Do you ever think you'll continue to cash stuff indefinitely or try to move away from it eventually?

We've been moving a lot of our funds, 10K challenge (for EF) and One Year Ahead directly to our HYSA, it takes a lot of the fun out of it, but it makes more sense to have it make money instead of sitting in an envelope. I thought I was being smart taking out 100 one dollar bills because I have a new binder, however, had I condensed first it would have been helpful! I ended up with a massive stack of ones, certainly not what I'd planned. Love the video :)

Again, such an encouraging video Ms. Vada. We put $200 a month for car emergencies since we have 2 cars and drive a lot and since we are self insured with a high deductible we put $100 a month and put it into an HSA account. We have been trying to pay off $60K off debt also for the past year, it’s not going as fast as I want but we are making progress. Oh and our house needs new bathrooms, countertops and more 😩.

We have 2 chest freezers one large one we purchased last year for about $500 (floor display find) from Home Depot specifically for our bulk meat and one smaller one we use for freezer meals I like to prep for busy nights. We get a quarter cow bi annually and it’s about $900 and we love it. Saves us so much money in the long run because we eat a whole foods diet and buying quality meat is pricey!

For health and medical do you use a FSA or HSA? It’s pre-taxed and a great way to pay for medical expenses.

Do you have a generator? When we started filling our freezer with local bulk meat it was a major concern of mine to have a plan in place for power outages…it would have been devastating to loose all that investment to a power outage.

I would love to hear your take on soy candles etc. I feel they are less toxic than the paraffin candles. They also often have the good organic essential oils in them.
