    Its called diversity. Before publishing DW should know the geography of that area.
    India has Cold-Hot deserts, Glaciers, Largest Newest-oldest mountains and most rainest places of the world.
    Temperature varies -50 to +50 Celsius in India

      And yes it also have most fertile soil in the world in gangatic plains and Punjab region
      Don't compare India with smaller country for comparison otherwise you won't understand how climate works here
      And fyi the current temp in Siachen ,india area is -50 degree celcius and in rajesthan it's around 50°c

    actually India has a river valley linking project ongoing nationwide. it involves linking water surplus watershed areas with water deficit through an extensive network of canals and balancing reservoirs.
    It's gonna cost over $50 billion and take almost a decade
    DW Team shouldn't miss out reporting on this crucial scheme of Govt.

      @@CharlesDrafter11 assuming the 5000 miles plus of pipe is available for use and the ground has already been prepared, yes, you could build a pipe across the US in 9 months. If you had to manufacture the pipe, prepare the ground (surveys, bridging / blasting, etc) and didn't have a small army of workers, it would take a little longer.

    central, west , south and northeast part of India recieved good rainfall this year and north india is more than 50 percent rain deficient. Situating is bad in north India

    Do you know 2022 is here and what I observed this summer were without gale & typhoon which occurs every end or mid of summer season so monsoon rain shed to cool the earth but this phenomenon didn't occur. Its too late trees are been put down to build concrete jungle.
    I Am worried.

      @@joexavier4070 Sadly the west has little respect left for India. It was few people who soured it all for Indians. I am talking about hackers, scammers and copyright infringers. I own a small IT business and have a secret emergency line for customers, but some scam center bruteforced it and now they are calling me 7 times a day. Meanwhile every day I see more than thousand attacks stemming from India trying to breach my servers.
      Before you ask, I am not English, I speak a very rare and hard to learn language and yet the people calling me are almost native speaking. I can't fathom what harassment non-tech people go through by those calls.
      And in IT India by now is a joke since during Covid Indian Freelancers started stealing source code and databases and are either trying to sell it or even start counter businesses since they don't have any copyright laws they would need to adhere to

      Climate change affects La Niña patterns through temperature changes which in turn affects the regional and micro climate and exacerbates extreme events like drought and flooding.

      My degree is in environmental science my research focused in climatology. It's completly within normal seasonal fluctuations, just in the margins of the average data variances. Yes I watched the video, and I'm informing both this inaccurate media company as well as the viewer. I don't need to watch the video however to look up the climatological data. The locals feel it more because it's impossible to plan for drought years when you're barely able to survive in an overpopulated region with a government that has a general inability to keep up with infrastructure load and disaster relief. I hope this helps broaden your understanding of the situation. It's still unfortunate for the locals either way.

    But seasons and places in India have always been diverse
    India is a huge country with that thar desert and large chilled mountains
    It has always been like this here some part it rains less while for others monsoon is everlasting
    I just want to say that when it comes to climate don't compare it with other smaller country

    That is why we need mandatory minimal transport tax in every country around globe. At least 3 median wages per year. So to make driving and shopping unaffordable for non special people. Special are medical staff, government staff. And medium/large business owners .

      Yea, we need a scarcity mindset now. An economy sufficient to meet needs, but no unnecessary surplus. The problem, as I see it, is no individual or nation will abide a limit if others do not do the same. So everyone on earth has to be equal, at the lowest possible energy use and consumption levels without being deficient. And they have to do so willingly. The rich, who largely caused this, do not, and will not want to cooperate. Yet, humanity being cooked to death, just so the rich can fly in airplanes and live in luxury is unacceptable.
