Doesanybody know what tracks were worked on by oneal and the kid
Aujourd'hui c'est une loque c'est à peine croyable et affreux 👎 inimaginable 🙄🧐
Grand theft auto 6 trailer brought me here
Alex wanted what Prince had and you have to crawl before. You walk and Prince wasn't having it. He wanted all this money so he can have cars home pools, and he haven't paid his dues yet, and prince was the boss
Nah, Alex was just a grown assed man who was older than all those cats and had been paying dues with bands all over Minneapolis. He had responsibilities and needed to get paid.
@Forensic Accountant ok if all that was true, how come prince was the only Established artist at that time, but I understand where ur coming from
With all due respect what I meant by my comment is that Prince was the only established artist who had records under his belt Alex hasn't had that. At the time that's what I meant.
Alexander oneal still the man
@@forensicaccountant259- From the recap I heard, he was demanding a lot more money than what he needed to take care of his responsibilities. And a pool isn't a something his responsibilities needed.
