    Good to see you out on the river. I know why you don't do too many artifact videos but those are my favorite. That little creek is insane!

      Its still kind of a mess. The river did not go down anymore at all. It must have rained up river or something. I went out earlier....and there was just no change in anything. I may go to the dumo now....not sure.
      Hope you are doing ok

    The beaver den of ancient treasure keeps giving it up. The high bank feeder stream was a fun ride. After you busted out the sifter things really heated up! Stem point on the shovel ⚡️ The sunshine and warm had Squirrel man all fired up 🏹😎🍀

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  9 месяцев назад +1

      Well. I think it is over on that place. It looked bad. I think I sifted it out. It may ytake 20 years for that to replenish enough to dig. That big root ball and tree is keeping the bank secure. So not as much erosion. Up further there are bank cave ins.....and that is where all the flakes came from....I dont think i could find a point on the beaver den area if I sifted for 8 hours. It is that beat up now

      But after it washed out a little. I may find a few things just laying out. If I get lucky.

    That was one narrow creek you paddled up. I always find the layering of the soil interesting in areas like that. Your right about the roots, an such, catching all sorts of little artifacts. You'll be having all kinds of fun this spring ! :~)

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  9 месяцев назад

      Well..it is not bad. I am hoping the water goes down another foot. Then I can go above the dam and have a chance at a clovis point. I will go to better spots than this. I will find 2 or 3 points in that area. Then it will be sifted out. Id say there is a truck load of stuff to sift in that area for now

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is still really high. Most of the best places I hunt are still under water. There are some places that te banks have caved in. That is where you want to go...that is where I do

      @@OldManMuskrat I have been seeing lots of tracks but no bears.Lots of Fox's here on the river. They are killing the geese and ducks.

    • @OldManMuskrat
      @OldManMuskrat 9 месяцев назад

      I rarely see anything except Raccoons, muskrats, and coyote tracks. I was surprised to see the bear tracks. I took pictures and made a video to show friends or they would never believe me. We rarely see black bears in Greenup County. The tracks I found on the sand were quite big. Intimidating when you're 3 miles from the car and all you have is a cooler over your shoulder like a walking picnic basket. @@rockscousteau

    • @rockscousteau
      @rockscousteau  9 месяцев назад +1

      Ive been looking for arrowheads before I go to the dump almost every day....I have found all kinds of stuff the last year.
      Those other uploads are the ONLY way to earn a living. Nobody here EVER has with an arrowhead hunting channel. That is the issue. It sucks. But that is life.
      I probably have enough clips to do 100 arrowhead hunting uploads. But they will pay half as much as a dump video with a $2.00 marble in the cover image. it is insane

    You’re on em again Rockstar. Here a flake, there a flake, everywhere a worked flake… Old Mc Rocks had a farm! You get anymore animals and you might just qualify. The translucent flakes and point material is called Gemmy.
