That was magnificent. I was ready to cry when Natalie, Randy, and Stottlemeyer showed up. Even after all this time, he still does Monk perfectly! Even after 3 years playing a 50s Math professor in NYC! So glad that he and his wife are doing good after having had the virus.
I had it too and I can say it's pretty rough. Even without being someone with a higher risk, breathing was super difficult. It puts it into perspective that if the mild cases are that bad, then it must be a nightmare for those that are really at risk.
After watching this, the cast of “Monk” could easily do a reboot. They look great and they’re EXACTLY the same characters they were years ago. They fell into parts so easily. Thats a testament to their talent and chemistry.

She identifies with Adrian Monk because she has OCD, too. She'll point out when they're portraying therapy incorrectly. 😂
When we first met Mr. Monk, we all thought he was going way overboard. We all laughed at him. In the future, our children and grandchildren will watch those same episodes and comment how he was a visionary, just a little ahead of his time..... So great to see all our old friends again...🙂

I can't believe I missed this when it came out. Just binged the Monk series on Netflix, watched the movie on Peacock, then saw in an interview they mentioned they did this PSA. I can't believe I missed the series when it was on! I was so busy in those days with college and starting a career. Watching it on Netflix was so nostalgic in a lot of ways even though the episodes were all new to me.
Hershey Kisses because his fears surrounding shaking hands people coughing or sneezing and germs in general he now has a legit reason to be scared although everything he did in the show was understandable in terms of hygiene
Jesus they fit right back in so seamlessly, they haven't lost a step in a decade! All of these other revivals seem to be out of place, but they're all still so great as those characters!

Monk was a big hero for somebody that was simular, like me and to me he was somebody to look up too, this was a joy at the time it came out and still is. World needs more Monk. ❤ He'd never leave his home and neither did I because I couldn't.
OMG I love this! I'm an ER doctor from Singapore and have watched every single episode of Monk. I also met Tony Shalhoub at the Lincoln Center after attending one of his stage performances in 2014 - he was so gracious and kind, and couldn't believe Monk actually aired in my country haha. Great to see him and the whole Monk gang again! And also Seth MacFarlane! Thank you for doing this for a good cause. 😊
My 12 y.o. blew through the entire series since March 17. She is madly in love with Mr. Monk. She laughed and cried and cheered for him. She has sensory issues of her own, and has had way too much empathy since birth, so each episode truly affected her to her core. She just finished the last two episodes on Mother’s Day. She was so sad it was over. “I want to marry Mr. Monk.” I said, “You would be an amazing wife to a Mr. Monk.” And she would. She loved this reunion. Thank you for doing it. ❤️ Stay safe.
My heart broke when he cried washing his hands. What a difficult time this is to have sensory issues. Sending extra loving energy to parents shepherding their precious children through these times.
This is SUCH a treat. Literally just finished rewatching the series and kept wondering what Monk would be like during the pandemic. I’m crying tears of joy. So happy to see the cast and glad they’re all recovered and healthy:)
When the announcer said ... lesser known celebrities, I was shocked when he meant Tony Shalhoub!! You have to love Monk! I cried when I saw the rerun of the series finale for at least 3 airings. I miss Shaun and Gus too.

I'm currently watching the Monk series again, I'm in the eighth and final season and I can say that I love the whole series and the characters. I would love if there was a comeback, an extra season.

Agreed! Neither my husband or myself are TV fans-not in the least. But this is one that we have been hooked on. Learned about it around mid-series, but now have bought the whole series' DVDs many times over and watch it every night. Great story lines, great lines, mystery, humor, drama, and a cast that just came together perfectly.
I still have a void in my heart having no new content of mr monk and the series. I remember embracing a tv show far more than anything when I lost my daughter when I saw an episode of him talking about missing his wife. Made me feel it and I fell in love with the show. Please bring it back

oh my goodness. I love this. I'm a nurse and having been watch monk during my quarantine this week and I totally relate to monk in some of those old scenes. This really touched my heart. Thank all of you for your support. It makes a big difference in moral going into year 3 of this.

When I had severe anxiety and depression, monk gave me a sense of relief and normalcy. One of my favorite shows ever!

I'm currently watching the Monk series again, I'm in the eighth and final season and I can say that I love the whole series and the characters. I would love if there was a comeback, an extra season.

Agreed! Neither my husband or myself are TV fans-not in the least. But this is one that we have been hooked on. Learned about it around mid-series, but now have bought the whole series' DVDs many times over and watch it every night. Great story lines, great lines, mystery, humor, drama, and a cast that just came together perfectly.
Monk and Psych are legendary detective shows and not to spoil anything but let's just say you'll want to watch them both
My favorite episode is the one with the clown. It was hilarious!

I still have a void in my heart having no new content of mr monk and the series. I remember embracing a tv show far more than anything when I lost my daughter when I saw an episode of him talking about missing his wife. Made me feel it and I fell in love with the show. Please bring it back

oh my goodness. I love this. I'm a nurse and having been watch monk during my quarantine this week and I totally relate to monk in some of those old scenes. This really touched my heart. Thank all of you for your support. It makes a big difference in moral going into year 3 of this.
