Kris, I have a question if I sent in my Caroline and 49 dolls to the doll hospital would I get the new 2022 heads? Bc I'm really scared to get those heads! So do I ask to please give me the old heads?
When I have sent my dolls into the AG doll hospital I give explicit directions what to do what not to do and if they have any question to please contact me prior to doing anything.
I customize and fix dolls and what I’ve noticed is that they used to use metal clips on the inside to keep the limbs tight but now they just tie the elastic cord in a knot and that actually can be very easily messed up so even if it’s a new body the limbs can be loose too. It’s unfortunate but I just tighten mine up like normal at home because it’s fairly easy.
@@kathyanderson8299 maybe it was just the store near me but it sold dolls with clamps until like 2014, then again I’m in Kansas and things tend to take a while to be put into place here.

That is honestly part of the reason why I prefer fixing my dolls myself rather than sending them to the doll hospital. I am also curious: do you typically have more good experiences or bad ones with the doll hospital?
They look stunning. Sawyer is stunning. Sorry about Candy legs but Candy looks lovely., they are almost as loose as my early PC Kirsten which is understandable, you really should call them.
Hi mom found Bitty Twins dolls at our local good will for just $7 one of them has a chewed up finger and I looked online at the doll hospital and im holding off until way after Christmas tp send the doll in to get fixed because the cost their is outrageous and I'm still doing really on which bitty baby is a boy And.which the girl then seeing how old they are cause they have the shorter hair a little bit has been cut on both the dolls they have American Girl stamped on The back of their neck and their in good condition just needs to be cleaned up alot I'm going to wait until the new year to work on the dolls right now im just doing research on the Bitty Twin's.
This is making me want #78 soo bad! I know she is similar to one of last year's winter princesses, so I'm trying to decide between the two.. Sorry about the limbs, that is so frustrating!:((

I think they appreciate you calling them to task. Get those limbs fixed. Collectors like me are the ones they don't listen to. They'll listen to you!
