Having Brian Shaw training and competing in armwrestling would be awesome. The only questions are would he enjoy competing in armwrestling, and is it something he would want to pursue. Shaw can bench 400kg, deadlift 500 and have the strongest grip in the world and still Levan will peel his wrist like an onion. For sure Brian has very strong wrist, but if Derek can open it very slowly it's not naturally inhuman. I'd guess Brian will take some lessons and train until first noteable match where he gets crushed and stops his career.

it doesn't take 5 years to learn to arm-wrestle. It's not rocket science and the techniques are widely known. He has people who can show him all of it. You can get a real college degree in 4 years.. Be real .

Arm wrestling isn't about normal strength. I don't see Brian reaching anything good in this sport until 3-5 years full commitment.
