I'm using the newest fitness planner from @TheHappyPlannerChannel as my 'catchall', and adding in lots of other goodies - journaling pages, budget filler, and love for letters planner to use for faith journaling! Yesss ma'am!! Haha, you must have heard my legit-excitement as the clear dividers were going in! And totally - I really love that the monthlies for many of the fall release planners are the same so we can mix and match like this!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am new to Franken Planning and I just purchased a few Happy Planners and I was struggling with how to combine the dividers that I like with the monthly inserts. I also have different layouts in each planner so you are definitely going to help me save time when I put mine together this week. Definitely subscribing to follow your planning journey this year.

I love how you included the goal section from the monthly layout. This is a layout I love but never used it to its potential. I may have to purchase because a light bulb went off when u did your setup!!

@@thejoyfulsojourn I frankenplan as well. I have 2 that I do - one for personal and one for my business (I own a bakery). They are both classic size. For personal, I have the In Every Season Classic vertical for my catch all, the undated budget planner from the Winter release, the Foodie Classic Meal Planner for my wellness, the Gratitude Journal from the Grateful Heart Be Happy Box plus I ordered the extension and filler paper for the Let Your Heart Wander set. For my business, I have a lined vertical (not sure of name, but it is a black cover with Start Living Your Dreams on it), this is for my daily schedule, I am using parts of the planner from the Plant A Happy Life Be Happy Box for my social media, then I do a bunch of custom pages for my financials. I'm still waiting for my order from the winter release (takes longer to get to Canada) plus some extras I ordered from Cloth & Paper. I can't wait to finish setting it all up!

I really like your setup, it makes more sense to me than just pulling whole months from 8 different planners and calling that a frankenplanner. The bujo sections in the back are also my kind of setup, how do people live without them? 😄
Maybe you could put your goals between the "The Goods" and "Dailies" dividers.

I love watching your videos. You are so creative! I was wondering if you have a good source for plain dot grid paper? I'm having trouble finding any from Happy Planer. The couple of times I have found dot grid, it is highly decorated and not the best for bullet journal type spreads.
Hi Jennifer!! Thanks for the encouragement, and so glad you’re enjoying my videos!! There are two Happy Planner Journals that have some plain (no color, no doodles) dot grid filler paper in them and that’s what I use! The currently available one is the “colorful leopard classic guided journal” and it’s on the happy planner website and hobby lobby! Half the pages have bullet-journal type boxes pre-printed on them, and the other half are totally clean dot grid sheets!
Outside of that, Janes Agenda has dot grid punch paper! The link in my description box is a 15% off first purchase if you want to go that route!

I would make a goals page to cover the other half of the month you didn't like between your currently pages then you could use all the pages instead of glueing it together and losing the original currently. I would also put the word of the year behind the goods tab. So you see it everytime you go to the other section.

Hello! Classic discs! For me, the expander rings are too bulky for everyday use.
Just found your channel and was wondering: You have a pr of tweezers in your Amazon page and another in your " Planner tools" and was wondering which you prefer? I only need one for stickers. And does it matter if they are Meriam as one isn't? Thx
Hello!! I don't think I realized the links were different...unless I did that because my original tweezers sold out and so I posted an alternative. I'll check it out! In the meantime, as long as they are extra long, you can't go wrong!

You could switch the two “extended currently” pages and glue them together covering the daily tasks page so you don’t have to cover the regular currently page

I'm new to Fraken Planning and using the Happy Planner. I love your setup, however it seems like in order to get my planner the way I want it I'll probably end up purchasing at least four planners....
Hi Tina, welcome to the community! Frankenplanning means using multiple planners, so it won't be ideal for everyone.
They key is just finding a system that works for you!
Oh! I should also say that if you're willing to wait for a sale, or clearanced items, it becomes more affordable to use multiple planners with patience. For example, I think Michaels has planners 50-60% off right now. You can also find clearanced planners that are partially expired, which can be re-dated with stickers! So there are ways to find good deals on planners if you decide you want to frankenplan multiple planners into one.
What if you put your word of the year behind your clear ‘the goods’ divider?
I think that’s the place it’ll go!
Ok if you wanted those dashboards in your monthly you have the planner pages to put them just after your monthly layout. You could take both monthly pages from the vertical layout, (not just the divider) and then tape the monthly planner dashboard pages in between the first vertical page of the month and the right monthly page from the fitness. Does that make sense?
So it would go divider, monthly spread page from vertical planner *turn page* vertical page glued to the first dashboard from the monthly planner next page from monthly planner glued to the monthly to the fitness planner *turn page* first week of fitness. Planner.
Did that make sense at all????

Yes I see! I’m not sure I want to connect/marry the monthly dashboard to the inside section, but that is a GREAT idea if I change my mind!! I hadn’t thought to take the entire monthly layout from the vertical planner, which would allow me to do that!!
@@thejoyfulsojourn I am with you - I thought I would hate it - but I did it and it kept me from frankenplanning as much. It really is like I have two monthlies. One dated and a focus area.
