Will they remain in the music scene?Not everyone survives. Being able to withstand time and still able to sell, only real legends do that. They've earned their supporters. That's what veterans are. maybe that YulSoo scene was to represent the relationship of snsd and sones? yuri is sone and sooyoung is snsd? look how yuri how stands in the audience when everyone else is there but even after the others leave, yuri still stays for sooyoung, showing that the true sones was there, and will always be there even after snsd falls. snsd was reaching their success from gee but after lionheart in 2015, they didnt make any comebacks for two whole years. in just two years so much shit happened. from older groups like wg, 2ne1, kara, t-ara, rainbow and 4m disbanding to newer groups like pristin, wjsn, twice, gfriend and bp debuting. in two years snsd too did lose a few fans, internationals have this multifandom thing but they ult other groups more now. but koreans just leave the older groups they stanned to find newer ones. but snsd is still one of the only ggs who've reached the 10 year mark and they dont have a sign of disbandment coming up. this comeback was not for views, chart toppings or fame, it was to show their love and thankfulness to sones all along

I know that SNSD released All Night and Holiday as a celebration for their 10th year Anniversary. And werent expecting much beyond that. However, All Night is so underrated. The MV was obviously going for the retro look, but watch their live stages of All Night. It really displays their "knife like" choreography that they got famous for. For 8 of them to sync those moves and transitions that well, was really difficult to pull off. Its impressive. Sooyoung picked All Night as her most underrated SNSD song.

@@jiaetime2485 Uhm. No, it was SNSD. When SES disbanded, an influx of boy groups during 2002 to 2008 occurred. It wasnt even 'til 2009 when SNSD literally made the korean public shift back to the girl group trend because of Gee. Do your research.
@@tianflores1947 well snsd n wonder girls both debuted in 2007 while wonder girls became famous with so hot n tell me snsd didn't in debut years during there black ocean performance some fans even shouted wonder girls while wonder girls already solidified there popularity with tell me they went to US which for me I think was the biggest mistake made by jyp while they were there snsd became a big group but I definitely think it wasn't only snsd but all the gg that debuted in 2007 to 2009 time because the groups debuting in that time really made history grps like t-ara kara snsd wonder girls 2ne1 etc

Being a kpop fan for 6 years, I can guarantee different kpop fandoms were no where near as competitive to the toxic fans today who wanna support their group by bringing down others. Back in the day ppl didn't "stream" youtube views constantly to beat other groups' views. Ofc there were fanwars, but it was definitely not as common as today. People just watched each group's videos and commented what their opinion on the song was, not any of this "once here to support soshi!!1!1" "im a blink but I love this song" crap. A lot of snsd fans have been around for a while now, and honestly a lot of people aren't immature enough to be "streaming" views to beat others. (If you are then go ahead it's not a bad thing). Eg i love snsd and i didn't watch any of their mvs until today LOL cos yanno wat we don't care. This is for those immature fans of rookie groups who keep bringing down snsd bc of "views" (don't even bring in the charts cos you're not offending anyone lol)

I feel like the fanwars are partly because of media coming to play a bigger part in kpop... new fandoms have a lot of power in getting their fave artists awards so it's a lot more competitive. Also, the only reason toxic fans get attention and appear to be so common is because people call attention to it and give them attention. Truth is, they're a minority of fandoms. Most of us new group stans are peaceful and support a lot of groups, old and new.
Tbh i think we care about views since intl fans cannot do as much as Korean fans and this is the only way (and pre-ordering their albums) we can help them to have a successful cb. That's why we care. We want to show them our support in music shows and RUclips is the main platform for intl fans.

Its nice to see fan comments like this...im not a SONE, but SNSD is so iconic and has some of the best kpop songs ever (this song is one of my fave tracks on 2017) they will be forever in our memory and 10 years of amazing music is no small feat. Also I don't think any group will truly replicate the success of SNSD, they helped make kpop a global phenomenon. Ask any kpop fan who the most iconic group is of all time and even I will say SNSD and I'm a blackjack.

Honestly, SM messed up posting the interview version first. If they'd posted this version instead they would've probably gotten more views because people would have played it on repeat. The interview version should have been posted second...

That and they shouldn't have done two lead singles, which splits the views. Between Holiday and the interview version of all night, we easily had more than 10M SNSD total new video views. I think this will also negatively effect chart performance (not even mentioning releasing new SNSD while new EXO is still on the charts).
It makes me wonder if they're more about just having an "SNSD are legends so it doesn't matter" comeback and not worrying about making any new records.
