Even though the Rebels destroyed the second Death Star and both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine, the fight against the Empire is not over yet. This is the epic tale of what happened immediately after Return of the Jedi. We follow Shara Bey, the mother of The Force Awakens hero Poe Dameron, as she assists the Rebel Alliance in taking down the remnants of the Empire.

This is a re-release of Shattered Empire, but it is different in many ways. This version features a new voice actor for Luke, different music and some different sound effects, and it is also a bit more faster-paced. The original version felt a little too slow in retrospect. We hope you enjoy it!

I absolutely love these! They fill in so many blanks. I always imagine what happens after the endings of movies. And honestly Shara & Kes are the best to care for the tree.

I already have these comic books of this Shattered Empire story but watching and hearing it in voices this way was even better! I loved this story about how the rebels were mopping up the remaining Imperials after the Battle of Endor. Remember rebels: "Never Give Up! Never Surrender!"

So if i understand correctly: Naboo was a victim of operation Cinder "before" Battlefront 2 campaign story right?
Yes, this probably takes place up to a few days before Iden Versio and Del Meeko show up on Naboo

23:50 I hope that Ezra and Sabine, after they reunited at Naboo, will be sing this song to help Leia and Shara Bey freeing Naboo from storms awakening Anakin and Padme's spirits in the front of Iden Versio and Del Meeko, Sabine sings a wonderful voice like a beautiful ancient asian girl while Ezra play a multicolor flute like Link and Zelda sing this song to awakes the spirits in spirits tracks

Is that all there is to it or is there more to the Shattered Empire storyline? I'd like to see more. You all did an awesome job with this one.
This is the entire Shattered Empire series, but there are other pieces of media set in the same time period. The Aftermath trilogy of novels and the campaign for Battlefront II both deal with some of the same themes, and even tie into each other at certain key moments.
@@StarWarsAudioComics Ok, thanks for the info. It seems kinda weird that those trees didn't come into play in the sequel trilogy at all. I'd think with Poe's parents getting the trees, it would wind up having some influence on Poe. The ending to this series seems more like the end of an episode than the end of a whole series, you know? Oh well. I enjoyed what was there and you all did a great job with adopting the comic to video and voice.

Something doesn't fit. Here it's like Leia didn't know Poe's parents before this mission. 🤔 "Is this your husband, Lieutenant?" She knows Kes from missions prior to this series. I know this comic has been released before Soule's Star Wars (2020) but chronologically it doesn't make sense

I did the responsible thing today and told my daughter that she will never be anything like this that she will be married to a man and be given away at her wedding like an object that's why the father gives away his daughter like they're being sold. And like I always told her since she was five no one likes fat people especially no one loves them so if you want to have a husband and a life you need to stay in shape. These Star wars books are fun but these women flying x-wings is not practical when they can barely drive a car not even 1% of them are airline pilots yeah stop getting little girls hopes up when all they're going to do is end up on their back or their knees My wife can tell my daughter what that means.

pronunciation could use some work; but I will say, the invasion of PC culture into the Star Wars Universe is STRONG as the Darkside
The dark side is based off of right wing and conservative ideology. Palpatine was based off of Nixon. Vader literally rips "if you're not with me you're my enemy" from Bush's mouth. The Clone Wars and formation of the empire in the prequels are a critique of the conservative slaughter of civil rights in the name of national security and the flimsy and dishonest reasons for war in Iraq. The empire was based off of both American imperialism in Vietnam and elsewhere and Nazi Germany's nationalistic, militaristic, bigoted platform. You've got it all mixed up, friend.
