Swordies don't lose to DK. We just have to think and anticipate instead of whiffing hitboxes like we can do against short range characters.
Seven Harmon A lot of us agree swordies lose to Heavies and the percents for use to get Grabbed by DK and Bowser are pretty large. Me personally I hate spacing around DK and Bowser with Marth no less only to get grabbed and die within 2-3 grabs. And I play incredibly patiently but no matter who you are its impossible to play perfectly to prevent a grab

i would never use my marth vs dk lol that MU is trash unless you literally dont lose neutral against someone with the same range as you
Young Thanatos The matchup is entirely possible. They have the same range but heavies typically suck at landing and are very easy to shut down at the ledge. Sure we die early but we keep them in disadvantage.

i mean, their post quarantine set count is tweek favored. so it goes... tweek double eliminated leo at summit 3 (2-0 tweek) into leo double eliminated tweek at riptide the following weekend (2-2) into tweek winning at collision and subsequently winning at summit 5 (4-2 tweek favored)

HIs Bayo lacked extended combos but he was pretty good about not SD after using his specials like many other bayo mains do

Andrés Dashie because last time Tweek went DK Leo didn't enjoy it in the slightest. It seems Leo doesn't only lose to heavy weights, he feels bad playing them.
It really astonishes me how Leo can play so many characters at a top level. Props to Tweek for 3-0ing someone he's had somewhat of a problem with though.

This is a psa for all comment sections featuring a bayo loss. Yes, people seem to think it's a clear indicator that she's not that good of a character. Yes, those people are ignoring something else about the situation that is the actual explanation for bayo losing. No, it's not worth arguing.
(side note: the extenuating circumstances, in this case, are the fact that Leo is by no means a bayo main nor is he all that well versed in the DK matchup)

I used to play yoshi a lot - and cloud is a terrible match up...so I switch to Zss or even Marth to take a better match up.

fin cost she juggles him really hard and DK has a hard time SDI-ing out of her combos. Leo's problem was using WT as a panic option. He got grabbed every time.

Honestly, Leo seriusly do waaaaaaaay too bad against grabbers for being the second best player of the world.
He better fix this problem or he can say goodbye to the TOP 3 the next PGR, because right now ZeRo, Nairo and Salem have way better results this season, and this tournament will just increase the gap.

Not as much as MKleo, and the only Bayo who really loose is Salem, and we still haven't seen another set since EVO. He also lost one set to Mistake but that is.
I think this is a little bit of a transition season for Leo. Maybe this time he won't make top 3... But I don't think that's a problem. It's not a problem as long as he uses the season to clean up his play. He needs to figure out some characters. He needs to find the answer for DK, he needs to find the best way to fight Sheik (he is pretty much forced to use a different character for every top level Sheik). The same with Sonic. And there are some other characters he needs to work on as well, he needs to become more dominant in some MUs like Pikachu, Peach, MK and Bowser. Those are MUs he usually wins, but he needs to be as dominant in those MUs and in every single MU as he is in the Mario, Fox or Mewtwo MUs. Hopefully he will get there this season if he works on that. And if he does he will most likely be get the 1st in the PGRv5.

Leo just has a hard time against bowser and dk, heavywieghts! His playstyle is countered by the moveset of heavywieghts. MkLeo at most times does outplay tweek and nairo, BUT The comeback factor with heavywieghts is real. They are to strong, and Leo cant handle that at Top level.
Even though MkLeo got beat by tweek mkLeo is still the number 1 player in the world.

He's definitely number two. The problem he has is with ZeRo and grapplers-practiced grapplers. But if you look at his results, he's recently been showing us that he's still definitely number one.
