It feels pitty when people fight for caste, religion, ethnicity instead of working on saving water or recharging ground water more, there will be mass migration inside this country as water scarcity increases.

Yes you are absolutely right. We need to set our differences aside and prioritise conservation of water as the scarcity issue is real.

Accidentally came by this documentary after seeing the latest coverage on security guards. Glad to see such coverage. I think apart from the drainage I feel if the water from split ac is treated properly still a lot of water can be saved as he said water from moisture is a similar concept. Not sure if in the upcoming days, these ideas get implemented.

Storm water drains are going to make it way worse. Zero concrete and exceptional water harvesting will raise the water table and stop flooding. Every second inch of Chennai is concrete. The storm water drains too drain into the Cooum or the sea in a more efficient manner. Remove concrete across Chennai from every compound.

    • @just_smitten
      @just_smitten 2 года назад

The newly constructed stormwater drains are being laid out connecting the existing ones. While this has made a huge difference in the core city, several areas of the city still get inundated during heavy rains. It is vital that the roads are not completely concretised so that there is enough ground for water to percolate in.

      @@just_smitten Absolutely Right .
And the storm water drains have been built like dams using up huge investments. Don't understand why they needed to use such solid concrete culverts. It's after all rainwater and if some does seep into the earth it will only help improve the groundwater. If only they had insisted no rainwater pours out of each compound and worst case if they ensured percolation pits at every 10 feet or so within the Storm water drains would have made Chennais ground water table better. Rain is the only source of fresh water.

Why CJI talks so much about court and law when even CIVIL CASES cannot be contested online and we consider our country progressing
More than 1 country 1 uniform
    We need
    1 country 1 law
    1 country 1 job 1 PAY
    1 family 1 RESERVATION benefit
( Behind 1 SC ST OBC selection 9 in queue )
GOV jobs must be 5 yrs agneepath with NPS
    1 family 1 GOV job / pension
Don't try to improve only 1 , touch at least 1 family , minimum 10 will be helped
GOV job ( central / state ) must get same pay , 6 pc till recession is over
Corruption no mercy , if proven it's actually anti national crime

Absolutely. This has been a recurrent problem in Chennai. Hopefully with the new stormwater drain system and if residents take the initiative to conserve rainwater, we can make the city safer.

Am I the only one who is disgusted by the fact that this channel keeps bashing India, Hindus and appeases muslims? I am also surprised by How this channel is running even though it gets no views? I mean Look at the number of views which this channel is getting. I never see the views going more than 5K even this channel has more subscribers. I think this channel needs to start publishing Pro-Indian Content which is relatable to ordinary people. Thanks No hate!
