Nice progress ... if there is a plastic / metal box. Lay on the PEX connectors tend to break. and bury nylon (or unused plastic toys "-)) along the pipes a little above the pipes. So that you will know in the future where they are placed

When I sold my Moms House they updated to Pex as the Galvanized was like 60 years Old anyways. Also they put in an Inst heat system which was a No-brainer. Your doing a great Job.

I don't trust the pex B crimp. They don't allow it here for new construction. I recommend the pex A expandable with the compression rings.
Pex is so much easier to use!

Lets ALL Say this one TOGETHER...
    MEASURE and Layout ---EVERYTHING
Control Points, Points of Origin, Set Backs, TAG LINES, EASMENTS, Permitted and also HOME OWNER ( DETERMINED ) Requirements. etc.
A Physical , MENTAL , Paper and Online Versions to keep it al straight going forward.
Make this a SCHOOL Influenced PROJECT
    NO JOKE.
Get the Kids involved and then everyone will see how TRULY easy it is to pull it up and lay it out.
DO YOU KNOW your property LINE ( LOCATIONS) Feet Inches, TENTHS as in how SURVEYORS do it ( DAILEY) We took it to the Hundredths and also Thousandths for Calculation purpose's.
You and YOURS can stick with Inches and feet to be sure NO ONE is getting it to confused though ( O. K. ) ?!?!?!
Take some actual GRAPH PAPER. Use a Scale to equal so many squares EQUALS how many inches or feet ( As a Simple ) Catch All going into the deep end -still.
You got kids of all ages.
This is a GREAT way to Teach and Re-Teach EVERYONE to be Exactly on the same page.
A+B=C ( 1+2=3 ) Right Angles, PARALLEL lines. Squares, rectangles, Triangles ( Oh My )
Its all Quite Easy. How many inches dose ONE foot Make. How many Feet does a Yard come to then ? Not looking for acres at this point. Hope you have at least a coupe of longer tape measures. 25 ( 50 ) 100 ( 200 ) 300 is a Good Combination it total.
\Make it a FUN Learning Opportunity.
YOU will then always know where each power line. water hose, Sewage field and building platform will be in TOTAL . LOCATORS tape, Meatal and Wooden Stakes. Set Backs with Notes written on them
North South East west. Date and Time is always a GOOD reminder.
CHECK ( DOUBLE CHECK ) then CHECK it ALL over Again
    Each time
    Every Time
    YOUR WELCOME...

Pex A (uses expansion sleeves) uses connectors (e.g. T's and 90's) that don't restrict the flow of water like Pex B connectors do. It's available at most Home Depots at least as a special order. The plastic expansion sleeves of A will probably do better underground, too, than the metal crimp rings of B.

Pex is a smart choice. It has just enough flex to handle minor freeze/thaw cycles (if our frost line goes deeper than 18" on a super cold winter [doubtful, but good insurance]) and it tends to withstand a little bit of rock pressure punctures better than PVC, even though you're bedding in screened material. Great job. Looking forward to the concrete pour. Eli is a boss. A very hard worker like his dad.

I don't know all of the kid's names, but the wee one digging in with a huge shovel to do his share and then grabbing the blue 'pipe' and manhandling it and keeping his end out of the dirt stole my heart. Being a dad, those kinds of things just blow me away. Not that the other munchkins didn't do their share and more, but the youngster just hit my buttons. Thanks for a super episode.
