  • Underoath's very last show at Jannus Landing in St. Pete, FL on January 26, 2013. Performing "A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White" and "Writing on the Walls." Also includes Spencer's farewells and thank yous to the fans, friends, and family. And a lot of crazy awesome things at the end of their last song. Sorry for any shaky or bad camera work, there was a lot going on at the end of the show! I do not own these songs, they are copyright Underoath/Solid State Records 2004 and Underoath/Tooth & Nail Records 2006 respectively.

Took me over a year to look into this. I grew up on this band. I had a crazy teenage experience and a crazy young adult experience, like most people, and these guys were the background music for all of it. I still get a flood of nostalgia with every song I listen to. Seeing them all throw in their instruments actually brought me to tears a little bit. This is the worst band ending I could think of. R.I.P Underoath.

Definitely man●●•• The only way I can think to salvage what is left from this is to check out the new band Spencer is in, "Sleepwave" hopefully you find at least a small bit of comfort in this too●●••

I actually asked Grant the other day at a meet and greet about the band's feelings about being over. I definitely got the feeling that they all regretted ending the band very soon after. Spencer was actually vocal the whole time even in the press about not wanting the band to end. I'm very happy that they chose to reunite and are still together today.

it's not over for me. i don't think it ever will be. i may not be able to see them live again but i still feel the music... and listen to them, thrice, thursday, poison the well, glassjaw and a shit-ton others everyday.

Ughhh, I'm so sad that this was their last show. They have been my favorite band since 2007 when I first heard Define the Great Line. I walked in to Best Buy and browsed the music section, I saw DTGL and remembered my friend talking about them. I bought it on instinct without ever even hearing them, which I never do. One of the best accidents to ever happen to me. Thank you so, so much for posting this. Farewell UO.

Despite losing a lot of interest with this band over the last 3 or 4 years, I owe them so much. They were the first band I heard with screaming, the first band that brought me into the hardcore scene and they were also the first concert I ever went to. They`re Only Chasing Safety is still one of my all time favorite records and was one of the first records I latched onto. Gunna miss these guys. Thanks for the memories boys! Now excuse me while I shed a couple of tears.

There are words to describe what I felt the moment Writing On The Walls began till the moment the video cut off, That was the first song I had ever heard by UnderØath, that song is the reason I even know of their existance the feeling I feel is amazing. Nothing could have been better than that song being played as their last. But...there are words that can also describe how bad it feels, I wasn't there, it tears me to shreds...there are words that can describe how this all feels,"This sucks."

As much as I hate to see them go, you have to admit, they left at the perfect time. Think, a lot of bands stay together too long, and get washed out. These guys were on top of the world, they could hardly get any better. But they quit while they were ahead. So they could be known as the greatest metal band to ever live, not that band that tried to outlast everyone else. They didn't need to outlast anyone, they definitely proved themselves to the world. Their music never lost its power, the guys
