OMG... "You might just need a planner...to plan... when you plan... in your planners." Love it. I actually created a spreadsheet for which planners I'm getting next year. Thanks for all of this, Heather! :)
Heather. Out of all the planner ideas from others, I think that you are the best ever !! Full of ideas without a lot of fluff! I get bored in about 2 minutes and want to fall asleep watching others but hold your head up, you're the BEST !!!
First of all, we all need to stop to appreciate just how talented and creative you are!!!! Amazing. Be very proud. Next, I want you to stop apologizing in you videos!!! We love you. And last, YOU ARE AN ENABLER. I am definitely planning all of the ways that I am going to use different planners. I was fighting myself on adding planners to my ever growing stack. Great video. Please keep posting.
I think “planner people” have just found a process that works for them in their life. Expanding your use of planners is a GOOD thing - a logical way to build on what works for you and be more successful in even more areas of your life. I say use as many planners as you like, and be thankful to have something that serves a purpose and brings you pleasure every day. 😊
I am just a resident in a nursing home facility here in Texas. My thing is I love doing artwork, bible journaling, scripture writing, reading and studying. I also exercise, set goals, and journaling for mental health, and gratitude journal.
I seriously just took notes for the entire duration of this video. Your videos are like mini classes that are super useful. Thank you for investing your time in helping others.
Also a sports planner for us athletes. Or a literature planner full of sections like books I've read/books I want to read, authors I want to learn about...a create planner, I use one for ideas for ways to decorate/organize my house. My best friend/roommate have a co planner where we write down chores, things we need to buy, who pays what and when, and then we have a cute lil section we use for encouraging each other or a joke or just an I love you bestie note.
LOL I’ve got 3 planners. 1- Homeschool mom/teacher planner, classic happy planner ~ the catch all one (Frankenplanned of course), & a BIG happy planner that is my “newest” addition... my financial planner that includes meal planning, inventory lists, savings, debt pay downs, etc. Yeah, I am all about meshing them together... by “themes” lol or at least my own theme! I definitely started with one (well, 2 because of the homeschooling lol) that was my catch all. & have firmly moved into 3 planners.
Failing to plan is planning to fail! Thanks for all the great tips! I am going to combine a bunch of catagories into one b/c mine is a sort of Scrapbook planner also. My kids are out of the home and I am 68; still work, worship and craft, so never a dull moment! TFS!❤
Hey Heather! Thank you for enabling our planner addictions! I am using eight happy planners now: catch all, purse, memory, fitness, budget, business, journal and gratitude. But I can't wait to get trendsetter ...and maybe goal getter, too. 😊
OMG I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!! I joined your live, and the grocery planner, baby book, event planner, and the planner planner were all my ideas!!!!! Love you so much Heather!! Thank you for always including your followers😊
In June I started a “reflection” planner...A little bit of an opposite use, but at the end of each day I record in bullet points what I did for “ME”, “HOME”, “WORK”, and “AND...”. It was my way of validating that I was being productive even when I felt I wasn’t, and also of seeing in a very visual way if I was balancing my time in the way I wanted. It was also good because I didn’t need to think about “what should I write?”, because the content was based on my day. I was also able to insert little codes ( e.g. ⬇️ ⚡️⚡️ meant low energy) so I could track moods etc. That process, done EVERY DAY, got me into writing and now I have extended to more uses of planners.
Yes reflection is so important. I do reflect but I need to write it down as well so I can remember things to continue my progress and things to discontinue that are not serving me well! Excellent idea!
I'm using an undated mini Happy Planner just to write in everyday as I wait for Baby to come, and then after he's born to write something every single day about my new life as a Mommy. I think it will be my most treasured journaling project! :)
I found myself with a hobby of buying planners and trying to figure out what to do with them all and now I have some wonderful ideas! Thank you so much! Literally cackled at the planner for planning LOL
Heather, if you see this comment, just caught this old video and I love it. Lots of ideas for the 20 Happy Planners I fell in love with and are sitting on my shelf. Tomorrow I will start my Home Planner.
Love it! And for those who don’t want to use one planner per idea, travelers notebooks are great, as well. You can have multiple books inside of one book and still be organized
May I also suggest an “entertainment club”? Like a book club but you meet up with peeps that watch the same tv shows, movies etc and talk about the past week’s episodes! I have an online meetup group and we discuss The Walking Dead; like “what just happened?” 😱😱 “did you see that bush move? Who do you think was watching?” Anyway, it’s a great way to meet new ppl that have some of the same interests as you.
Started watching your videos 3 weeks ago...broke down and bought my first Happy Planner today. Starting off with a mini because I already have a different company's horizontal planner as a catch-all planner with uncool homemade trackers. I appreciate this video, and all of the other videos of yours that i have seen. I am inspired! Your video gave me so many ideas on how I can use my first mini! Looking forward to eventually converting solely to Happy Planners.
I love the video and all the great ideas! I started a "makeup" planner...meaning I track when I washed my makeup brushes, when I bought my makeup, and when to throw it out. I even track the shades of lipstick (I tend to buy multiple of the same shade bc they're so pretty). I track if I liked or disliked a certain brand so I know not to buy it again. Even perfume I want to try...the ideas are endless! 😙
Needed to review this video. Someone mentioned a garden planner! That would have been great for me back in the day when I used to garden. In the meantime I think I need to get a mini for car maintenance. I can never remember what I already had done on the car and when it's due for an oil change, etc. I never get tired of your videos!
Thank you so much for this information. I am new to planning. As I was listening to your list of 50....believe it or not I thought of something I would like to track and that's a NEW WORD A DAY journal. To expand my vocabulary. :)
This is great for foreign languages too if you're learning any!!! It can also easily just be included in your main planner if you don't want to have a separate planner for this
I use the Wellness Expansion Pack as my Faith/Gratitude Planner, my Squad Goals Classic is dedicated to my kids plans and I use the Student Planner as my Fitness & Personal Health planner
I love the idea of a TV & movie planner. I planned on buying the monthly happy planner & using it as my movie, TV, & book planner. So I could track everything I’m watching, wanting to watch, movies I want to see, & books I want to read/am reading.
Joann had that mini seasonal planner STILL in 2020 on clearance. I had been eyeing it BUT after I saw this video, I bought it!! And it is SUPER cute, I love the seasonal decorations on the monthly dividers and monthly spread. I watched a video you did on how to re-date them so it is now a project for me!!! Thanks for all your videos!
Love all these planner ideas and bring them down to one planner and use tabs !!! When your on a small budget 1 planner and lots of tabs /dividers in it. I love carrying mine around in my purse ... thanks for all your ideas there very useful!!!!
I have a classic for my own personal use, the horizontal faith planner for my faith, the classic size fitness planner, the big planner for my sewing projects, classic for holiday/events and my husband turned an extra classic planner I had into a planner he could use, and my son made a mini for school. So yeah we are a planning family.
70! WOOOOWWWW!!! I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do now lol! I have an 18 month classic happy planner right now I haven't touched because I have 2 2018 ones I want to get and I want to get Trendsetter. So I'm trying to figure out my game plan. Thanks for the ideas!
Thank you so much for this great video. I have never used a planner in my life!!! Yes, I never even thought about it. I guess I was to busy to plan. I just went with the flow. Looking back, life would probably have been much easier if I had organized it with a planner (or many planners for the many aspects of my active life.) I am in to album making and cardmaking. I have been taking classes in a store that offers Bible Journaling classes. Boy, those gals have a great time!!! I started looking at Bible journaling on the craft stores online and found the planner section. (Light bulb came on. LOL) I am disabled to the point that I recently fell and broke my back. I have now been bedridden for two weeks with many weeks to go. I have been having myself a real pity party. I got to thinking one day that maybe I should get a planner to keep up with appointments etc, because my memory has been affected by what all is going on with my health. After seeing your video, I realize that I actually really need to incorporate several planners in my life such as the small business as my hubby and I operate a small business, a Catch-All planner, an inspirational planner which I am planning to include inspiration, gratitude, Bible study and a prayer journal (I'm thinking I need a Big planner for this one.), and then a Journal-type planner that I use to keep up with how I felt that day, any medical needs and any testing I did medically. I have also decided to give my daughters and to-be daughter in law planners for Christmas. The daughter-in-law to be I am adding the Wedding Planner pack into her planner and one daughter is into fitness so I am adding that to her planner and I am giving each the budget pack also to help them keep up with their finances. I will add that I am NOT happy in that I fell in love with that Daydreamer classic planner and it is already sold out everywhere. They need to make a second run of the Daydreamer line. Thanks for the many great ideas...Denise
I already have three planners.. Wedding, Work and Home but I've bought three more that I reeeaally want to use. So glad you made this video! The timing is amazing! Super useful! Thank you!
I have an EC petitie monthly planner as a monthly to do at glance that I use as a companion to my bullet journal. My bullet journal doubles as a month dashboard, weekly to do, and daily journal entries. I have an EC gratitude petite planner for my daily gratitude. Then I have another EC petitie monthly as my at glance monthly budget overview and then I have a lined notebook to track detailed records of each month. Lastly I use an EC daily petitie planner as a mood tracker. Seems like a lot but with bipolar and ADHD is keeps me on track since everything is so focused and has a specific purpose!
I love the "planner for your planners" idea. Are you Presbyterian? LOL, I am, and I really felt that one. :) Thanks for all your ideas and hard work on these videos for us.
oh! love how you did the holiday planner. I kind of did this last year in a binder, I had a breakdown of what I was cooking and all of the recipes. I had a daily schedule so I made sure I started everything at the right time.
I just got the mini fitness planner and I’m planning on using it to track my diabetes. So my meals and total carbohydrates and my blood glucose level and also my insulin. Also help me to eat healthier.
You ARE such an ENABLER! LOL I only have 4 planners. 1 for work; 1 catch All, both classic size. 1 mini personal, which covers both work & home on the go; and the mini fitness planner. That's all I have.... for now. I use the fitness planner to plan meals & track my fitness, (as, I believe, it is meant to do. Boring, I know, but for me, it's functional. LOL) Watching your video has given me the urge to buy at least one more planner! I really like the idea of the "Fake" planner, as I am STILL just learning to decorate and haven't quite gotten up the courage to "let loose" on my functional planners. I think a "fake" planner will allow me to do just that. I have to mull it over. (Ok, maybe it's not going to be a lot of "mulling," but I'd like to at least "pretend" I have to think about it.) I enjoy watching your videos....they're very inspiring. So, thank you.
Heather, this was fantastic! I loved all of the ideas. I listed them in my phone, so when I head to Michaels, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's, I can remember which planner ideas I want to use most. Thanks for sharing. I LOVE your channel. You are such a sweetheart! God Bless!
I love your video so far I already use a "pursonal" journal for when I'm out of the house. I quickly jot down appointments, notes, quick todos, and food and blood sugar readings. At home I use a classic size for recording everything. I use the extension fitness pack and for the month we are on I put the pages right behind the current month I have a divider that I like that I didn't put the month on and added lots of inspirational stickers on I just move it and add the next month of pages to record on. I do the same in the mini but I usually rush that. In the classic I add stickers rewrite neatly. Most of the fitness pages are for recording breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. I also use a piece of graph paper to track some health stuff. An idea from bulet journaling. I also use a big planner for memory journaling but I also like the idea of maybe a combination of a horizontal layout too for additional writing space. There are also the half page inserts for more writing. I love the ideas of lettering, adding my own art work I do Zen and adding what I'm grateful for. I'm especially excited about doing a pet planner for my cat's it's a great idea to keep track of Vet visits. Ect. Pictures, stories and more. We already have the recipe and budget planner for 2018. Well For what's dated. Thanks for sharing. You are very creative and you seem to love this and have a lot of fun with it. It shows!
This video is great, Heather! So many ideas! I used to be more of a "catch all" planner kind of person and now I have a Budget, Meal planner, and Planner for my stepkids. This video definitely gave me ideas on how I can better utilize planners and be more organized in 2018. Thanks so much for sharing! :)
I have been a ONE planner girl up until now. I'm going to try three planners for 2018!! One for work, a mini for on the go and as my brain dump notebook and a classic (horizontal) for home and personal! I'm so excited and I decided to try it this way this year because I seriously could not decide on just one.
I was up to 3 planners. Cut down to one big. I saw this video and ignored it for a week. I’m half was through and I’m already looking at which classic I want to add for my “whatever I want” planner 😂😂😂 I knew I shouldn’t have watched this video!!! Lmao
I wish I would have saw this back in May... but that’s ok! This was great! I have a big planner for everything... a classical fitness for foot tracking, steps, water and exercise; also I have a classic size that I combine as a faith planner and grocery list/meal planning.
I'm a bit late to the planning scene but I just watched this and you have inspired me haha. I'm doing a planner for everyday stuff but have decided to do one for my cross stitch/crochet hobby, my medical needs and my daughter's medical tracker too. I'm sure I will find more reasons for more planners. Thank you! I love your videos
OMG ideas, ideas. I am planning on taking two planners and putting them together, from the New Happy planner Girl collection. Day dreamer and the monthly( sorry forgot the name) for my personal everyday stuff and the other for work.....I currently use a big HP for my family stuff, and I have a health and fitness in one planner that I created from the "Busy Day planner", then I have a sewing and crochet project planner from Simplicity 12 month planner that was just released at Hobby Lobby.. Both these planner have nine disc and I was able to use the Happy Planner hard clip on covers for both. I can also use their inserts for both... I know I could have use other Happy Planners and I will, but these two caught my eye.. Now I am thinking a mini for my errands or "PURSE-onal Planner love that idea, this will be my first mini.. Thank you for all the ideas it brings a new light, on why we should ALL have multiple x multiple planners.. lol
Heather, These are some great tips👍🏽 I have planners and sometimes I don’t get to use or fill every page before the end of the year. I had looked at some videos how to use unused planners. after watching your video I decided to use some of your ideas to try to fill my 2020 planner. I have a Trina Turk daily and monthly planner. A lot of the daily pages are blank. I typed a list and tabbed those sections off to use for different things which applies to my overall routines. Thanks for the ideas!! 👍🏽📖 📖
Hi Heather, While you have a lot of ideas, the Baby Book really caught my eye. My daughter got married last year and they want a family (no news yet). I was just wondering if there is a non-dated planner we could use for this purpose, so it could start on the day the baby is born. No rush on response, although they are going on a get-away for their first anniversary (who knows what will happen).
Thanks for this video! I've never been a multiple planner person. But all these awesome releases have me racking my brain trying to come up with a good reason to buy 2 planners (I have a list of 5).
Needed this! I'm definitely buying more than done, especially with the new layouts. I love the idea of using the horizontal layout for journaling! I tend to run away from the horizontal..never even consider buying one.
Thrilled to see someone acknowledging that mutiple planners are okay. I have 5 (?) because each contains enough information that I couldn't put them all into one. It's almost impossible to fit dailies into one planner. that's 2 pgs for each monthly 'month on two page' plus 183 Daily Pages. If you want to add in note pages, dashboards, etc... they won't all fit in one planner! I tried only putting 1/2 of a year in the planner but when the time came to swap those out for the 2nd 1/2 of the year, I couldn't find the rest of the inserts! So now, my entire year must fit in the confines of a single planner from the beginning. Creative Blessings!
Lol great video Heather! I just got a sewing planner for the first time! It's my main hobby. I also have a catch all planner for every day. Thanks for all your ideas!
This video os absolutely awesome Heather! Thank you for putting so much effort into it. I am student, virtual assistant, blogger and planner addict trying to figure why and how I made need another planner. This video helped me to. establish my reasons and I am so happy!
Loved this video! You definitely gave me more ideas for how I can use my Happy Planner! I wrote bullet points for each idea in my notebook & made a ✅ check mark for the ideas I want to add to my current planner sections as well as an * asterisk for ideas I want to do in the future, for example: wedding, fertility tracker/medical, memory planner, small business/work planner, & social media planner section. Thanks for these amazing ideas!
You have really and truly covered every form of planning. I think I will do the tv and movie planner. I currently just have a basic planner. Oh, and I like the car and holiday planner as well. All of the ideas are great. Thank you!
Heather you are adorable, this is my favorite video you've done yet! Thanks for justifying my planner-oholic life! I was looking for a reason to grab a BIG happy planner, that may be my home planner, volunteering journal, or small business planner.
Thanks for all of the ideas...and the permission to buy multiple new planners! I already have a "FrankenPlanner" made for 2018, which I love, but I "need" a new mini for my "purseonal" planner, I want the monthly Trendsetter style and I have decided to start a nightly gratitude journal, so I definitely need another mini for this. So...we'll see what I end up with!
So nice to put the voice with a face now! Thanks for this video, waiting for the glam girl and getting a big one and was trying to figure out how to use them all. I will have a total of 4. Lol
The paper studio planner reminds me that I have a big happy planner who reminds me of my Erin Condren planet who reminds me that I have my agenda planner who reminds me of my personal A6 ring binder who reminds me back to my paper studio planner 🤣🤣🤗🤗. Great video
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Wallace Nehemiah I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hey Heather! I'm stoked that you're a born-again Christian like myself! You said that you are teacher. What grades do you teach and what state? Other ideas for planner could be: Bird planner, Bible and scripture planner, Craft planner, Skincare planner, Flower and plants planner, Art planner, Book planner, RUclips planner, Facebook planner, Instagram planner, TikTok planner, Twitter planner, Email planner, Appointment planner, Devotional planner, Gift planner, Things I Want to Buy planner, Bucket list planner, etc. I hope and pray that you, your family and friends are staying safe and healthy as well! We are doing okay here. We don't have the Corona virus but my mom (Patricia) has very high blood pressure and her arm and leg is tingling (she has been on several meds and nothing works pretty much), and I am dealing with sciatica pain on my right side. (at times the pain is at a level 10.) Please pray for us Heather and everyone who reads this! Thanks so much! I am also a newbie to your channel and I hope to stick around a lot more in the near future! God bless you all!
This is an awesome video! So many helpful ideas! I love love love what you did with your travel planner! I also appreciate the planner planner. I have a travelers notebook where I’m planning out what I’m going to do for next year, what I think I want to buy and I need and might hopefully work!
5 for me for 2018 and the rest xmas , bday and valentines gifts lol! thanks for sharing and I cannot just choose one planner girl. ive tried it nope didnt work! have an awesome planning day
I love you! I was so confused and obviously wanted a happy planner for school but didn’t know if I should add my fitness to that one and thanks to this video I will make my own fitness planner (using a happy planner ofc) and one for school and personal to dos THANK YOU
Alot of great ideas! Very positive and creative! Did you mention a budget planner? Although that would probably fall under goals. Thanks for the video and sharing all your hard work! 👍☺️
I'm doing it! I'm getting a additional Happy Planners. I'm getting the Trendsetter in the classic size for finances. I think a mini will be awesome as a gratitude Journal. While I kind of like the BHP for my catch all, so few of the sticker packs are made for it. After 2018 I think I'm switching that to the classic size. By 2019 I will have at least 3 in that size. My holiday planner will be a DIY in the BHP size. It's a good thing my fella told me I can get a new desk, I need to hide some of these so he doesn't flip out. lol
Thanks a lot for this video. Im just starting to get into planning and everything on youtube is so overwhelming so this is a great video for me as a beginner to know what kinds of planners there are and where to start 💜
I'm an oddball I think because I've just started back in November 2019 to use happy planners. I adore them even though I'm a transman. I have four planners and one expansion pack that I use but I'm looking at getting another to for weekly menu planning. I have two months in one that I fricken plan I think its called. I started a Pinterest and a RUclips that is just for my planner stuff. Thanks for being awesome.
OMG... "You might just need a planner...to plan... when you plan... in your planners." Love it. I actually created a spreadsheet for which planners I'm getting next year. Thanks for all of this, Heather! :)

There's a horizontal faith planner???

JAMIE MITCHELL lmao this is so true. I end up pausing her videos all the time so I can jot down notes 😆

We're empty nesters and we're trying to save money/not spend extra by not going out all the time. SO...I just might make a TV & Movie Planner!
Same here. Maybe call it Entertainment and include free or cheap concerts, library talks, sports, etc. Thanks for getting me thinking!

I like the idea of using the monthly spread for meal planning because I don't usually fill that out much!

Great Ideas. Love your vudeos.
tanishalynne would u show how you use the big planner for sewing projects
Every episode puts me deeper in debt. Guess I better get a budget planner, too! 😂
You should do a holiday planner setup video, I would love to know more!
Wow...lots of good ideas! I currently use a mini, classic, & recipe planner. I really like the idea of a gratitude planner/journal.
oh! love how you did the holiday planner. I kind of did this last year in a binder, I had a breakdown of what I was cooking and all of the recipes. I had a daily schedule so I made sure I started everything at the right time.
So shouldn't have watched this video. I am easily enabled. LOL
God Bless!
Is there an update on this topic? Sooo many new layouts and I would love to hear your recommendations for sizes and layouts to use! ❤️
Thank you for all the ideas it brings a new light, on why we should ALL have multiple x multiple planners.. lol
Love the outfit log idea! Never even thought about that. Thanks, Heather!
Nice to put a face to the beautiful writing
Yeah!!! Reasons to get all the beautiful planners!! Thanks Heather!!
I am setting up my " planner" planner right now. lol.
Love you Heather, you are making me think of all the ways I need more planner. Thanks for all the ideas.
I definitely will be getting two new planners: one for journaling (like you suggested) and a new mini for my purse! Thanks for this video!!
I'm addicted to HP! Now I have more reasons to buy more planners. I love "A planner... to plan...when you plan... in your planners"!
Thank you so much for these! I bought 4 planners for this year and needed to figure out something for them all. This was super helpful!
I tend to run away from the horizontal..never even consider buying one.
t o r i i love my horizontal. Karynalovestoplan uses them & decorates them too.
What a great set of ideas! I can’t wait to try some (all?!?) of them. Thanks, Heather.
Thanks girl! ;-)
Thanks for the shout-out on the PURSE-onal planner. ;) This video is so great!
And for the kids' quote book lol
Gretchen with all the great ideas!!
Oh wow...these are such great ideas! Thank you for making this video. Now, I've got a ton of extra ideas to write on a slow week! You are fabulous!

So nice to put the voice with a face now! Thanks for this video, waiting for the glam girl and getting a big one and was trying to figure out how to use them all. I will have a total of 4. Lol

I hope Happy Planner comes out with pregnancy and wedding sticker books. So necessary!!
They have a pregnancy book now! But still no wedding sticker book
The paper studio planner reminds me that I have a big happy planner who reminds me of my Erin Condren planet who reminds me that I have my agenda planner who reminds me of my personal A6 ring binder who reminds me back to my paper studio planner 🤣🤣🤗🤗. Great video

Thank you for all the ideas. I myself have 22 HP, and wanting more. LOVE THE HAPPY PLANNERS!!!
This is an awesome video! So many helpful ideas! I love love love what you did with your travel planner! I also appreciate the planner planner. I have a travelers notebook where I’m planning out what I’m going to do for next year, what I think I want to buy and I need and might hopefully work!

As if I needed more reasons to buy more planners!!!! Uuughhhh.. but really thank you for this video
Love these ideas...especially the small business planner!
I got a Mini to keep track of Crochet projects that I'm doing. And to have a place to put pattern corrections in!
Kamie Feagle, I'm a knitter, and I'm always looking for a better way to track WIPs and stitch counts. Another great reason to buy another planner!
Krystal Smith any excuse right!!
I love all your ideas!! Thank you for the inspiration!!
Love this video, I needed ideas for multiple planners😊
I would love to see how to make the Christmas planner LOVE that!!!!
i bought the citris cover planner and i love it. its my first
Alot of great ideas!
Im just starting to get into planning and everything on youtube is so overwhelming so this is a great video for me as a beginner to know what kinds of planners there are and where to start 💜
awesome. Wow those are a lot of great ways to use the happy planner. I just got inspired to use two ideas. thank u heather. Lol
Yay! The first view 😄Thank you for such an awesome video from a fellow teacher in Brunei. Enable me 💛
I'm an oddball I think because I've just started back in November 2019 to use happy planners.
Ya a face to a name awesome !!!! Teacher planner would be interested in seeing that please !!!
So I think I am going to get a mini (lol) to plan out decluttering my house and then rennovating. Thanks for the great ideas!! Great video!!
BETH ACHEY I found two Happy Planners at Wal-Marts today. Yahoo!
