Razor sharp chain . Take that file combo and leave it on the shelf !! Ok, Put a file guide on your file , this will sharpen the tooth , now, remove the guide and thus will sharpen the gullet under the tooth . U will be amazed how fast your saw will cut and how long the chain stays sharp .
Odd how this video has errors. Marking a tooth that is shorter is not needed. Just mark a tooth so you have a reference where you started. Also you keep your body position static so you move the chain not your body. Alignment of the file is with the end pressed against the bar, also dragging the file backwards will not help. When the 2 in 1 came out the German video was correct. This one is not.
Nope. The teeth are supposed to be identical size, you need to file down all of them to the size of the smallest for best performance. (Since you can't grow them.)
Perfect, thanks.
Where can I get the hexa chain on the east coast of the United States on Long Island New York?
Any stihl dealer can order it for you.

@@avada0 i talk about the movement of the file. You can't do back and forth movements with a file.
@@moog38yearsagoupdated1mont9 Well, the OP talked about finding the smallest cutting tooth not mattering.
@@avada0 he also said running the file backward.
