I've got a raptor 700 but it's hard to beat a 4 wheel drive 1000. They rode the hell out of those!

Man this really brought back memories. I rode heavily in my town from 2001 till about 2010. Almost all the land we rode on has been developed, in about another year there will be nothing left. There isn't any where worth riding within a couple hours of here now.

It's great to have long Time riding buddies,had some for many years,no more ,they couldn't handle it physically,nice rides,stop tossing off,we rode Pennsylvania wilds and strip mines, either going up or down

Just picked up a sportsman 850 and loving it. Last bike was a 500 Honda. An was an avid street bike rider also had Rmz 450, an there’s nothing like ripping on a big cc quad... NOTHING!!!! The mobility of goin anywhere and getting there fast is super freeing.....

I've been running the maxxis big horn 2.0 on my rene 1000, night and day compared to the stockers. I had an 09 Raptor and loved it.
You can see that he loves to ride his bike and not petting it on the garage , that thing is a beast its always sideways 🦾.

Can ams sound badass and got plenty of power....but me personally from experience. Parts for them damn things should be gold plated with the price of parts.

Great video! That Can-Am with like 40hp more than you and about 14” longer wheelbase is a hard quad to follow.

I'm a retired Quad rider here on Australia, my last steed was a Quadzilla I had from new in '87 and kept for 19 years until I sold it for more than I paid for it! Gotta win sometimes! Then I ALMOST boiught a Raptor but wifey had other plans so I'm content with my Multistrada these days. Getting older now and the trail bumps aren't as easily dealt with so maybe a good idea I didn't get that beautiful Raptor, who really knows. Thanks again - loved watching your day out. Cheers, Brian.

He has a dominator exhaust on it and a tune. I had an XMR 1000 with a HMF swamp XL exhaust and it sounded mean as hell too.

You should’ve asked him if you could’ve taken that thing for a ride , the can am 1g Xcc, I got a raptor 700 , it’s got work done to it , it runs good but ......I got a renegade 1g in 2017 with full exhaust an clutch work . I don’t even like riding the raptor anymore lol!! That Ren is so comfortable and powerful it’s awesome !!!!!! That’s a nice looking raptor yougot , nice vid 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I did ride it! it was very smooth with its delivery and is definitely comfortable. I enjoy riding a manual so I would still pick the raptor for that reason. Plus the Can Am is quite a bit heavier so it's not as easy to toss around. Both machines have their strengths and weaknesses! I would love to have both and they would both have their purpose!
