You got to try live version of Highway star. They opened every show with this song and its an awesome up tempo rock song, they wrote on their tour bus in a couple of hours.

Gillan sang on the original Jesus Christ superstar concept album released in 1970.. check out his performance of gethsemane..ted Neely did the movie in 1973..Ian was offered the role, but turned it down due to his commitment to Deep Purple this was just as the album in rock was released and they were going on tour.
