I applaud you Tiff for speaking up about the abuse you have dealt with and I couldn’t believe that no one really called out Mildred for that either. It’s such a double standard. ANYONE can be a victim of DV and it’s time that everyone acknowledges that.
It was ridiculous to me that it wasn’t even addressed in the most basic way. Someone on another video suggested they at least include resources/hotlines for DV, and I agree. Including something like that would at bare minimum acknowledge the reality of the situation.

I realized Mildred was TOXIC when Aussie walked out on her.. talking about tampons in the trashcan was trashy AF! Esp when Aussie made it clear that they’ve struggled with their gender identity. The tampon comment seemed to be very cold and calculated imho. 😒
I was over Mildred when she and Tiff were in the “don’t interrupt me” fight. The way Mildred tried to turn herself into the victim was WILD.

the eyeliner comment was such a simple way to discredit Mildred/notice her lies. “I found eyeliner and I don’t even wear eyeliner” AS SHE’S SITTING THERE WEARING EYELINER IN THE REUNION.

Vanessa might have been one of the most honest people in the end. Like I applaud her growth. Unlike Yoly who is still like ‘did that happen, oh yeah it did’ at the reunion.

I don't like Vanessa. IMO she was waaaaay too abrasive and sexual with people who weren't into it, but her biggest crime is just being loud, creepy and unlikable. And deeply conceited. And immature. And selfish. Let me stop. Bottom line is, she was accused of being there for fame by a person with a larger following, everything with Rae was consensual, and I think Yoly was quick to deflect and try to make Vanessa look bad once she was outed for lying at the reunion. Vanessa is unlikeable, but she's honest, and what you see is what you get. I'd prefer blatantly annoying to a snake any day.
*edit* When I wrote my original comment I didn't know that Rae has come out and said she was blackout drunk that night. If that's the case, we all know the word for what Vanessa is, and whatever happened between them couldn't have been consensual.
@@hannahs6474 While I do think Vanessa was honest (the point of being quite rude at times), I'm not sure if we can call "Fingergate" (what even is that name lolol) consensual. Yes, Rae might have led Vanessa's hand over to her, but both Lexi and Rae have confirmed that Rae was entirely blackout drunk when it happened. The scene we saw the next morning was Vanessa telling Rae what happened because she couldn't remember.
It looks like Rae doesn't fault Vanessa, but realistically you can't consent when you're that intoxicated.

I had a soft spot for Tiff right from the start, then they dug themselves deeper into my heart with the unreasonably fierce way of loving their dog (I could relate to that vulnerable defense SO SO much), so seeing Tiff completely dissolve in trauma tears after/during the reunion, the helplessness, the tiredness and pain after years and years of being used to fight and being on eggshells just triggered a lot of my own emotionality and past pain.
Sending out lots of love to Tiff (I hope you're still reading these) and wish you all the best for present and future. Would love to see an update on this channel every once and then!

The instigating comment from Yoly was just crazy, the complete opposite of what had happened. It really makes me question Yoly's entire judgment and character, not only her behavior when it comes to her own personal romantic relationships

You guys should have Vanessa on the podcast talking about her experience on the show 👀 Even if it’s virtual. I know she came out as obnoxious in a few episodes, but I actually thought her jokes came off as fierce 🔥 and didn’t take her jokes too seriously, she seems like a fun person if you share the same sense of humor
I’m sure you’ve seen me on all the apps but again Tiff you are doing beautiful work. I have so much trauma but I can’t pay to talk w/you all. I’m disappointed but I get what you’re doing and wish I didn’t have so many bills!! Love all the work you’re doing for us fellow survivors!

Mildred’s line saying she couldn’t really push you because of how big you are reminds me of when my ex punched a person randomly at a bus stop and claimed it didn’t matter because they were and I quote a “skinny twink” that couldn’t actually hurt someone. He also told that story like I was supposed to find it funny and not horrifying.

Hey guys I appreciate you chasing that bag. A few criticisms tho, have some notes with talking points to keep it organized and have some direction. Gottis exciment to share her thoughts led to her rambling and talking over tiff a little bit, be more mindful and ask eachother some questions! And finally sprinkle in a little editing to remove some awkward spots lol
I watch so many podcasts and love supporting smaller channels especially in queers spaces but this one was a bit hard to watch for those reasons. Still looking forward to the next one tho! Keep grinding 💪

Do you really believe the ultimatum is real? I just presumed it was a fake ultimatum for TV and everyone involved knows that
I’ve been enjoying this podcast. I’m glad you guys aren’t censoring yourselves and actually speaking your mind. Some suggestions though, maybe get a rug or something so there can be less of an echo. Also maybe change the seating to where you guys are sitting across from each other instead of side by side. Maybe across each other on a table or maybe separate couches or comfy chairs (without a table) across each other. I feel like this way would seem more natural so you wouldn’t have to keep turning or looking over your shoulder to watch each other speak. Another thing maybe move the mic closer to you faces or getting a higher mic stand or mic boom arm that clamps to your table so you can adjust and move it around. Because it sounds like the mic is picking up the sound/voice from AROUND the room instead of directly from your mouth. I can’t wait to see your channel grow and what it’ll become. You both seem hella chill. One last thing, bring your friend Natasha on maybe one day and let her give her opinion cause she was pretty blunt when you guys did the meet ups lol

Tiff, I commend you for speaking out on this issue and I’m so sorry you had to actually go through it. I’ve been educating myself on narcissism for years now since I was continually berated and shamed by my family. My mother is the narcissist in my life and it’s been a roller coaster trying to deal with her and her gaslighting. I’m also pretty sure that she used the same excuse about ethnicity when I called her out for being loud and disrespectful. I was told “We’re Italian.” I went no contact for months and recently got back in touch and it’s very scary to be honest because I feel like the cycle is just going to repeat again but I’m trying and it’s a whole other layer of complicated when it’s family. Anyway I enjoyed watching you on the show and I could tell you’re a good soul. I wish you all the best. ❤

Tiff, i totally get what you're saying, and i look forward to getting to know YOU through this podcast, without the context of your ex and the Netflix show.
Also, Kari ... as someone who isnt latina, It must be hard hearing Mildred saying that about your community, but also - any logical human knows that people can have toxic traits, no matter their race or where they're from, so i dont think people came away from this looking down on Latinas - but looking down on that womans actions.

I know your angry now and probably have been for a while but I know that you loved her and she devastated you, they always surprise us even when we feel we know everything and are prepared-they find a way through to blindside you and it rips your soul open over and over again. And just talking about it retriggers you but you also have to talk about it to heal. Its literally the craziest shit ever
yes you're right about the anger. I understand it's temporary. I have already had my share of anger about the situation and became fine about it....except, it does re-open up some feelings when it is now split wide open in front of millions of people....it just hits different. I know I'll be okay in a few days and I know I'm already more at peace with it ever since I put out that closure my side of the story video and processed it for a few days.

I wish Kari would stop talking over Tiff so much. I know she's just trying to agree or back something up but it's kinda annoying when both are talking at the same time. And I know I do that myself as someone with pressured speech but I try really hard to not do that on recordings.
I agree. I also talk A LOT, maybe that’s why I was annoyed by it. 😅 It’s hard to see your own personality when it’s not you.
@@Alexx0050 I don't mind it sometimes but it comes across like Tiff is struggling for words and she just takes over sometimes. I know how annoying it is when someone tries to finish your sentence but isn't on the same track as you, so I just go 'hmm, yeah' instead and then step in during a break of speech personally.
Like how I talk isn't for everyone, I've lost friends over it but I really try hard to manage it lol. I feel like in recordings you just have to be a bit different, you're not going to be able to get every point you want out and you need the recording to be accessible for listeners so you have to cut yourself off more if you're both talking, whereas in person I'm capable of talking and listening at the same time, which is why my family don't mind butting over each other to a degree. lol

Somebody else also noticed the overtalking, commented, and Tiff and Kari said that they’re gonna pay attention next time. ☺️ And you’re also right about the recording, maybe that’s a bit different, I’ve never done a podcast before.
@@Alexx0050 That's good, they're still new to it so it makes sense they're still learning how to pace things.
Also with this subject (DV), Kari did say they were both getting triggered at one point, and I think that could have made it a bit harder for them. Maybe me being sensitive to the subject of abuse also made me a bit less tolerant of the overlapping voices too.
It's just not a pleasant subject for anyone, and I like that they handle it with respect and love.
I think Tiff could cuss people out a bit more but she's too nice lmao
