The intro is amazing. From a dude casually throwing huge crate full of weapons, to Kiryu smashing it with one kick, to crate itself, despite being full of WEAPONS just happened to have a CANE in it for Sawashiro to use. I can imagine Sawashiro ordering his underlings to put a cane in every crate, because to him, cane is the ultimate weapon.
Probably explains why he can swap his weapons out too on the go...he's just grabbing different ones off the floor each time.

I like that Sawashiro's a good guy now but I can't deny that its still satisfying to beat the crap out of him
I beated Sawashiro so quickly in my first play through that I had no idea he had other weapons or “stances” until my second play through. I nearly screamed in terror when he suddenly pulled the knives and almost team wiped my party with one attack
Really can't believe that 83key took a 12/10 Boss Theme and somehow made it even better than the original one.

Just when I thought Brutality couldn't get any better, they drop this 🔥🔥🔥
Remember that in the previous game, Sawashiro's dynamic intros establish himself as the superior fighter and fearsome foe against Ichiban.
The intro here makes Kiryu as if he's Sawashiro's equal, and mind you, Kiryu is already weakened.
Thanks for giving him the chance to do his ultimate attack

Really liked this fight. This version of Brutality has less of a desperate feel of the original one, but much more of an epic feel too for a fight that many of us were looking forward to.
Can’t believe you fight a giant, living knife in this game, man the Like a Dragon series is so weird now…

Zhou's Blinding Viper accuracy down always works (I think). He the only one with this debufff , snd and make most bosses fight alot easier.

This fight theme got similar vibes as unwavering belief it a fight between 2 washed up old men yet it feels like thr world at stake
you go into this fight knowing sawashiro isn't serious about fighting and just wants to talk but the game decides to play something you'd hear at the end of the world

Remember, Ichiban and the gang had a hard time fighting Sawashiro in Like a Dragon.
Kiryu wiped the floor with him. Also, Sawashiro's lucky Kiryu has cancer.
You defeated Sawashiro with the help of the Goeminjul. I personally preferred to do it by summoning the help of Namba's dolphin friends.

Does anyone else prefer Sawashiro as an antagonist? His whole design screams cool villain, having him as an ally sort of takes away from that

Kiryu fights a knife?! 😱. But all jokes aside this theme is a banger, but I prefer Sawashiro's fight in 7.
Nah. Him actually style changing instead of switching weapons between phases is the biggest glow-up to a boss I've ever seen.
@destoroyahofhope4005 His moveset is alot smoother than in 7. But my main issue is how much easier the fight is in 8. Especially when you use Kiryu's Dragon Resurgence you remove 40% of Sawashiro's health lol.
@mr.marvin Yakuza 7's fight was just as easy. Only tough fight was the Jima's (due to unfair difficulty spike) and Kiryu (unless you have ice attacks on everybody.) 7 and 8 have very little difficulty. At least on Normal. I haven't done Legend on 7 or 8 yet.
@@mr.marvinI haven’t played but I’ve heard a lot of that, and yeah dragons resurgence is pretty broken too as it’s just “Free beat ‘em up combos until timer is up”
