It's nice to see some actual S rank footage to get an idea of how well you needed to play to obtain it. I was worried that S ranks would be a slouch but they look like it will actually require focus and a good understanding of your build and mission. Also nice to see gameplay from a player who seems to know exactly what they're doing and how to convey it effectively.
Eh, it requires more knowledge of your build than the mission. And really it needs specific knowledge of the fastest mech you can reasonably pilot. Reverse limb mechs reign supreme for S-tiering missions at least through the entirety of Chapter 1. Speed is king and you take 0% of the damage you can dodge. So if you can run any build similar to the bumblebee shown here then you'll be able to breeze through missions. My own Knight Questor build trades the SMGs this build uses for the Shotguns for even more close range power where a quick mech thrives.
@@GuidingOlive My biggest problem with S rank is that it pidgeon holes you into speedrunning. Thats all S rank is really, speedrunning the mission. Time seems to be the biggest factor, and enemies defeated barely seems to effect it. Basically, you need to speedrun the mission, so ignore everything but primary objectives, then you need to lower your ammunition costs as much as possible, so you need to take high damage weapons that will do a lot of damage but not use a lot of ammo. Basically chicken leg mechs with snipers/shotgun/cannons is the way to go it seems

So without even knowing anything about AC6, I would take a VERY strong guess he purely plays for style and if he wanted to just go fast or make it look easy then he easily could. I like how, after defeating your opponent, you walk away slowly with your back to it while reloading as it explodes in dramatic slow-mo behind you. Quite literally well played.
I feel like for a true Bumblebee build, you need a Pilebunker to slam into the enemy when they're staggered. Maybe that could be called the Wasp or Hornet

@@killwire4432 for defeating the boss? not really, for s ranking? probably, the first time you finish a mission, it's unranked, so, anything goes, a mission is ranked after you redo it on the mission menu, i just use a combination of melee and a rain missile (what i call for the kind that rains down from above) to defeat this one, trying to get close from above as he doesn't seem to have any melee protection other than the charge
Have to say i learned quite a bit about revuilding my AC. I had a similar build to what he described at the end for Juggernaut and it was tough. He was hard to stagger and got me a few times. The amount of stagger damage that's done by the machine guns tells me that i need to learn a lot about building for more nimble playstyles, which i had more fun with. Really excited to get deeper in the game and to unlock more build options.
The thing about the juggernaut is that any attack that hit the frontal plate wil do next to no damage and no stagger, you need your shot to connect with the unarmored part to stagger him easily. Vertical missile are recommended against him they have a chance of bypassing the armor plate even when you fire at its front. The rest is all about mobility and jumping around him, to get your shot to connect with the unarmored bit. And yes from my relatively small experience machine gun do really decent stagger damage, don't get fool by the small number the fire rate more than compensate for it. Personally a simple magnum is enough for me to stagger him and and create an opening for melee damage. But I have yet to S rank rank that mission, and I am still crafting for a build that will get me their.
