Vada I am so excited for you and Mr. Simple on your debt payoff🙌You guys have been so inspiring. I love how you were diligent and committed, yet allowed things that were important to you to have along this journey. I love the Etsy products I have purchased from your shop, and I look forward to seeing your new products you will be showing tomorrow. I love the new intro❤️
thank you thank you thank you- what a lovely comment 🥹
@@thesimplebudget ❤️
I love your clever quick wit Vada! Awesome to see the first emergency fund allocation - I am sure you'll build it quickly, which is exciting.
awww thank you 😊
new intro words! so excited for this new chapter vada
☺️ thank you!!!
Vada!!! Your intro changed! I love this brand new chapter of life you and your family are embarking on. Congrats. Also you and I both went down the "debt free job loss" luckily, you guys ARE debt free during this time. Take it as blessing!!! You can do it😊
it did!!!! i can’t believe it!!!!
and thank you ☺️
Loook at those Vada nails ! You will overcome all obstacles!!! ❤❤❤ Glenda
you know the blue made me nervous 😆😅
YAY FOR THE INTRO REFRESH! Living for this new era of TSB! I love the nail polish color as well, super fun and bold. 💙
thank you!!!! i know you know this is a departure for me 😆
So sorry about your job. Enjoy your summer with the kids. ❤
thank you!!! we’re making lemonade this summer 😉
Have never run so fast! Happy June!!!
awwww thanks so much 🖤
I could have a whole channel dedicated to the horrendous food “approved/bypassed” for our consumption. Our food is a joke compared to other countries I’ve lived in.
Anywhoos, have you looked into Azure Standard? We love their products and the companies that they vetted. We have been shopping there for almost a year this September, and I’m making most of our foods (not all yet) by scratch. Have seen such a difference in health, especially when making bread from scratch. I refuse to keep paying $8+ for an organic loaf of bread that still issues seed oil - no thanks! Congrats on being debt free!!! 🎉
A couple things.....
First, although I can appreciate the why behind it, you owe NO ONE an explanation for you grocery budget and/or his/hers spending funds.
Second, stop putting the negative connotation on yourself as "unemployed". It may be less than you're used to, but you work hard to give us your videos and products in your etsy shop. Give yourself some grace! ❤
Congratulations on becoming debt free! 💪🏻
Agreed ! Grace !!!!!
thank you very much for this encouragement- i appreciate it and agree-
i do try to go into a little more detail explaining the “why” behind categories from time to time, since a different audience watches my budget with me-
but i appreciate your words 🖤
🖤🖤🖤
hye hun im listening while i work. hope u have a wonderful day! omg i cant wait to be debt free again. im on the journey again
thank you so much, you too!
i know you can do it!!!
I heard carnivore and subscribed right away! I follow carnivore/keto as well. Just started budgeting and cash stuffing last month
no way!!!!! how do you feel???
Are you sure Mr. Simple doesn’t have a slush fund on the side? 😂 Congrats again!
lol i’m starting to wonder…🤣🤣🤣
Sorry to hear about the job loss, but on the bright side you have more time for your side hustle. Good luck, Blessings
thank you, lovely 🖤🖤🖤
Carnivore is fantastic! Good job across the board.
it really is! and thank you!!!
Veda I love your resilience. I am so sorry the job didn’t work out.
thank you, love 🥰
i appreciate your encouragement 🖤
What does your husband do for a living? Family of 9 here and we feel stuck at our income level and our budget is TIGHT. Great job with the debt payoff!
we don’t give specifics here for the sake of anonymity….but i can’t even imagine how hard it is to budget for a family of 9! everything is SO expensive right now!!!
Hi Vada, lovely manicure! Looking forward to seeing what you will have in your shop! ♥️
thank you 🖤🖤🖤
So proud y’all are debt free, congratulations! Looking forward to all the new products! Sorry about you getting laid off but glad y’all are able to still make everything work and put a good amount towards your fully funded emergency fund!
thank you kendra 🖤
My oops products arrived today!!
🖤🖤🖤
Congratulations!!! Your consistency has been really inspiring. On another note and I don’t know if this would be too personal, but would love to see some more information on how you actually do the carnivore diet? I think my husband could benefit and the info online is pretty confusing
oh boy, is it ever!!!! it’s not too personal at all- but i’d rather just email you so we can chat more thoroughly about it! shoot me an email and we’ll talk!!
No that doesn't sounds silly,, I only have peacock in the football season... I literally cancel it after the Superbowl ...that night! 😂🤷
Ooohhhh nice blue nails 💅 💙 Sorry you got let go of your job Vada.
thank you!!!!!
i appreciate that 🖤
Your food budget didn't sound that astronomical to me for the quality you're buying. 😊 But I'm like you and your family. I like to buy a whole foods, good quality so it comes with a price. Praise God for providing me a way to afford it.
lol thanks 😅
Well that was a bummer you getting let go before you were able to get your screen doors. But yay, no debt means way less income is needed to provide for “The Simple Family “
yeah- it’s less than ideal, but we’ll make it work!!! i’m glad i’m not the only one excited about these screen doors 😆
@@thesimplebudget I love fresh air almost better than air conditioning.
I vote you live off of you tube and Etsy !!!!glenda ( ahhhh so easy for me to say !!!)
lol maybe!!!
Verizon is pushing me also, I have been looking at other providers any recommendations would be most helpful. I live in Mississippi 😁
I will always recommend tmobile!!!
I have Mint and also live in Mississippi, Hernando. I’ve had Mint for 2 years and have had no problems.
aren’t they ridiculous??
@@thesimplebudget they are. Really!!
Are you planning on paying off your house?
absolutely!!! after we save for our emergency fund, we have to diversify where our money will go- and paying extra toward the house is part of that!
I lost my job and my hubby tho started with a new company so his income will be more stable we haven’t had any debt besides our house but now I’ve been having health issues so we now have medical debt 😞
oh i’m so so sorry- i hate when those things creep up out of nowhere. prayers and hugs for you 🖤
❤🏴
🖤🖤🖤
Verizon is getting beyond ridiculous with their prices. We want to switch too but worry about quality of other companies.
I have Mint and have no problems in 2 years.
i wouldn’t consider switching, despite my irritation with verizon, if i hadn’t talked to a neighbor who switched and was happy about it- but we have the advantage of having a t-mobile executive in the area- and that means t-mobile works well here 😆
$1900/mo for food isn’t unreasonable if you have it available to spend. It just seems like a lot to some people because they don’t have that much available themselves. My son and I spend about $800/mo. And it’s just us two. It’s all about your priorities. Congratulations on paying off your debt. You lost your job at the perfect time. Now you’ll have the freedom to pick a job you really want or you can try something new.
i think sometimes i get stuck in my 80s baby brain and think of what things used to cost, that when we do our budget, even im floored by the cost of food 😆
Sorry to about your job loss
thank you!
Hello
hi stacy!
Are you sure you ain’t got celiac disease?
i’m sure! i was diagnosed with JRA when i was 18 months old- it’s been my dominant issue since then!
Sorry to hear about the job, Vada…You can have my job if you’d like - I work for the government, too. The commute to Boston wouldn’t be so bad..😂 As for Verizon, I have one line - phone has been paid in full for 5 years and I pay $95/month..I’ve been with them for 25 years but am thinking of a switch as well. See you at the next video..!🩷
oh i love boston!!! just not driving there 😆
@@thesimplebudget we don’t like to drive here either..😂
