- Firefighters respond to the #BetabelFire at US-101 and Betabel Road near Gilroy, Calif. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Per a CAL FIRE official at the scene, the fire has been contained at 30 to 40 acres, and no structures were damaged.

@ 1:33 and 1:50 that's Copter-406 out of Hollister. New Firehawk (holds 1,000 gallons v. 300g the Huey's hold) wouldn't fit in the old hangar at Bear Valley station down by Pinnacles, so its new home is Hollister airport. Tankers are out of Hollister and Paso, and Copter 106 came down from Los Gatos too. Busy day.
The new Firehawk C106 is inbound to Los Gatos from Porterville right now. On the ground in a few minutes.

I was there on my way to carmel to deliver plants i got some footage. I am a truck driver, and paid on call in central cali. Badass work by cal fire.

Why not use tractor and disk , to disk up the dirt and stops the fire right there.
