Hello! Yes the punches all line up! But of course, keep in mind that if you put the half letter inserts (8 holes) in the HP Classic (9 holes), they won't cover the full page so you won't get that cool layering effect.
Half letter is my favorite; I have been using it (and Jane's Agenda) for almost three years now. I hope this system works well for you. By the way, you can flip your dollar divider so it is closer to the top to keep all of your tabs together.
Diana I think the half letter size would be great!!! They can be expensive to build up (ie, you can't buy one prefab), so maybe start with the organized planner to make sure you like the size first, and then decide if you want to start buying all the elements of a discbound (cover, inserts, etc)!
The admin paper that has the monthly calendar on it would’ve been perfect if it had been flipped to where you view it horizontal rather than vertical. More room to write etc. Not gonna lie… you’re stating a huge case in my head to let myself go to the half letter 8 disc! Agghhh. The mini for me is too small and the classic I just find it’s too big to cart around. I need something that will work for me. I think I may mess online and see what kind of inserts I can create… you got my brain ticking! 😂 Loving the set up. 💗
I’m not a fan of the horizontal view, so I wish they had made the bulleted/lined sections lower to the bottom and let the calendar take up more space! Basically like what HP has done with their monthly filler 🤗 Not gonna lie… I think you’d like the half letter….😎
I really wish I had watched this before I placed an order for 6 pockets! I will buy from Amazon from now on and thank you for that. Now did you know you can buy the fancy paper clips from amazon as well? I bought white and black flower paper clips 25 each for 10 bucks, where if you buy them from planner people like Jane or Fancy Plans they are 2-5 bucks for ONE!
Aw bummer! I did the same- bought a few in a shop and then later found the pack! Yesss! I pretty much always check Amazon now for little accessories just in case they’re on there!
Yessss! 8-disc half letter is my planner peace. It's the perfect size & I love that I can take stuff out & put stuff in with the discs that you can't do with the twin loop.

Glad you found me! I'm predominately Happy Planner classic, but also like bullet journals and now this Half Letter....it'll be interesting to see what we all decide on closer to 2023! I'll probably have a few different frankenplanners in different sizes haha! Janes Agenda stuff is really excellent quality and beautiful!

NIce setup! I set up my half letter a few weeks ago, and I love it! It is the sweet spot size! Mini HP is too small and the classic is too big!
