VOB are 3 young ladies who met in middle school around 2014. Their music/theater teacher let them listen to his playlists on his laptop where they discovered RATM, SOAD, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys and many others. They fell in love and started learning their respective instruments. Starting out learning covers and playing shows in their small conservative village of Singajaya In West Java. They received a lot of criticism and death threats. At one point they considered giving up and asked their teacher/mentor what to do. He told them to ask God and this is how this song was born. It is true their parents were not in favor of this at first but are now fully supportive. They did a tour last summer in the US and I flew from Florida to NY just to see them. It was a fantastic show and I hope to see them again. They never fail to make a cover their own and their original songs are blends of multiple genres. These ladies are very exciting live. During VOB’s first tour abroad they were very careful to dress modestly. They were surprised at how well the music was received and now they have a loyal following.
The meaning of this song is really GOD allow me please to play music. Islam is the major religion in their country and like all religions it condemns rock music as diabolical. They also sing in their native language Sundanese and do covers, like Killing in the Name (3 tiny Muslim girls in traditional wear yelling FU I won't do what you tell me MF) and an acoustic By the Way (RHCP).
Many people ask what is behind or the problem in the body of the VOB group, so this is how VOB grew from middle school to high school, from delinquency they grew a hobby of playing music, not musical instruments, they hit the table as they were hit to make the sound become music. From all of that, their talent can be seen. by their teacher, they were taught to play music as they could until they VOB were invited to inter-school festivals in villages until finally their video was uploaded on RUclips until it went viral, but because of that, many groups of people were against it because they grew up from devout Muslims. and fanatical all the chatter fell on them until the song grew. God, let us play music. That's a little VOB story and the meaning of VOIS OF BACEPROT itself is a noisy sound or the chatter of a nosy mouth.

The most musicians start playing music in very early young age, but they start from zero by age of 14. Their progress in musical skills is significantly amazing. In 2015/16 they uploaded a original song on the internet and got response from many musicians and mass media outside the country like NYtimes, Reuter, BBC etc. They were not femous at that time in their own country at all and became femous after 1st Europe tour(in 4 countries) in 2021 e.g. the biggest their Live performance was at Transmusicales de Rennes 2021 in France. Enter sandman, killing in the name of and many original-songs. By the way, they will perform in Glastonburry Uk in June 2024.(3rd Europe tour)

VOB Formed when they were still in high school, This lyric is a criticism about their desire to do rock music, but their parents don't approve of it, They live in a village environment, where all the children their age focus on studying. Their parents allowed therapy when they started appearing on TV and doing concert tours in Asia
I'm so glad they're getting on the reactor channels, particularly now that they are heading out to the UK to play at Glastonbury. I really want them to get a great reception as this will be their first foray abroad since they started managing themselves, so a lot is at stake. To me they embody the spirit of early punk, mixed with the rap-metal of the 90s, and their own sound which encompasses traditional music forms and scales. The fact that they came from homes where they have no running water and have dirt floors, and come from a culture which isn't always hugely receptive to their message (they've had death threats) makes me respect their natural talents all the more. But their parents now do embrace their path in life, now that they're earning a living from it lol. The song itself is in response to those who tried to convince them that their music was ungodly and all that. The went to their community religious leader and said pretty much what they do in this song, and was told that of course they should pursue their dreams, which is really cool to hear. From here, they have a number of originals, mixed with some fantastic covers. They don't sit and make dozens of originals at once like a lot of other bands, but when they do create a new song it is a very special occasion, and always a banger, as the kids say.

Many people ask what is behind or the problem in the body of the VOB group, so this is how VOB grew from middle school to high school, from delinquency they grew a hobby of playing music, not musical instruments, they hit the table as they were hit to make the sound become music. From all of that, their talent can be seen. by their teacher, they were taught to play music as they could until they VOB were invited to inter-school festivals in villages until finally their video was uploaded on RUclips until it went viral, but because of that, many groups of people were against it because they grew up from devout Muslims. and fanatical all the chatter fell on them until the song grew. God, let us play music. That's a little VOB story and the meaning of VOIS OF BACEPROT itself is a noisy sound or the chatter of a nosy mouth.

The most musicians start playing music in very early young age, but they start from zero by age of 14.
Their progress in musical skills is significantly amazing. In 2015/16 they uploaded a original song on the internet and got response from many musicians and mass media outside the country like NYtimes, Reuter, BBC etc. They were not femous at that time in their own country at all and became femous after 1st Europe tour(in 4 countries) in 2021 e.g. the biggest their Live performance was at Transmusicales de Rennes 2021 in France. Enter sandman, killing in the name of and many original-songs.

I'm so glad they're getting on the reactor channels, particularly now that they are heading out to the UK to play at Glastonbury. I really want them to get a great reception as this will be their first foray abroad since they started managing themselves, so a lot is at stake. To me they embody the spirit of early punk, mixed with the rap-metal of the 90s, and their own sound which encompasses traditional music forms and scales.
The fact that they came from homes where they have no running water and have dirt floors, and come from a culture which isn't always hugely receptive to their message (they've had death threats) makes me respect their natural talents all the more. But their parents now do embrace their path in life, now that they're earning a living from it lol.
The song itself is in response to those who tried to convince them that their music was ungodly and all that. The went to their community religious leader and said pretty much what they do in this song, and was told that of course they should pursue their dreams, which is really cool to hear.
From here, they have a number of originals, mixed with some fantastic covers. They don't sit and make dozens of originals at once like a lot of other bands, but when they do create a new song it is a very special occasion, and always a banger, as the kids say.
