Hii
Hi
Do you think I should get air pods for flying
If you want to Matthew😂
Hi
It will always be the C-Series in my heart
It will always be Airbus in my heart
Yes, that's because you C the Series-ness (See the seriousness) - PUN intended.
It is a little sad to see Airbus get all the kudos for something they just bought and had no hand in creating.
Cheers
As a Canadian (and former Bombardier employee), I'm disappointed to see they changed the name to A220, but massive thanks to Airbus for keeping our latest accomplishment up and running. Can't wait to see it all over!
We, the real avgeeks know the history. Fo other travelers, I think Airbus sounds comfortably familiar.
“You can fit so many people in the bathroom, but i don’t know why you would wanna do that” ... Yeah okayyyyy ;) lolol.
Gotta be in that mile high club you know what I mean
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
There's some huge people out there lol
😏😏😏
I love the a220 it has good legroom, big windows and is very quiet
I normally adjust well to name changes. But this is the one exception, I call it the C-series
The assembly plant workers at Mirabel are still proudly wearing their Bombardier CSeries labelled uniform while they train their Airbus colleagues from Mobile Alabama.
If it wasn't for Airbus, THIS PLANE WOULD NOT EXIST.
GET A LIFE AND RESPECT AIRBUS FOR WHAT THEY DID.
@@gavin9715
The plane was designed, built and brought into service by Bombardier.
Swiss actually took delivery of the aircraft as the CSeries.
It’s the best plane. Takes off in short runway and so fast (36 seconds). Just amazing how quickly it can take off.
and great legroom space !
Its timelaps
TEEJAY TV DUBAI dude I was talking about MY flight. I timed takeoff from the beginning of the roll until rotation. I’m not THAT dumb lol
Sorry
@@_teejaytvdubai_9 lol
So glad you liked this Canadian plane. We Canucks are proud that Boeing’s little plot failed, even though Bombardier had to sell it to Airbus. To Boeing I say “🖕!”
What did Boeing do?
Long live the C series’s
@@3920962 Tried to buy the CSeries program.
Too much corruption in Bombardier. Glad it was bought out.
Rashad Cunningham. Boeing and trump team up to said this is a goverment money plane, so trump wants to tax 300% if sale to usa airline, but they failed..,
I love your boarding pass decorated wall, Singapore (First, Business), Lufthansa (First, Business), Air India, Qatar Airways, and many more that I couldn't completely decipher! Nice work1
I would love to see an Air Canada business class review, or Air Canada Rouge, the budget version of Air Canada, or possibly West Jet new business class, or new premium economy!
I totally agree. Try to fly once Air Canada’s business class, ‘cause almost nobody talks about it, even though it has to be tested.
Anthony Garbelli, exactly! I’ve flown it a few times! I love it! It barley gets the recognition it deserves! It compares to Air France pods! Air canada rouge, is also surprisingly good!
Very Canadian focused
may be he can try West Jet's new Dreamliner ?
I flew on Swiss CS300 from Vienna last Friday. Very unique plane! Love the fancy seats with the coat hangers.
probably one of the best looking aircraft flying today
Thanks for a great review Dan! Safe travels
Awesome video!! Great job! I really want to try the A220, it looks like a great plane!
Nice to see an A220-300! Waiting for Delta to get their A220-300’s next year. I’ve flown on a Delta A220-100 and loved it!
I flew the Swiss CS-100 from Zurich to Stuttgart and the CS-300 from Zurich to Warsaw Chopin and they are a stunning short haul commuter, or simply a stunning plane forget the role they perform. They have the edge for me on the Embraer E series, they just feel roomier, have a quality finish and they are extremely quiet. For me they are also like a pocket rocket, great acceleration and outstanding climb angle. The windows stand out as well, massive! So I love the plane and would say 'yes' it is. The Swiss product on it, I flew in economy, was also very good and extremely friendly cabin crew.
I flew the Swiss A220 in biz from ZRH to CDG. Loved it. Plus they had a cheese mousse that was so good! Then I landed at De Gaulle. Zonk.
Another reason to HATE Boeing. Bombardier lost so much with this aircraft because of a very stupid trade complaint. Boeing are jerks and wasted time fighting Bombardier when they should have been focused on the Max Jet. It will ALWAYS be the C Series!!!!!!!!
The company likely would have gone under if not for Airbus buying half of the program.
Now Boeing is trying to do with the 737Max for International Airlines Group, what they accused Bombardier of doing with the C-Series at Delta. I wish Airbus would have given Boeing a taste of its own medicine, especially since the 737Max may never fly again in Europe.
Great video Dan! Keep it up!
Technically speaking 30 or so planes delivered before the Airbus acquisition were 100% constructed in Canada and only carry CS100/300 designations.
All the planes delivered to date have been assembled in Canada, even those flying with Delta. The Airbus assembly plant in the US is not yet finished and will only supply planes to the US market (Delta and Jet Blue etc.) All other markets will be served by planes assembled in Montreal. Also note, Bombardier and now the consortium that runs the A220 programme have a global supply chain so parts are actually manufactured all over the world. Final assembly and finishing is in Montreal.
I can’t wait for JetBlue to get there A220!! That’s gonna be amazing!
wow nice! i have been on the A220 on SWISS before and it was amazing!
Thanks for the video Dan! Entertaining, informative and witty as always!
Love the video Dan! Perfect mix of aviation and humour! Safe travels!
I as an fanatic aitplane spotter just love this plane. The first time I went to spot it was at Frankfurt airport, the only thing was the plane took of sooner then expected (I did some research and the a220 can take of in 30 to 40 seconds!!) And I only had a 75mm lens on so the photograph sucked but still the love the plane!!

I am so pumped Dan , not only that you finaly flew A220 , but that you said , maybe you should try one of airBaltic flights , i really hope you do try them beacuse i would love to see that
Hello Dan I just wanted to say how amazing your videos are.keep up the good work✈️
I flew on the A220 DTW-DFW and back as a joyriding experience this past April and loved it. It was very quiet and the large windows made a big difference, especially in making the lavatory feel more open. I thought it was hilarious when this four-year-old girl seated next to me shouted out loud "THE PLANE CAN SPEAK WHALE!" as the engines were spooling up. As such, I have nicknamed the plane Dory as in Dory from Finding Nemo.
I would love to see more of these flying around and to see Airbus stretch it to the A220-500 variant. Then Boeing would be very nervous with their ongoing 737 MAX fiasco.
Great video Dan!
I was really nice experience when I was taking A220 from TPE to PUS by Korean Air. As video said it is sooooo quilt and comfort.
Hey Dan! Fun video as always, I was just as impressed by the a220 as you. I tried AirBaltic, the seats are light grey and they have green cabin lights. The design felt so fresh. It just really felt modern, nearly futuristic. Definitely check them out.
Nice flight, great plane and good video!
I love the Airbus 220 of swiss 😁
( i m swiss 😉 )
I'm swiss to
#TEAMSWISS
I love Delta's A220
pardon me, I heard Swiss is part of Lufthansa group
Since I live in the US and don’t fly much long-haul there is no doubt I will fly the A220 sooner than later domestically, so thanks Dan for the great review! And yah, you are the last vlogger to cover it lol!!❤️👍✈️
Your new video just made my day!
More people need to talk about the amazing boarding pass wall!
With range of more than 6,000 km, that's no regional plane. It's a transcontinental mainline jet, also certified ETOPS for transatlantic flights. With bigger economy seats on the A220, hopefully you find it more comfortable than the A320 and Boeing 737, especially on 8+ hour flights. Very happy you love the A220. Thumbs up for your fantastic video!
I have recently tried this aircraft with airbaltic from Athens to Stockholm via Riga, wow what an experience it was , even though in economy you get a nice legroom space that really make such long flights much more easier.
Love your videos Dan: my favorite!! Also my favorite channel!
Hey Daniel... Thanks for the review of the A220. While I haven't had the privilege of flying on one - yet - I look forward to it; when Delta starts to fly it out of LAX. Currently I think DAL is flying the A220 in the eastern part of the US. The A220-300 looks a bit more sleek than the shorter -100 version.
Bulkhead seat looked a bit short on the leg room for your 6' 2" frame.
Thanks for the wing shots. Have always enjoyed your photoing of the wings in the past.
Cheers....
Tony
Awsome work dan.Subbed and also Nofications on.Keep up the good work!!!!!💜💜💜💝💝💝
Great review dan !
Great video mate! When will the update of the Qatar situation be uploaded? Can’t wait for it 😊
Friday next week hopefully! Thanks😎
i love the a220! please try air new zealand economy or economy skycoouch
Yo Dan consider coming to Corfu bro🇬🇷will be more than happy to show you around!Keep up with the vids
Great vid dan
Great video dan
Your reviews are the best!!!!
A220 it's amazing airplane and as Canadian I am, it's so sad seeing it today under Airbus brand. I had the chance to fly on it May and October 2017... business class both times at 1A.. my favorite seat of all. Windows are really big and the plane was smelling new...leather smell all over the airplane... All my flights were very smooth and absolutely amazing.
Don't be sad. Airbus obviously appreciate the quality enough to stick their name on it. You should be proud. Your country built an exceptional aircraft!
Great review Dan! I agree with you,the C series is the best out there.Your meal looked quite decent too I thought.
As a business class passenger Swiss offers a seperate bus getting you to the plane.
This is the best biz class in Europe by a country mile
Flew this from Zurich to Oslo and I really love this beautiful aircraft!
Hi Dan. I love your videos! I will be so pleased seeing a review of AirMoldova. I want to see your opinion about my country's airline.
Finally another person that disrespects the A220s name (by saying CS100/CS300)
Infinite Flight Channel 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm an Airbus fan but yeah I hate the name Airbus A220 and I always call it Bombardier CS100/300
@@SwissAvgeek same
@@NonstopDan pin me?
In case you're interested, Bombardier is 3 syllables, pronounced Bo~ Ba(r) Dyay, where ~ is like 'mmm' - i.e., a nasal hum, except with the lips open. The unfamiliar 'dy' of the third syllable are just as quick as the double consonants that _are_ familiar in English, like 'tr', 'st' 'bl', etc. Ignore the 'r' at the end, the 3rd syllable is like 'day' but with an added 'y'.
I flew on Delta Air Lines’ A220-100/CSeries 100 from Dallas to Minneapolis (I have a video of it) and I loved it!
Wish we could hear the spool up at take off but overall another great vid Dan!
Flew OSL-ZRH on one, its a fantastic plane! Kinda wanted Widerøe to get the A220 instead of the E190-E2.
I am regularly flying Swiss and always loved their Avro RJ100 because of it's spacious cabin and its unique design. So I was a bit sad to see the "Jumbolino" go. But I have to say, the CS/A220 is a worthy successor. I had two comfortable rides on it yet and really like the very light and inviting cabin with the big windows. I wouldn't mind flying it even on longer routes.
PS: Keep up the good work Dan, I really appreciate your videos! Regards from EDDF :)
Come down to Perth Western Australia, still so many Avro RJ and Bae146 flying around.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Dan you are absolutely bloody adorable!! Your face really wasn't portraying the positivity you were speaking which was funny in itself but even more so with your captions. I love how you can laugh at yourself like that - similarly with the somewhat awkwardness over the thumbnail captures 😂😍 Such a genuine and decent human, we are lucky to have you flying us around the world. Thank you!
Thank you so much Kaz😍😍
Non stop dan I love your vids I binge watched your vids I think I watched them all love you
Please try airBlatic's A220-300! And airBaltic flies q400 from Gothenburg to Riga quite often but not daily.
Yes, and both planes are no longer with bombardier. C series renamed A220 by Airbus and Q400 back to its original name of Dash 8 by Dehaviland. The Dash 8 crushes the A220 in take off time. 20 seconds for Dash 8 vs 36 seconds for A220
We flew the A220 this past May from Budapest to Munich on Air Baltic and I was very impressed! The baggage compartment is huge as you mentioned and it seemed like a much bigger plane than it actually was. I've heard that Delta has ordered many of these for their fleet and I can see why, a much better flying experience than the 737 or A320, in my opinion,.
Delta has ordered 90 and have received about 30 so far
Love your video dan
Air Baltic is transitioning to an all A220 fleet which I am excited for, because it’ll be another reason for me to go out of my way to fly them. The reason I don’t want to fly their classic Boeing 737’s is because I’ve had enough of those with Belavia 😤 Especially that time I flew from Minsk to Astana on a 737-300 and on departure the back of the cabin started smelling like kerosene, and the flight attendants said, “that’s normal, don’t worry”
Great video...hopefully one day I will get back to Europe and try it out!! Xx Kerrin and Leia xx
I am not sure Dan but the seats maybe designed by Recaro who make seats for many cars as well...usually rally cars etc ? Lovely take off vision ! Thanks Dan...looked like a pretty good flight !! Well done as always mate!!
5:13 Yes I have that, and im still really confused all the time hahaha
I fly often on Swiss A220 from London to Geneva
Great video with swiss a220. I was not know that they are flying. Every time when I was looking that plane I was thinking is bombardier
Nonstop Dan you are greatest RUclipsr in the world
Maybe a test of PLL LOT Polish Airlines? Great video as always :)
I also flew Swiss CS300 Business class, it was great!!!
I actually went to Florida recently and I flew the A220-100 and the A321. It was very fun and the legroom in economy was alright. Really cool video❤️👍🇸🇪
Danny Pitalua glad you had a good flight!
Just book to go on a Swiss A220 for the first time in October. Really looking forward to seeing if the A220 lives up to the hype.
Ups A220 my favorite aircraft after A350
I hope Wings Air use A220 for replace Atr 72
Earlier today I watched Josh Cahill's review of Air Tanzania's A220. Compared to that, the Swiss Business cabin looked like a typical European Business cabin, i.e. exactly the same as the Economy cabin :-( It would be great to see European airlines have the sort of Business cabin Air Tanzania has instead.
That Foreign Bloke Air Tanzania recently flew their A220 on the DAR BOM route. I bet the J class pax were glad they had those seats 😉
FINALLY A NEW VIDEO
I’ll be trying the A220 on Air Baltic
I flew the a220 swiss and
it was awesome
Yaaaaas I flew Swiss too recently and LOVED ITT
Honestly you're the best youtuber
Greate music from epidemic. Really liked this video! ❤️
I flew their Bombardier which was nice.
As a Canadian I am still sorry that Bombardier had to sell their majority stake to Airbus. Having said that since it became the Airbus 220 sales have taken off which I think saved the aircraft. You are right, i think Boeing's bid to keep Delta from getting the C-series totally backfired.
Haven't flown on one yet. Maybe when Air Canada get theirs next year.
They sold 50,1% of it.
@@dododakowski2813 Actually, 50.01% (not that it really matters) ;-)
Flight date: July 1st

Hopefully it was worth the wait 🙂
How do u tell?
Look in the description
It says it there
My dog is sleeping and he is a labrador
He must be as tired as I was recording this video lol!
I have homework, but Dan’s video’s come first
Uh oh😂
I mostly book @airBaltic for my flights. I am always looking forward to be on their A220-300s. Flying 4,5 hours from RIX to LIS for example is comfortable enough.
Wow, posted on my bday, let’s go!
Great to know. So what is the link for the read on fear of flying.
What type of watch do u have? it looks fab
Hey Dan I love the video keep up the good work bro😎✈✈✈🌎🌍🌈💓😉
Thanks Ricky :)
Hello from SMF! That's such a lovely plane!
Would you ever give us a tour of your hometown in Sweden? Thank you!
Maybe one day! ;)
Flew London City to Zurich with Swissair last year and, to be honest, I was a little underwhelmed with the A220. Not as quiet in the cabin as I was led to believe it was and the legroom wasn't brilliant. On our return flight the pressurisation was faulty and we returned to Zurich, so perhaps that has coloured my opinion. Ended up 4 hours later on an A321 to Heathrow, quite the wrong side of London for us and it was a mad dash on the Heathrow Express and tube to get the last train home to Kent. Much preferred the BA Embraer 190 we flew from LCY to Glasgow.
I have to research this Delta situation! Sounds rivetting!
Thanks Dan! Love it 🥰
I love the A220... the seats very comfortable!!
You need to try airbaltic and their Airbus A220!😊🥰
The a220 is such an amazing aircraft it’s the baby a350
I flew Swiss A220 last year to ZRH. It was a nice and comfortable flight. Second leg to AMS also on a A220 there was a technical problem, transferred to an A320. Some months later, 400 Eur in compensation 😀
OMG nice!😂
Not bad Dan it's pretty much ok 👍💕
