I've noticed when the radios are new. The ext mic plug is quirky. I had problems with programming cable and ext mic. Had to insert the ext accessory fully, then with palm of my hand, press the plug HARD. Doesn't seem like it moves, but it does, just enough to complete contact.
Hello , With your microphone, did you notice that's the transceiver don't switch to TX during the transceiver is RXing or squelch is open? same with a baofeng or Kenwood smc-32 microphone. I tried to find something in the menu but nothing find. So how can we use repeater (when it open) as the transceiver refuse to TX
@@metenierpierre6703 I've seen a few comments (one on this channel) that this is due to voltage on the speaker when squelch open. The solution is apparently to insert a capacitor in line with the speaker in the mic if you don't want to open the radio.
The internal speaker in the quansheng ht is great. It's louder and clearer than the speaker in my ol icom ic-208H mobile!
Yes I know what y mean .
The one that came with my H8 sounds really good.
Yes so good )
Hi, is there any setting required to use speaker mic? My speaker mic does not work, when it is just plugged.
Should just work make sure it is a speaker microphone .
