Glad I found your video, I fished these this morning for the first time and had trouble walking the dog, well I had it rigged the wrong way , had the ribs pointing towards the sky, I was very frustrated. Thank God I found this video. Thanks

@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 I’ve used both. And have caught fish on both. I’m in Manteca so I fish southern parts of delta and just want to say I love your channel. You the man I’ll definitely say hi if I see you out there.
Welcome and thanks for the support. I may need to have you send me a pic of your next big one. I will put it up on the delta report and freek some people out. Thanks again for watch and if you ever head this way be sure to look me up.
Lol. I couldnt help myself either and grabbed a couple GPumpkin packs during the drop the other day. J Christie says he puts em on scroungers and chatterbaits too! Great seeing u at the show!
I got them when they first came out in 2020. I had to get them from Japan and they were 45 for 4 of them! They come in theee sizes from what I know. 140, 150, 155. I have the chartreuse, white, and the dark brown/black. They're absolute fire!!! At least up here in Michigan they crush it.
Thanks for that tip Chris. I have yeat to find a go to hook for that bait. Always looking for a better hook up rate with that bait. I get bite a lot, my hook up percent has not been good. Thanks.
Thanks M. I have XL and XXL on hand. Large is being shiped as of yesterday. Just let me know what size you need and where to ship. I can send you a venmo request. Thanks
Damn I just placed an order from The Hookup Tackle on Saturday and SKIPPED RIGHT OVER THESE and now they are GONE!!! Why didn't you release this video a few days earlier?!? LOL Thanks for the info, I'll have to grab some on the next drop. Stocked up on some Bellows Gill and Bellows Stick along with a few Yoto Worms. Those thinks slay behind a chatterbait. Cheers!!
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 Can you please do a video on good places to fish on the delta? I’m a newer Angler and Rigged up my jet ski for bass fishing. Wow after watching your footage I’m going on right now and getting a bunch of those that’s going to absolutely kill it you’re right nothing really mimics that right now not a frog not a popper not a pencil walker that’s the ticket out here on the Delta your right thanks for the info do you think its gonna last a long time or is the tail gonna rip off?
I get bite a lot. The hook up ratio is not good. I have had good luck in open water with exposed hook but I really wanted to have a bigger weedless fluke style bait to through around tulies. My go to right now is a white horney toad with a underspin.
It's a great bait. Every time I think I can make something that will be cheaper or better it never seems to be that easy. I like using the bait-don't like paying for them, let me know when figure out how to replicate them.
Hey there everyone I did a quick search and found some for sale on Midway USA and fish USA some colors they have in stock some they don't tightlines everyone !!😉
Hard to say. I have started using a 6/0 beast hook and the hook up rate has been better. The bait should get 3 to 5 fish depending on how the fish are taking it and how big the fish are. The nose of the bait has been the problem-kind of like a senko. This thing gets the bites and is a fun bait to use.
I know they are hard to find. I headr the The hook up tackle had them but were now sold out. I have also heard that a site called Midway USA has them. I f I get hard info. I will let everyone know. Thanks for the input.
A drop of super glue is a good idea. The nose is what gets torn up. I fish white in day light and black after dark. Go one size larger on the hook you think is the right size. I have had troble with my hook up ratio. My favorite situation is sparce tullies in 1 to 2 feet of water, over cast the tullies and walk the bait through bumping as many as you can. Really hart stopping when the blow ups happen. Let me know how you like them and if you find a favorite hook.
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 I did watch it, and it looks interesting, but at $40+ a pop . . . Anyway, thanks for all the advice, and testing that you do for us. See you on the ramp at Paradise!

Managed to get a couple... looking forward to throwing one around on pad edges and openings
Let me know how you do. I have been getting bites but have not had a good hook up rate. Have also heard the same from other anglers.

Yes you are crazy, but the bait looks like a killer. Thanks Steve. 🤣

I was wondering, have you had much luck with these since you posted the video two years ago?

Hey Steve did you try and skip that bait at all ? It would kill under a dock or overhang !
Oh Yea-it's at the end of the video and I didn't talk about it. My mistake.
It would be really easy to make something like that

Senko (GP) - Jackhammer - Jerkbait (megabass 110 winter)-punch rig (bever)-Dropshot(roboworm) When in dought about color-go with green pumpkin.
