Things I think. 1. If this game takes place in 1979 I think it’s possible that we may see Fredbear’s family diner possibly as an Easter egg or as part of the games story. 2. The box and puppets theme makes me think that the character of the puppet/marionette was around during the fallfest carnival/circus stuff. 3. The clown looking animatronic could possibly be a court jester or some kind of jack in the box. 4. I think it’s possible we might play as either William Afton or Henry Emily during secret of the mimic. 5. If there was a fire that occurred during the fallfest perhaps something associated with it is what caused William to become the way he is and go down his road of serial murders. 6. I think the Puppet/Marionette, Fredbear, Springbonnie, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Balloon Boy, Sun/Moon, Circus baby and Carnie were all the characters who originated from this fallfest circus/carnival.
I'm 100% sure we'll be playing as Cassie's dad. There's still 3 other candidates for me tho: 1. the crying child 2. Chica bully 3. Edwin The crying child is a good option because we haven't seen much of him in a long time, and steel wool has teased him having some sort of importance on Twitter a couple of times. Chica bully is also an option because from what we've seen, the first era of FNAF showed us Michael afton, as the foxy bully, Help wanted 2 showed us about Bonnie Bully, Cassie's dad, and into the pit most likely showed us the story of Freddy Bully, Oswald's dad. We're only missing chica bully. And Edwin because of course he created the the mimic.
It is genuinely insane to me that you and many others have been able to make videos that are longer than 10 minutes on the 30 second mimic I’m excited for the game but there’s just so little info we got it’s impressive to me
@RyeToast One thing I haven't seen a lot of people talk about the teaser is that the year 1979 is the same year that Fredbear's Family Diner is implied to open in the novels. So, like the MCI happening in 1985 in the novels, frights, and seemingly the games, I can see Fredbear's potentially opening in 1979 in more than one timeline and potentially, this new game will show us the downfall of a Fallfest due to a fire, and the start of Fredbear's Family Diner.
The Mimic saved the post Pizza sim fnaf lore for me. I really hated the idea of Afton coming back again and retreading the same tried haunted animatronics story. The idea of a decade old hostile AI that has become obsessed with Afton and his crimes is so cool to me. Scott has always said he tends to take things in a more sci-fi direction and I’m all for it
Finally someone who feels the same. I see a lot of people say that the mimic ruined modern fnaf for them, but for me it was the opposite. This goofy endoskeleton singlehandedly made me care about fnaf again after security breach, and now I’m more invested in the series than I’ve ever been
No cause ive been saying that since the trailer dropped, the mimic looks so similar to the funtimes and has the vertical split too fbdbd i feel like it could be the costume we are shoved into by baby in fnaf sl
@@RyeToast exactly, i loved the connection you made to that btw, it makes so much sense too, they are all so smooth visually, and the og fnaf animatronics look way more fuzzy? Like those old couches you know? Btw have a lovely day, Rye🩷🫶🏻
Would that confirm Willy built Mimic? Also,Mike 100% got springlocked in that suit. No way he was in there for 18 hours without getting springlocked. That would also be why Baby knew for a fact he wouldn't die.
@@WilliamAaronTheYapmaster to be honest im not sure abour William building the mimic, it may be trye but we dont know if he actually built those robots (it depends on which theory you sibscribe to) And for Mike, i actually think he wasnt in there for the whole time? What i'd call Edging was that Box Mistery in FNaF 4, 8 Years and all we get is "I forgor" 💀 (Okay, he obviously didn't forget what's inside the box, but yeah, y'all get it)
The assumption is something that would have confirmed Dream Theory was in the box, but because 90% of the fanbase despised Dream Theory, Scott did a 180 and sent the plot in a different direction while he still had the chance (at the cost of leaving the box unopened and unexplained)
@ShadowEclipse777 Yeah, but why would Dream Theory be confirmed if Scott had already "plans" or "ideas" for a fifth game. Like he mentioned that there were ideas for a Fifth FNaF Game before the 4th. Obviously, I'm not Scott Cawthon (or am I? *VSauce Music starts playing*), so I can't say that he would have done SL even if we would have had no problems with solving the 4th Game yet it is weird if he would confirm Dream Theory with the FNaF 4 box, just to debunk it in Sister Location. If I'm not wrong, he stated that in the first Dawko Interview where he said that he had the idea of an Fifth Game before the Fourth Game.
I've NEVER been edged and then baited harder then there being a box playing the Puppet music only for it to be a fucking Mimic game, I thought my goat was coming back, I'm still incredibly hyped though
Speaking of Steel Wool's movie references, the "new nightmare" phrase used in the tag line is totally a reference to Wes Cranven's New Nightmare. it's one of the sequels to Nightmare on Elm Street but super meta -- the movie is about the actress from the first film preparing to make a new movie about Freddy Krueger but he starts haunting her irl and puts her son in danger. The script of the movie itself end up being a plot point, that's how meta it is. The whole concept is reminiscent of the beginning of Help Wanted, so if it is a reference it's a neat one, maybe could have something to do with the plot of this game?
The idea of Fredbear’s having three characters, one being the Mimic, isn’t a bad one. I like it a lot. I do think it should be more like four original characters, with the Puppet’s FNAF 6 minigame implying it’s been around for a long, long time. But this video is about the Mimic, not the Puppet. Edit. I just remembered that we never did get an explanation for where Ennard’s mask came from, as it’s only seen in the primary control module. There aren’t any posters that advertise a character with it. And the jester mask we see in the box in the trailer looks so much like it! If you’re correct that the Mimic was originally meant to be a character at Circus Baby’s…. On a related, creepy note, if Gregbot’s theory’s been busted, then why was Vanessa buying lifelike rubber masks and what were those animatronic heads in the CBEAR control module for?
not gonna lie, the one thing that is getting me from the teaser is the usage of My Grandfather's Clock. out of every single song in the world, they specifically chose the one that, in the context of FNAF, is so closely connected to the Puppet. it was used in the movie credits to tease the Puppet, even!! it feels like a very deliberate choice, and I can't help but think that these two characters are very closely connected somehow. moreso, that using Grandfather's Clock in the teaser for the Mimic game, that is going all the way back to the origins of Fazbear Entertainment, connects the Mimic to Henry in specific. I personally don't think Tales is in the same continuity as the games, and I'll continue to believe that Edwin is the books' stand-in for Henry until and if Secret of the Mimic proves me wrong. You can draw parallels there -- Edwin is a brilliant engineer who has been into robotics since young, who worked for Fazbear Entertainment in the 70s by making animatronics out of the costumes they gave him (and The Mimic story references he was working on a yellow chick, a pirate fox and a blue bunny. The original crew, animatronics we know were made by Henry in the games); who made a robot to watch over his young child while he worked, a child that died tragically. It SOUNDS familiar. but the one thing that caught my attention? it's how the Mimic1 program in Tales assumes the form of a tiger, in reference to David'd favorite plush when he was alive. it makes me think of all those weird Nightmarionne plushies that are EVERYWHERE in the Pizzaplex in Security Breach for no apparent reason, all the Staffbots that look like Nightmarionne, even that random post-it room that has several of their heads piled up in the corners. if the Mimic in the games was created by Henry, and Tales just establishes a parallel, well, wouldn't it make sense for it to be connected to the Puppet in that way, considering who it was made for?
I personally think Afton made mimic. i even think that Psychic Friend Fredbear has mimic1 and was specifically designed to copy Afton's speech patterns to talk to his kid
Dude, you've got a point, in security breach there were all those black and white striped cords throughout the pizzaplex as well, this made me think of roots of a tree and nightmarionne, I think it could be likely that the mimic1 program assumed a form that has something to do with the puppet.
@@WilliamAaronTheYapmaster Agreed but also not. I think that, based on the Mimic's design, his endoskeleton was built by Henry. It looks a lot more reminiscent of the types of endoskeletons that Henry would make, boxy, mechanical, arguably rudimentary as opposed to Afton's animatronics which have a design scheme more focused on pipes/wires/whatever spaghetti-mess is the Funtime's endoskeletons, highly articulated parts and strange/over the top add-ons ("She can sing, she can dance, she can inflate balloons with her fingertips..."). I could see this down two paths, A) Henry made the AI and William tainted it. B) William made the AI intentionally evil. Both are plausible, especially in the context of the Caeser quote, which I believe references both Henry, William and the Mimic collectively -- where something was created innocently from the mind of Henry, the Mimic, and was corrupted by William, ie. Henry's speech at the end of Pizzeria Simulator. EDIT 1: Just thought of this after I posted, the quote is also referring to the Puppet. Nightmarionne first debuted in FNAF4, where, regardless of what you believe was going on--the animatronic is clearly a nightmarish, corrupt version of the Puppet--that was more or less made/created/conjured/what have you, by William. So once again, a thing that was once pure--arguably 'created' by Henry (either the animatronic or Charlie, or even both) that was corrupted by William (either the animatronic literally or Charlie's death). I find it also prudent to ask, why did we need to keep the Security Puppet asleep in the first place? It's very strange when you begin to think about it. Why is MUSIC the thing that calms it? It's assumed that the Mimic is drawn to sound based on the post-it-note room in Security Breach, so possible connection there? EDIT 2: Been thinking about Balloon Boy's role in all this and the more I think the more I realise how weird he is too. He was the first character to have 'voice lines' -- the, "Hi!", "Hello!" and "Haha!" -- and those same voice lines were re-used AGAIN for FNAF3 as an audio lure for Springtrap. This has always nagged at me, why use this as an audio lure? Like in what world would someone be drawn to it? But perhaps the implication is that Balloon Boy is mimicking a child's voice and therefore William is drawn to it? He also is the only animatronic up until this point to actually look plausibly human from a good distance, like Baby and the Puppet don't come close. I would argue that maybe Balloon Boy was a Funtime because he too would lure kids, like he lures Afton ironically -- but originally was just made to give out balloons, until Afton changed his code to like lure kids for him?
@@GabriellaLegge It’s design is like Henry’s,sure, but it’s powers are much more like the Funtimes. Voice mimic? They’ve got it. The ability to contort into weird shapes to fit any suit? Literally what Funtime endos are designed for. Plus, the MXES machine is purple in the AR world and has rabbits as it’s theming. We also see mimic right next to the sister location bunker and,in one ending,it may very well use Cassie as a human skinsuit, meaning it’s mimicking Ennard meaning it must have witnessed Sister Location. If it was in the Sister Location building then it was likely built by Afton. If I had to guess,it’s probably a prototype for what eventually are the Funtimes. That’s why it looks more normal
I really disagree. In the books, while you might believe they're a different continuity, it is explained that the pizzaplex changed structures very often, but it's made VERY clear that everything that has happened in the games since FNAF 1, has also happened in the books. That's why parallels can't be true, as much as you don't think the books are canon.
I thought the quote referred specifcally to Edwin. He made animatronics for the joy of kids and the mimic was made to play with his son. But because of his anger and grief, he created a monster that outlived him and any good deed
The Julius Caesar quote is very Henry and William coded. I agree that it’s just referencing the mimics whole deal, that the good intentions it was made with has been forgotten. But it’s also really interesting to think about the betrayal angle with William and Henry. (Side note I always love when you use pumpkin hill in your videos)
9:19 you know with this proposed mask shape, this actually reminds me of the shape of ennard's mask (which if the mimic is tied to sister location would make sense).
i personally, myself want to see a Young Michael Afton as the protagonist for this new game. It will a excellent opportunity to flesh out his character with new voice lines
something i think a lot of people forgot about is the Circus line of funko pop fnaf merch which basically confirms chica, bonnie two foxy's, and two freddies. so we may have the general designs of the circus animatronic cast if their designs haven't changed from the merch drop
Am I the only one that thinks the name should be Secrets of The Mimic, not Secret of the Mimic. Because it makes it sound like the Mimic has 1 secret, not more than 1? Still, I’m excited to see what the game has to offer, and I hope it’ll properly clarify things, so that even people who don’t read the books, will understand what and who The Mimic is. 🙏🤔😀👍
But that very well could be intentional. The secret's of The Mimic suggest that it's The Mimic's secrets being shown. But what if truly The Mimic IS the Secret being shown? Then there is only one secret, The Mimic itself. Would explain why it's hid in a box... Would honestly explain why fazbear entertainment is so insistent on not only showing but then making light of all these tragedies that took place, even ones that wouldn't have been common knowledge like the funtimes and pizza sim. Perhaps it's to bury specifically one detail in the far far past that they want *no one* looking into. I believe that is The Mimic, and whatever it did.
That’s a good point. I am excited to see the first official trailer to this game. While yes, this was a trailer, it’s more of a teaser trailer. I’m referring to glameplay, and where it’ll take place. 🤔😀👍
Not sure if someone mentioned this already, but that could also answer the question of the unknown spring-lock suit from Sister Located that Mike is shoved into.
The paper pals wasn’t even a first thought. It would be insane how Fazbear Entertainment has created games to make light of the “events” but then to COMPLETELY disregard an ENTIRE animatronic?!? There’s a lot more we’re going to learn and I can’t wait to see what Steel Wool Studios is cooking!
i've rewatched this video a good 5 times because i like to have it playing in the background, but every single time i click back i always come back to 5:07 exactly, no matter what
If the clown was really scrubbed from the history They could have maybe replace him with the Puppet Especially cause both are in a box And it's playing the puppets song
It’s crazy how all this lore started from a game about a serial killer murdering 6 children in his own restaurant and the children possessing the fazbear’s animatronics 10 years ago 🤯
Another thing i think could help add on to this theory is the easter egg in the help wanted Halloween update (which seemingly takes place at fallfest) where, after throwing darts at the three clown posters it reveals the "it's me" message. This has always felt pretty odd to me so I'm almost wondering (if the og games were made in part to hide this clown animatronic from the public eye) the messages appearing are actually the mimic program trying to reach out to a developer or the person playing the game. This is based on a lot of assumptions I know, but narratively I think it could be quite interesting!
Hear me out, I got a theory why william is so evil, and its not because he is a sociopath. My theory is that he wasn't always so insane, but became like that from testing with agony and renament it started to affect him. First off lets look at mid night motoriest, yall know how william was orange, I think that represents pre agony. Evidence for this is in the mini game when william sees the person in the chair, who I think is cc, he thinks " He had a hard day. I should leave him alone" this doesn't sound like a sociopath. Now I think with all of williams other appearances as purple guy and his other forms is him with agony. The split difference between the two is shown in the fazbear frights book, Bunny Call, which has the represents the aftons with the mom, Dad ( Bob), the eldiest son, the middle son, and the youngest being a daughter with pony tails. The important part is Bob doesn't really care for his family until he thinks they are threatened by a 6 foot 5 rabbit. ( spoilers ) Bob punches the rabbit were a liquid comes out and it is theorized that this liquid was agony. At the end of the book it was said that the guy that was supposed to be in the suit overselpt, meaning it might have just in his head. This is important as it shows the representative of william fighting the agony. This theory also shows why into the pit is so important. Pit trap the main antagonist is a being of pure agony which is in a yellow suit but at the same time is not William afton, a bit on the nose isn't it? This even gives a reason why in the world yonder anime toy chick is a thing, representing william getting worse and worse. Now let me say this does not make william a " good person" and still remains the main antagonist as even with out agony he killed charlie, from being drunk and jealous from Henry. William most likely with this theory thinking he was smarter then he was messing with agony made william into a complete inhuman monster know of modern fnaf.
I honestly think Henry and William are the same guy, but separated into two different people. Usually with the former being the good chunk and the latter being the agony chunk. Like the puppet and nightmare (who is evil). People assume that the games have William be evil and Henry be good, but foxy go go go has shown us a completely suitless killer, and spring Bonnie was actually completely unwearable (fnaf 3 phone calls) when it was in a kill happy rampage in fnaf2, only for it to be ironically stopped by William (as implied in “Fun with Plushtrap”). Fnaf world shown us that the creator of baby regrets making her in the first place. And he was also responsible for creating the Fazbear games. Which lines up with the man that inspired William Afton’s character, Nolan Bushnell. The founder of chuck-e-cheese and Atari.
One reason I make this assumption is simply because Vanessa and William in the fnaf movie reminds me a lot more about Charlie and Henry in the original trilogy. In which Henry lost his love for Charlie for her being a mere replica of his dead daughter. And I get those kinds of vibes from how William treats her in the movie. That I will not be surprised if the puppet turns out to be his daughter.
Mimic being the operator of a jester spring lock suit for a 3rd character for Fred bears is a pretty cool theory. In fact I am willing to go as far as to say that the jester was the og version of the puppet.
I feel like.. the original Mimic has met the living William Afton before... and had a piece of William's Code placed in them. William's past Evil's placed inside The Mimic. Which is why Glitchtrap exists, and Digital Entities like VIP are so "William Afton- Esque". It is another way for him to "keep living'.
I think William put a piece of his Code in the Mimic, and that is why the Digital Copies of the Mimic have William Afton Character Traits. His Evil to Copy.
We actually can see Oswald hang it up at some point the first 2 or three nights. I don’t know what that means lore wise, but at least we know he was the one who put it there
13:00 Tbh, I could legitimately see this as hinting that Balloon Boy might originate from the same place as the mimic too. After all, he never really fit in with the other toy animatronics, and we don't really have any sense of "history" for him. At least the toy animatronics were made in direct response to the older ones looking creepy and messy, and the requirement for better security features, but Balloon Boy has always been so obscure and unrelated to the rest of the cast.
So like, if it’s the year 1979, does that mean we will only have two afton children? Cause like, the dual process theory has made me believe in Elizabeth being the youngest afton, because of her having the ‘toddler’ toys (mangle toy) Of course we don’t know their ages, but I’ve always assumed CC is like 4-5 maybe 6 on his birthday. But let’s say he’s five when the bite happens Counting the year 1983, he would have been born in 79, and if Elizabeth is younger she wouldn’t have been born yet, which would also mean Mrs Afton would still be in the picture. Interesting thought that might have lore relevance, might not
Another point that I don’t see much people mentioning is the trailer is in 4:3, im not sure if this is just for the trailer or will affect the game, it’s a neat detail connecting the game to the late 70’s
I'm glad you pointed out back to the spring lock suit back in Sister location it would line up PERFECTLY beside the tiny details here and there and would clear up lose ends pretty well. The moment I saw the teaser I was just like that might be the suit that we could "Barley fit in" in the springlock scene
i am literally praying for the game to dive more into fredbears diner like the way the building looked inside and out and just a better look at how spring bonnie and golden freddy looked, and the addition of the clown being apart of it all along is so interesting and cool to me.
Your note at 13:57 is probably on point here. The fact that there was a Jester themed spring lock suit in the books about the Mimic and the face plates we see in the trailer look to match how the Sister Location suit opened is reason enough to believe the Mimic is wearing the same suit here. Or, the Mimic itself IS the spring lock suit. Thinking about it, William and Henry likely wore the Spring Bonnie and Fredbear spring locks themselves while the Mimic piloted itself in their Spring Fest proformance's together. Having the Mimic1 program be part of all three, they could teach the suits programs the performance of each character manually. Then, when the suit is in animatronic mode, they let the program run the manually programmed actions. This meaning, the programable animatronic in the Spring Bonnie suit could have learned how to be a manipulative and devious killer from William wearing the suit. Back then, there was probably only enough computational power to run two to four programmed animatronic stage performances or a single more autonomous animatronic program. The repairs William did after era of Springtrap that made Scraptrap likely taught it how to repair itself as well. As theorised, the Mimic Burntrap had done with it's right arm after it lost it to the vent collapse. Explaining the mismatch of Endo parts between Burntrap and the Mimic. The right arm is a three dull finger endo right hand, while it retains the four sharper fingers of Burntrap's left hand. The Endo of Spring Bonnie being repaired by William, specifically removing the automation system that forced Springtrap to move toward the sound of children, was likely when the Mimic program lost all of it's limitations. Allowing it to evolve and develop more of a will of its own. After Henry's fire, William was stripped from the Spring Bonnie endo entirely. It lay dorment, probably inhibited by Henry using the M.X.E.S. Covered by both the fire and thin foundations for the new Pizza Plex. The parent company found one of the three original spring lock suits, probably the Jester one at the sister lockation, and learned how to produce similar Mimicry learning animatronics & programs from it to make the Glamrocks and Staff Bots. Replacing almost all of the Pizza Plex staff with animatronics taught how to do each job by their best employees and mass producing them is pretty on brand for them. The Mimic we see in the Security Breach and Ruin games is likely Spring Bonnies at is base, some Fredbear from when William repaired it and a good chunk of the Jester to fix or replace what was damaged in Henry's fire. Basically, it's probably a twisted mix of all three in one. Given the stiched together nature of the multiple costumes in one it wears in one of Ruins endings, the combination of parts has probably given it a bit of an identity crisis haha.
I actually think that the suit that the Mimic is wearing is a prototype suit of the puppet (more like the versios of Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica with big fur and face plates, or maybe a springlock suit), because it's in a music box, the music box theme from FNAF 2 is playing, and if you look on the top of his head it has a black head, plus the puppet was with Fredbear and SpringBonnie for a long time. 🐻🐰🐥🦊 🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟪⬛⬜🟪⬛⬜ 🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪 🟪⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟪🟪⬛⬛⬛🟪
I'd imagine that Secret of the Mimic would be addressing and explaining what the mimic actually is for those who haven't read the books. Gameplay-wise im hoping there's two parts of it; playing as several different people, and playing as the mimic. It would be cool to see more of what the mimic actually sees, and it would likely show the ending of ruin from the mimic's point of view, showing the canon ending. Sort of like Aliens vs Predator, only it's two instead of three and there's no multiplayer.
I really think the puppet is an early version of the mimic. We have stories of parents leaving a robot to take care of their kid and them dying, which is what we see from Henry with the puppet. It's even a direct parallel to Edwin's situation. It would make sense why nightmarionne has been so prominent- a rogue version of the robot that Charlie inhabits
I gotta say, lowkey, props to Edwin for being able to beat and borderline destroy an endoskeleton. Imagine how fucking yolked you have to be to break metal with your bare fucking hands.
Is the pile of corpses and museum-worthy animatronics the mimic made in the sinkhole at all related to The Blob (a pile of agony and fully-intact animatronics)?
I just realized. As i was playing through for nostalgia purposes the games. There's been drawings of clowns and I never understood the reference until now. I do agree and think that it is indeed the mimic.
Hey Rye, I had a thought when you said Fall Fest could've been where they tested out new characters. The "wound first inflicted on me" in Henry's FNAF 6 speech has called into question what the first wound could've been if not Charlie's death, what if the missing children incidents or even William's first murder could go back even further to fall fest if we allow ourselves to believe that the sister location animatronics were built earlier than we thought. Henry would've been really blindsided to find out his business partner was a child killer and maybe wouldn't even allow himself to believe it, hereby letting William continue the killing spree for a long time until the final straw is Charlie's death, one of the steel wool guys even posted a quote from Julius Caesar in reference to the new game coming out.
i was literally in the middle of editing a theory for a new channel i wanted to make, where i said i think the clown mask is the springlock suit lmao. My theory is still a lil different so i will continue with it, but im happy other people agree to an extent
I feel like if the Tales from the Pizzaplex stories aren't canon, the Puppet imagery could indicate that Edwin=Henry. Not that the Mimic IS the Puppet, but that those core traits were made in two animatronics by the same person.
I've been seeing a lot of people talk about how we might get to see William or any human character before they died! That would be so cool, and I'm absolutely hyped for this.
I just had a thought while listening to this. The Mimic was programmed to do the job with the endoskeletons but turned to humans when it ran out of endoskeletons cause it can't tell the difference. That sounds oddly familiar to what we're told in FNAF 1 about how the animatronics will attempt to stuff you in the suits cause it thinks you're an endoskeleton... hm also don't get me started on how Into The Pit potentially suggests the core 4 cast from FNAF 1 are Springlocks.
oh man, is balloon boy just based off of a very old clown animatronic that hasn't been seen until now? that would explain why he's such an important character without actually being given any detail
One thing I don't see people mentioning about Ruin is that when the mimic puts on the stitched together suit I think it's trying to look human. The suit it put together had a blue shirt, brown shorts, a wrist band on it's left arm, brown hair, and the face of the costume had been torn and smushed down to be more flat like a human. In fact if you really think about it it seems to be trying to look like Gregory which makes sense since it's already copying Gregorys voice.
"Corporate edging" is a statement i will never forget lmao

It would be funny if we played as the mimic, disassociating his kills believing himself to be William(or anyone really).
I'm 100% sure we'll be playing as Cassie's dad. There's still 3 other candidates for me tho:
1. the crying child
2. Chica bully
3. Edwin
The crying child is a good option because we haven't seen much of him in a long time, and steel wool has teased him having some sort of importance on Twitter a couple of times.
It is genuinely insane to me that you and many others have been able to make videos that are longer than 10 minutes on the 30 second mimic I’m excited for the game but there’s just so little info we got it’s impressive to me
Well luckily the teaser is PACKED
Agreed.
@@loganentertainment1814you're everywhere

This goofy endoskeleton singlehandedly made me care about fnaf again after security breach, and now I’m more invested in the series than I’ve ever been
Agreed !
Which is cool, because Scott has confirmed burntrap was only meant to be an Easter egg and Steel Wool inadvertently made it a thing
Another cool premise that FNAF overcomplicates for no reason other than to stay relevant. What else is new.
Hard disagree. The Mimic is a really cool concept but it's execution is rubbish. I will die on the hill of Glitchtrap being Crying Child.

Am I wrong?

why do the paperpals have a mimic move in fnaf world

No cause ive been saying that since the trailer dropped, the mimic looks so similar to the funtimes and has the vertical split too fbdbd i feel like it could be the costume we are shoved into by baby in fnaf sl
Especially since like the puppet and balloon boy might have been planned to be funtimes 🤫

That was my first thought upon seeing the teaser
Would that confirm Willy built Mimic? Also,Mike 100% got springlocked in that suit. No way he was in there for 18 hours without getting springlocked. That would also be why Baby knew for a fact he wouldn't die.
@@WilliamAaronTheYapmaster to be honest im not sure abour William building the mimic, it may be trye but we dont know if he actually built those robots (it depends on which theory you sibscribe to)
And for Mike, i actually think he wasnt in there for the whole time? Plus if Baby wanted him to be alive for it all, minireenas could have been winding up the spring locks? Idk xD
What i'd call Edging was that Box Mistery in FNaF 4, 8 Years and all we get is "I forgor" 💀
(Okay, he obviously didn't forget what's inside the box, but yeah, y'all get it)
In fact, Scott's Alzheimer's is in the FNAF4 box lol
@@TengryEmily1982 999 missed calls from Scott Cawthon
@@Cake2019_6he never said he was planning on making SL when making fnaf 4, he stated on 3 different occasions that fnaf 4 was gonna be the end
Theory time: The mimic smacking bro into the wall was him mimicing a police officer breaking down the door, likely for a domestic dispute.
or perhaps part of how it was rendered inoperable the first time i can see the creator yeeting his kid copying robot into a wall like that
Or that’s what squad A did, breaking down doors and being a bit more violent
I wouldn't say it's been busted. Just down to what evidence you think is worth considering
not gonna lie, the one thing that is getting me from the teaser is the usage of My Grandfather's Clock. out of every single song in the world, they specifically chose the one that, in the context of FNAF, is so closely connected to the Puppet. it was used in the movie credits to tease the Puppet, even!!
it feels like a very deliberate choice, and I can't help but think that these two characters are very closely connected somehow. moreso, that using Grandfather's Clock in the teaser for the Mimic game, that is going all the way back to the origins of Fazbear Entertainment, connects the Mimic to Henry in specific.
I could see this down two paths,
A) Henry made the AI and William tainted it.

Corporate edging is a crazy statement
A true one tho
The carpet design looks like the wrapping paper on the gift boxes in ruin basement (2:24 it’s on a background clip)
Not that that matters but it’s cool
9:19 you know with this proposed mask shape, this actually reminds me of the shape of ennard's mask (which if the mimic is tied to sister location would make sense).
i personally, myself want to see a Young Michael Afton as the protagonist for this new game.
It will a excellent opportunity to flesh out his character with new voice lines
1:13 Love how they use the cover for book 2 now since Into the Pit is a game.
Also "Corporate Edging" lol.
something i think a lot of people forgot about is the Circus line of funko pop fnaf merch which basically confirms chica, bonnie two foxy's, and two freddies. so we may have the general designs of the circus animatronic cast if their designs haven't changed from the merch drop

2- +4 cartoonish villain vibes

Im surprised that noone else is talking about the cute little kitty
The paper pals wasn’t even a first thought. It would be insane how Fazbear Entertainment has created games to make light of the “events” but then to COMPLETELY disregard an ENTIRE animatronic?!? There’s a lot more we’re going to learn and I can’t wait to see what Steel Wool Studios is cooking!

13:24 imagine scott has actually been planning this all along
Scott leaving weird stuff in older games so that he can use it later to make a whole story about it later on is a typical Scott Thing to make
i've rewatched this video a good 5 times because i like to have it playing in the background, but every single time i click back i always come back to 5:07 exactly, no matter what
That paper pal detail is actually fucking insane
The paperpals theory is actually pretty good. We'll have to wait and see but I am gonna headcanon it until proven otherwise.
If the clown was really scrubbed from the history
They could have maybe replace him with the Puppet
Especially cause both are in a box
And it's playing the puppets song

13:59 THANK YOU 😭 they told me I was crazy
(not really but ppl were v quick to dismiss)
( spoilers )
Bob punches the rabbit were a liquid comes out and it is theorized that this liquid was agony.
Corporate WHAT?
I'M NOT WRONG
That could also explain where enard’s mask came from
I feel like.. the original Mimic has met the living William Afton before... and had a piece of William's Code placed in them. William's past Evil's placed inside The Mimic. Which is why Glitchtrap exists, and Digital Entities like VIP are so "William Afton- Esque". It is another way for him to "keep living'.
11:28 i feel like the quote was more directed to William Afton
His good deeds in the beginning of the company were forgotten by the acts he did
and that the betrayal might be his betrayal of Henry 😮
I think William put a piece of his Code in the Mimic, and that is why the Digital Copies of the Mimic have William Afton Character Traits. His Evil to Copy.

I bet if the carpet is a Shining reference the “a New nightmare” is probably another reference! Likely A Nightmare On Elm Street!!!
12:32 wait… if there are only 3 paper pals usually, what the heck is the 4th one that just appears during into the pit???
We actually can see Oswald hang it up at some point the first 2 or three nights. I don’t know what that means lore wise, but at least we know he was the one who put it there
13:58 “his springlock suit was never used”
Springlock suit from nights 4?
The Mimic? Nah mate. That’s Funky Tom
Just putting it out there, in FNAF World, the paperpals have a mimic ball ability
You see how Rye sets a cute plushie on their lap? Very mindful, very demure
12:50 I have always been curious about the paper pals, but never felt the need to put much thought into it
I’m so jazzed about these ideas. I guess this is what the community needed? It’s a good start moving forward.
So like, if it’s the year 1979, does that mean we will only have two afton children? Cause like, the dual process theory has made me believe in Elizabeth being the youngest afton, because of her having the ‘toddler’ toys (mangle toy)
Of course we don’t know their ages, but I’ve always assumed CC is like 4-5 maybe 6 on his birthday. But let’s say he’s five when the bite happens
Counting the year 1983, he would have been born in 79, and if Elizabeth is younger she wouldn’t have been born yet, which would also mean Mrs Afton would still be in the picture. Interesting thought that might have lore relevance, might not
Edwin meeting such a cruel fate by corporate is so sad.
He’s probably haunting Glamrock Freddy.
Thanks Riley. Yes it was an awesome week. Can't wait to see you play this ❤
Another point that I don’t see much people mentioning is the trailer is in 4:3, im not sure if this is just for the trailer or will affect the game, it’s a neat detail connecting the game to the late 70’s
I'm glad you pointed out back to the spring lock suit back in Sister location it would line up PERFECTLY beside the tiny details here and there and would clear up lose ends pretty well. The moment I saw the teaser I was just like that might be the suit that we could "Barley fit in" in the springlock scene
ive seen the paper pal similarity before, but i didnt stop to think of the _other_ paper pals
great theory!!
"let's get over a brief explanation of the mimic" *proceeds to talk about it for 7 minutes straight*
Awesome video as usual!!!
i am literally praying for the game to dive more into fredbears diner like the way the building looked inside and out and just a better look at how spring bonnie and golden freddy looked, and the addition of the clown being apart of it all along is so interesting and cool to me.
Its cool that the game takes place before all the stuff that happened besides fredbears
i’m so excited for this game and new theories to come! hopefully we get some answers with this one!
I think mimic 1 isn't glitch trap since it's representing it self as an white tiger and mimic in the games he's represented with the color orange
This would also explain the springlock suit you get put in that Baby says was part of her pizzeria but never used
T H I S
Corporate edging 😂
I'm not wrong!
Seeing the end after game theory's video who's whole point is the mimic has been hidden in plain sight the entire time has been so interesting.
He could be the suit we are putt in when we are "kidnapped"
I actually think that the suit that the Mimic is wearing is a prototype suit of the puppet (more like the versios of Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica with big fur and face plates, or maybe a springlock suit), because it's in a music box, the music box theme from FNAF 2 is playing, and if you look on the top of his head it has a black head, plus the puppet was with Fredbear and SpringBonnie for a long time. 🐻🐰🐥🦊

The clown could’ve been the original puppet, not the literal animatronic, but the same mascot character.
Watching this is making me more excited for this game! Great stuff!
Is the pile of corpses and museum-worthy animatronics the mimic made in the sinkhole at all related to The Blob (a pile of agony and fully-intact animatronics)?
this is somehow related to "TJOC" 🤔
This is just a shoot at the air, but that mask plate looks alot like the one in Sister Location.
Im excited to see the OG fredbear

I feel like if the Tales from the Pizzaplex stories aren't canon, the Puppet imagery could indicate that Edwin=Henry. Not that the Mimic IS the Puppet, but that those core traits were made in two animatronics by the same person.
maybe we will we'll go from date to date, until the last fallfest, starting on the date of the trailer...
your thumbnails never miss!
The reason why it was hidden away because it caused the fall fest fire.
Can't wait for Secret of the Mimic to be released and we can have all these questions finally answered! Hopefully.
I've been seeing a lot of people talk about how we might get to see William or any human character before they died! That would be so cool, and I'm absolutely hyped for this.
There was a fourth paper pal in into the pit
PAPER PALS SOLVE FNAF????!!!?!?!?!??!?!!!???

The release after the Corporate Edging was so powerful that I acrually passed out from the excitement lmao

I just had a thought while listening to this.
The Mimic was programmed to do the job with the endoskeletons but turned to humans when it ran out of endoskeletons cause it can't tell the difference.
That sounds oddly familiar to what we're told in FNAF 1 about how the animatronics will attempt to stuff you in the suits cause it thinks you're an endoskeleton...
hm
also don't get me started on how Into The Pit potentially suggests the core 4 cast from FNAF 1 are Springlocks.
oh man, is balloon boy just based off of a very old clown animatronic that hasn't been seen until now? that would explain why he's such an important character without actually being given any detail
