  • Super simple hair hydrator that I use instead of just plain water to refresh my curls. It hydrates hair and should be used before applying your leave in. Be sure to keep it in the fridge.

    Wow, I am going to try this right away. I will be using fenugreek powder instead of the seeds, also adding in rosemary leaves and basil leaves that I picked up from another video. Basically, letting the fenugreek, rosemary leaves, and basil leaves infuse in hot distilled water overnight. Then next day straining and adding in the aloe vera juice, alma oil, and 3 essential oils of choice. If I like it I will use this spray daily.👍😊

    I just made a spay like this for the first time. I love it. I use fresh rosemary, fresh basil, Fenugreek powder add hot water and let it infuse for 24 hours. Then add aloe vera juice and oils of my choice. I will be using this everyday.

    I’ve been using the fenugreek spritz for about 2 mos and my hair loves it. I usually just use the seeds with water. But now I got fancy and added some peppermint essential oil and olive oil to my spritz. Curly proverbs is tha girl!

    Hey Sis. I wanted to let that I've been using a fenugreek tea made with fenugreek, aloe powder and essential oils for about a month now and WoW...the definition is amazing. I use it as a refresher instead of water. I also use these same ingredients in an oil blend that I use in my hair and on my scalp from one of your other videos. I was worried that using it daily would be over-strengthening but the definition is amazing! The front of my hair has a looser curl pattern than the rest and it was getting even looser over time. I wasn't sure if it was because my hair was getting longer or if I'd experienced a little heat damage from a previous straightening. Either way the protein and salt bonds of my hair love this tea because I'm getting a good deal of shrinkage in the front which is really awesome definition. Thank you so much for continuing to put out great content! God bless you! 🥰🙏

    • @debbik30

      Shelly Reynolds do you place the teabag in the jar or do you boil water and pour over the tea bag first?

    • @shellyreynolds8948
      @shellyreynolds8948 6 лет назад +39

      If possible avoid tea in bags they use bleach in that. Use Organic loose Green Tea, or the leaves. Place them in a pot with some water, Organic dried Basil, and Organic Hibiscus Flowers, or powder. Steep on lowest heat for 15 mins then turn off cover, and leave for 8 to 12 hrs. Strain into a glass bottle, or jar. Pour in Aloe Vera Juice, and you can then add 4 or 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil. Shake then pour into spray bottle. Store the remainder in the refrigerator to replenish as necessary.

    OMG!!! I am a believer in your approach!! 🙌❤️ First Thank you for sharing the Ayurveda diy videos. I subscribed to your channel in May 2017. After struggling with my natural hair for 4 years and a health scare I decided to big chop again. I took your tutorials and added them to my own research. A year and half later my hair is thicker and I’m experiencing less breakage. I am so grateful I didn’t give up and start relaxing my hair. Thank you!! Thank you! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

      Question for you... How would you recommend dealing with breakage in the crown area? The rest of my hair is healthy I’m not sure if I should do an all over cut to remove the damage (hoping not because that would be a lot of lost inches) or if I should just cut the damaged area to the healthy point but feel that would make my style look awkward... any suggestions would help.
      Do you ever do curly cuts on your hair?

    • @CurlyProverbz
      @CurlyProverbz  6 лет назад

      Deadre Diedrick do you have any idea as to the cause of the breakage? X

    • @deadrediedrick9111
      @deadrediedrick9111 6 лет назад

      Curly Proverbz my hair is a different texture in the crown and before I started using your DIYS and belle bar products it was just hard to maintain. Since using ALL the products in your line it has began to thrive but the ends are still thinner then the rest. It’s been about a year since I started with your channel and products so I have a good amount of healthy hair growth but feel like the ends might never fall in line with the rest of my hair.

    Glycerin, if you live in the southern US, is a double edged sword. It does attract water to my hair but with it being so humid here my hair will not hold any type of style (twist out, braid out, wash and go etc) with the combination of the humidity and products that contain glycerin. My hair reverts to its natural texture within an hour. 😭

      Ilicia Gordon that’s how I do mine. I add the aloe after I strain the seeds. I can’t really explain it, but it just made more since that way to me. I think it felt like it made the aloe more potent in the mixture since some of it was not soaked up into the seeds.

      @@ayres6727 buy an inexpensive strainer (the handheld ones with the small holes). Mix all the ingredients together and let sit for the amount of time you wish. Then strain the ingredients in a container. Then use a funnel to pour mixture in the container you want to store the mixture in. Dollar tree has strainers and funnels

    Hey love, could you make a video on recipes or things you do to minimise frizzing? I feel like no matter my routine of olive oils and almond oils, tea and coffee rinces and now aloe, I feel like my curl definition is just completely lacking. Even tho my hair is much longer, ever time I run oil through, it just bursts into frizz and it hurts my dreams 😂any advice on natural concoction would be awesome. Thank you xx

    Love you curly proverbs! Does this refresher also work for straight hair? I'm one of your not so many followers (it seems) that doesn't have curls :/ maybe to prevent breakage or split ends? Or it might be too heavy for someone like me?

    • @CurlyProverbz

      Laflaqua 2901 it hydrates and Def helps with breakage and strengthens no matter the hair type. Ideal to spray before styling or it you find it is too heavy eliminate the gylercin or use as a pre shampoo treatment along with a fav oil X.
