So, today is my start on researching options......good luck to all 🙂

    Same here. My doctor gave me my gel shot the same way he had given me my cortisone shot. I'm in more pain now than I've ever been. Called his office, and he said it was time for a knee replacement. So disappointing with both the shot and doctor.

      @@thomasjones9394 Thank you for the reply. Yes, it is easy to find roll-on CBD oil, but almost impossible to find the THC oil. I have seen some recipes online where you bake the marijuana in an oven, then convert it into a liquid. The smell may have the cops knocking on your door, however.

      To inject into blood the needle tip would have to be within a blood vessel which using the landmark guided technique is highly unlikely because 1. There are no major vessels in that area and 2. Before injecting you always draw back on the needle and if you see blood you do not proceed.
      Using an USS technique injection into a blood vessel would be almost impossible due to reasons above, but also as you can visualise blood vesss in real time.
      Re bone on bone arthritis you can use it but less likely to give a prolonged benefit if any. In such cases knee replacement surgery is the only real definitive treatment..

    can you please answer why you did not aspirate the knee fluid first?? I’m going for this procedure and see mostly negotiate reviews. why would you not aspirate knowing the risk of injection would more likely not be inserted properly??

    • @clariusmhealth
      @clariusmhealth  11 месяцев назад +3

      Hi Joes5402 - thanks for your comment. I believe the idea is that when ultrasound is used to guide the injection, the injector can watch where the needle is and watch the injection happen to confirm accurate placement. Ultrasound is amazing for this, and more and more specialists are turning to ultrasound (some are even regulated) to use ultrasound when performing interventions.

    7 out of 10 neurosurgeons miss the target and inject into fad pad. The 3 out of 10 that hit the target, understand the anatomy and physiology of the knee and have no use for an ultrasound device to guide them. This guy is a ND. Hmmmmmm
