My late uncle worked for the company that built the B2 Spirit Stealth Bombers. He had retired from the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a liason between the company and the US Government. His work was so secret he couldn't talk to his family about his work
As far as I remember, we have 11, the UK has two, China has two, Italy has two, France has one, Spain has one, India has one, and Thailand has one. The Gerald F Ford has already been deployed, and it is the largest aircraft carrier built thus far. US Marine F-35's have been operating off the British carriers, and there were British sailors training on US carriers in preparation for their own carrier operations. Fun little fact as well; The USS Winston S. Churchill has a serving Royal Navy Officer as a navigator, and all of the crew wear a combined US/UK flag patch on their uniforms in lieu of just the US flag.
@ExUSSailor Yeah, I just happened to Google it really quick, so who knows how old that information was, lol. I forgot to mention Russia technically has one carrier, but it's in such dire straights that you may as well count it out.
And almost everyone else uses ski ramp carriers, hence they can only launch small lightly armed aircraft. The US carriers use steam catapults to launch aircraft other than the new Gerald R Ford class which uses an electromagnetic catapult, so they launch full size fully armed aircraft as e-2 hawkeyes so they have dedicated flying extremely powerful radar planes overhead as well!
@@TreyM1609 Yep you are totally correct! The B-2 Stealth Bomber i was talking about was the price point from 5 to 10 years ago so now the new b-21 raider would be more expensive with the new technology in it. Absolutely. which puts North Korea's Military Budget to more shame.
Great video, as an American I can verify that we are always involved with some war that's happening around the world. We aid Ukraine for political reasons but it's mainly a strategic military strategy. We aid Israel because almost a century ago Britain made two deals, one with Jews and one with Muslims agreeing to give them both the same Land(for their own country) if they help fight in WW2 but once the war ended Britain ran away from the deal and America picked up the tab, now we see the current results. We aid Taiwan for the same reasons as Ukraine.
The landing strip on carriers isn't very long. The carriers use electro magnetic force to launch the aircraft like a catapult. On landing they use hydraulics to arrest the aircraft. That is, they display cables that hook up to the aircraft and stop it.
The US has the most aircraft carriers, the UK has 2, Russia, France, and, Italy each have one carrier, and, India & China each have 3. However, all of these are smaller, and, far less capable than the US Navy's carriers.
The 2023 USA military budget was about 877 billion usd This represents approximately 38 percent of the total worldwide military expenditure.. one b2 spirit costs 2 billion usd and a new Gerald r Ford class super carrier has a price tag of 13 billion
Actually we have 20 aircraft carriers 11 are normal take off by catapult. And the others are run by the navy for the Marine Corps with short takeoff jets and vertical take off.
This video is like 7 to 8 years old now and a lot has changed since then Chinas naval forces had got bigger now and they now have more ships and added a few air craft carriers to their fleet. It's said that the United States has troubles now building more naval ships and is now getting behind China now in the naval category.
We'll have to check out a more up to date version, no doubt it'll be even more overwhelming! Technology moves quick and I can only imagine what is available these days.
Those new Chinese ships are not on par with even our older stuff actually. But the military industrial complex here loves to spread fear in order to get even more money. Look up Lockheed Martins profit sometime.
Russia has one aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov, which has been under repair since 2018. The ship's return to service is uncertain, and some say that Russia technically has no aircraft carriers.
This video must be 20 years old. Some of the information is outdated. A new carrier, the Gerald Ford is in operation since 2017 at a cost of $13 billion.
A little late for all these vids don't you think...? And I'm pretty sure you both already seen them all and are just fake reacting for the views since they're so popular.
You'd definitely know if we were fake reacting, my acting skills are very lacking. You're right, some of the videos are old, but they're also suggested/recommended in our comments and we're trying to fulfil the requests where possible. Apologies if you didn't like the video but thank you for watching! :)

There are a bunch of military videos that have "Don't Mess with the USA" in the title. It's pretty disgusting. It's like making a video about a man who serially abuses women titled "Why Women Shouldn't Mess with Rick." Nobody is messing with us. We're the abusers of the world. All of these videos are obnoxious.

India & China are both up to 3 now. However, China is having lots of issues with their older, Soviet surplus ship.

@@Longhauler85 Is that the one named Admiral Kusnetsev? (spelling may be slightly off.)

One B-2 Stealth Bombers costs more then the entire North Korean Military Budget!
Whoa..
And we have 20 of them after 1 crashed due to pilot error
That’s not counting the new b-21 raider

We have a new class of Aircraft Carriers called the Gerald R. Ford Class. One is fully operational and one more is in the testing stage.
This is the old version they updated this. There is a new version from 2024.

What they meant is that besides us in the U.S. the British are the only other people with Nuclear Powered aircraft carriers.

Only the Gerald R Ford uses Electro magnetic Catapults the Nimitz class use Steam Catapults
The greatest Air Force in the world is the US Air Force…. The 2nd best is the US Navy! MURICA!
We do have an army of Karens as well. We save them for repelling invaders.
The last line of defence? :)
Actually the law dictates that the navy have at least eleven aircraft carriers
The reason most countries don't have carriers is they are very expensive to operate. Most countries can't afford that.
This video is already obsolete. We've advanced quite a bit since this video was made.

At distance a stealth plane is apparently a bumble bee. As it gets closer it gets easier to detect. Stealth is a little hard to explain.
Noted! :)
By the time it shows up as bigger than a bumblebee on a radar, it's already fired its missile or bomb, and it's turning around to leave.
