There are free printables too for grading I print one out for each school year for each child... a lot of the times I can find ones with what they need to learn...i.e. for pre k colors, shapes, letters, writing name, ect. It's a great guide if you are not following a specific curriculum. Also I keep a lot of their work books just in case we would ever be questioned by the state! I definitely prefer paper over computers but that is also an option!

I was able to find topics that interested my kiddos...i.e. dinosaurs or minecraft and come up with writing prompts that way... tell me how to build a home on minecraft would Be a demonstration paper. Or compare and contrast 2 of your favorite dinosaurs!
My fourth grader is very forgetful and struggles specifically in math. Can you recommend maybe a “fun” way of teaching/learning arithmetic? I personally love math and it’s easier for me to understand it, so maybe my way of teaching it is difficult for her… She loves geometry, but multiplication and division is still a struggle for her…
Some fun things that we did to help learn fourth grade math skills were multiplication songs, flash card races, and group work. First, it’s important that they memorize the basic facts. They need to be able to know the answer to a simple multiplication or division problem as quickly as possible. To help my children remember their multiplication tables, we looked on RUclips for songs. They found some silly ones with dancing cows and fire trucks. Whatever song they preferred, we watched and practiced everyday for two weeks. We also practiced with flashcards, timing every session and trying to beat the previous time. Every time we learned a new table, we added that set to the cards. I even set a very lofty goal for being able to answer all of the flashcards correctly within a certain time and offered a generous prize… Which they did achieve in time. This was motivation to keep learning and moving faster. Finally, we had a group work. I invited friends over and had them practice the multiplication and division flashcards together, gave them a time goal together, and offered a fun treat if they could do it in the time. The friends usually thought it was fun and again they were motivated for the prize. My big suggestion to you is just slow down. Often when we understand something quickly, we move forward too quickly to the next activity, thinking that our children understood it, when they perhaps, did not fully understand. If your children did not memorize simple multiplication tables enough to be able to do them within seconds, then they should not be doing larger multiplication, or division. It will be a struggle. Take time on the multiplication tables and division. It is the base of all math to come. Make sure they know it backwards and forwards, and it will make all your future math years much easier. Hi, my question is how can I create a 2yr transcript for my son? He has all his credits within the 2years. How do I create a 2 year high school homeschool transcript? Please help 🙏
I don’t know your state or the rules there. I also don’t know which colleges he is applying to and what their requirements are. I would simply list all of his classes in order with grades, credits earned, and year completed. To graduate, the important question is if they completed the graduation requirements. It is largely irrelevant when they were completed. I hope that helps.
Val Francis It is a homeschool style also known as interest-led education. It has a non-traditional format with lots of freedom to choose subjects and schedule.
I just got 30% on a science test and my parents are gonna kill me once they find out what do I do??????? do i just hope they dont notice my grade im so scared im actually crying right now
Are you homeschooled? If so, they are going to find out 😉 Honesty is always the best policy. Besides, things usually seem worse than they actually are. You might be surprised to find that it’s not really the end of the world.
