This was a lot of fun to make, although I admit a bit longer than usual. I hope to grace you all with more videos like these, if you all so desire.

Imagine if the speaking bosses actually responded to the things you do. Like if you roll excessively they make fun of you a little. Or if you hit them with a really weak weapon they go all like "You cannot be serious..."

One line, over and over, once again, is not a valid boss taunt. Well it is, but I mean during combat. and with differing lines, with odd and unusual triggers. If you buff a weapon, for instance, with somethign they're not weak to, they'll make fun of you.

Don't understand why everyone is whining about this being cringey. He was imitating the classic villainous boss-character, and actually did so pretty well. This was a satire.
I agree I thought it was very well made and he hit that annoying yet memorable boss. If you did it from the enemy perspective (the ones coming in) and added a health bar of his at the bottom I would've thought he was a real optional boss.

And at what point is this humorous? It doesn't matter if it's supposed to be satire. If I imitate a racist and no one laughs, is it their fault for not understanding that I was being satirical, or is it because it was never funny/comedic to begin with? And it's even worse when this is Dark Souls of all games, it doesn't fit the tone. The guy keeps talking and talking when boss fights in Dark Souls are just stare downs and speechless fights. It's cringe because it's trying too hard. Would the Nameless King fight be memorable if he kept talking about how "epic" he was, taunting the character and making edgy jokes?

I seriously cannot believe/thank you all enough for your overwhelming support. You all cannot even begin to imagine how proud and happy I am to have made so many people laugh and smile. That was honestly the whole point of starting this channel.
On a side note however, before you comment, I encourage you all to watch the entire video. Most of the criticism seems to be coming from the 30 second intro, but people who have watched the entire thing seem to understand the humor I was going for. As the old saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. ;)
Seriously, thank you so much again for all this. You might not think it, but you're making my RUclips dream come true. When I get back from California, i'm gonna have a blast putting out more videos like this.

Joking aside I don't really mind this as a video or duel commentary, but I fail to see how this is "being a boss" especially because none of the bosses banter in this game... well Ocerios a little. Oh well.
Might have come across better if he were more representing of a particular boss or fought with a unique enough style/phases that made sense rather than it just be his build. Kinda edging on mediocre to cringey.

I've kinda always wanted to make one of those cheesy "over 9000" subscriber videos, but I really thought i'd have more time to create one way before that ever happened... I was trodding along, figuring out what to do next, I'd defeated the first Lord of Cinder, but the maiden in the church had said they weren't near her. Where should I go now? Then I felt it, the slight change in the air. My own and another ember's path had crossed. But where were they? "Hello?" I called out. Silence. "Hello!?" I called out louder. I heard my voice echo out, disturbing a hollow or two. But silence again.
Suddenly I noticed it. The following embers that signaled the heat of the flames. They were in a small room, sitting in prayer to the sword in there. I still hadn't gotten used to how the worlds were different, yet identical. "Hello?" I called out. A deep, handsome voice met me. "I sat for eons and... Eons. Sitting. Waiting for the chosen ash to try and take me to the throne. But no doubt, I won't go without a fight. So let's see what you've got".
A Lord? Here? But... "You're a Lord of Cinder?!" A nod was my only response before a massive double handed axe got pulled forth. In his left hand a casti looking weapon. He was going to fight. "Wait," I responded, "Eons? I didn't think the five Lord would have been sleeping that long. Are you really one of them?"

Thantos's greataxe plunge down on top of me I tried in vain to block the strike but it split my sword in two. the axe continued its downfall until embedded itself into my shoulder I felt the fire inmbued into the weapon slowly eat away at my body the last thing I remember was extreme pain as I fell back onto the cold hard Stone
