I don't have spd pedals yet but want to get some. right now I use toe clips on my road bike but biking longer distances around the city is started to hurt my feet in my new balance running shoes with the toe clips. do you think these would be good to use with toe clips until I can pick up some clipless pedals
yes, but not super aggressively. It is still laces on a recreational shoe vs latched down! Ride within your confidence levels for sure. I think it is an awesome casual riding shoe if you are on and off the bike and meeting up with people.
@@PriorityBicyclesNYC yea seems i somewhat wasted $300, the only issue is that it seems somewhat loose, actually just put the clips and velos on my bike today an rode a little, even if u tighten them they move somewhat. hopefully i put them on right, going To take it to a shop tomorrow. i never rode with clips before and I've known rly advanced cyclists who wear these then again my style is mainly delivery stuff so its not too aggressive. Is the caution more that they can come out or they wear down fast?
@@PriorityBicyclesNYCwore them all day yesterday did deliveries all day, funny the clipping in is actually alot easier than I thought, but there still some room for my feet to move side to side which is odd. Asked around and what clips and Cleats would u recommend? I've heard time Atac got good stuff, jsut unsure
So how do these compare to the chrome industries spd shoes? I’ve put on over 200miles on my shoes and the sole is slowly falling apart, I can easily use superglue but I been thinking of getting these
The quality of this video is juust amazing for the size of the channel! Great job
Ha! Thanks- tell a friend
I sized down half a size to 12.5 from 13 in Nike, but I wear 11.5 in Reebok, 12 in Converse, 11 in fur-lined a Crocs, and 10 in regular Crocs.
Nice, I’m not so much of a clip on person or ever tried it but those do look nice.
Definitely want these I have chrome industries shoes I had to get a size 9 I’m normally a 9.5
Where'd you get that hat?
Why not get a dual purpose flat/spd oedal/ That's what I put on all my bikes

YES! the bottom is super firm!
Do you need to install spacer for the cleats?
i think i had on the standard washer - nothing different than my pearls with SPD
New to cleat shoes/pedals, these are good for shinamo eh500’s right?
I'm guessing yes. I have used with similar. Guessing you could shim if you needed to!

@@nurielweiss8884 yeah - i'd get riding with clips down first- that's a challenge in itself. Hard to gauge a shoe before getting that sorted!

What was the most miles you did with this shoes?
25 mellow miles. I’ve commuted 5 in it. It’s more of a casual clip in vibe
You can only use in the bike, cuz it’s terrible to walk with them
Really? I really wanna know this
