Steve is correct about the Wasserstein charging hub, it does not charge the batteries fully, and this is from actual usage. The most you'll get will be to 80% charge. I ended buying the Arlo charging hub for my Ultra batteries and they charge them to 100%. You're better off spending the extra money for the official Arlo product. I wish Steve made this video prior to me buying the Wasserstein charger. As always, great review Steve. Cheers!!
Very nice video. I think you did a good job explaining the options. The one feature that I did want confirmation of was the charging cable. Essentially, if we were to leave the charging cable attached all the time, or for that matter the solar panels (of course assuming adequate sunlight), one would never have to worry about the battery going to zero. It would always be on a charge and therefore never die out regardless of usage? Just confirming that is the case before I opt for either of those options. Thanks.
Yes that it correct. My solar panels just keep my batteries topped off all the time. It would be the same with the power cable too. In fact, if you have the power cable connected to get extra features like 3 second look back and activity zones. However, activity zones does require a subscription too.

It is $49.99 for one and I'm wondering if it's worth it and is it really secure. There is only one image on their site and not a great description other than it's supposed to be the most secure. I currently have the Wasserstein fitted security device with the cable but the package only came with 2 magnetic mounts and 2 of the small mounts.

@stevedoes I’m really looking at the pro 3 to add to my ultra but I’m hesitant because of the audio that comes out the ultra is not good but was wondering if the pro 3 is louder? Could you do a video showing the siren and two way on the pro 3?
The audio coming out of the camera and the siren are the same between the Ultra and the Pro 3. In the settings you can adjust the volume of the speaker. Hope that helps.
I don’t think you can. Even if you got the solar panels that are for the Arlo Pro 2 and had the same connection as your eufy cam, I don’t think it would fit correctly. But I could be wrong. I haven’t tested it.
Steve apparantly the arlo ultra and arlo pro 3 work on the arlo pro 2 base station please can you make a video confirming this I'm asking as I would like to add an arlo ultra to my vmb4000 base station I like this base station because it has the siren built in so that if a burglar did come my neighbours would be alerted to their presence and they could not just knock the camera of the wall to stop the siren.
rust everywhere on those. also, those small chains and cables are not much of a deterrent. what about the new "arlo ultra and pro 3 total security mount"
