I also just had my first house that had a snack basket and a very kind sign. The drop involved a bit more work than most so it felt very rewarding. The little things mean a LOT ❤️❤️❤️
The yellow clip on the wall on your seat belt can be flipped up to stop the rewinding of your seat belt when you unhook it then you can just flip the clip end of belt on to the steering wheel and save a few seconds per stop by not having to reaxh and pull the belt down every stop.
Your now my 3rd FAVORITE DSP🎉😂😂😂You’ve gained a new follower. I love the fact that you didn’t use profanity and set goals to push yourself while delivering. I do the same. I do be cussing when I see dogs and weird notes (to myself) 180 stops YOUR the bomb and did A rescue 🛟. I do Atleast 3 rescues a week. I don’t mind it.
Thanks for another video, i am actually planning on taking a training class on CDV sometime this week! (If my DSP manager is able to enroll me in) With step vans and CDVs, do you just usually get the overflows out through the front too instead of using the backdoor? and i'm definitely not a fan of grouped stops, considering I have been getting heavier routes lately.
I’m thinking of going back to deliver for Amazon. I used to deliver in Los Angeles CA about 2 years ago. I now moved to Texas and I feel the routes will be much better delivering to residential areas and few businesses. I would always finish my route before 4pm considering I delivered in downtown Los Angeles area with heavy traffic and no where to park the prime van. I used the itinerary method on the rabbit and planned ahead my route that way I did have to drive the same street again if you know what I mean.
20-25 stops is almost impossible considering you have to pull up the gps, and take pictures. It may be possible but sounds pretty unreasonable imo. Also a tip since I only go out the passenger side of my truck with the door always open(express, not sure if Amazon wants doors closed all the time), I put the seatbelt around the steering wheel so when I get back in I don’t have to twist my arm all the time, and it’s faster to buckle up.
On my first and last day driving alone, I had all businesses and apartments and every drop off was literally within a 1 mile radius. I was driving on the same 3 roads the whole damn 9 hours I was out. I hated it. If I was assigned a route delivering to 90% houses, I’d be a lot less unhappy, and I might have actually stayed in the job
Awhh, kinda sad you didn’t continue! We don’t always get routs like that. Idk it might be like that at ur station but I’ve hardly ever gotten those types of routs, they change a lot
Hi Amy I work out the Charlotte,NC facility as a Amazon DSP driver. I will start training for the Step van driver soon. I heard it’s more money to drive the step van
Yeah you gotta be like me you can get a speaker for stepvan like I have a portable speaker that way I can listen to music and get you a battery bank to that way you can make it to your whole route that’s what I do
I liked the video. How long have you been doing this job? I did it for 3 years and it got pretty depressing because of the bad working time that take you 80% of the day.
i hate people who have long skinny dirt driveways in bumble fuck p.a. imagine the struggle to drive up and down with a step van, like why can’t they get parcel boxes and make it easy for everyone

Amy was such a positive JOY to watch. I had to subscribe. ❤
When I delivered for Amazon…on inclement weather days, I carried garbage bags (issued by the DSP), and placed the packages in the G’bags.
Wow! Never heared of that maybe we should do that

Front. But back if it's heavy overflow with a lot of packages. Example: 6 packs of those 40 lbs water cases.
Love your videos and your videos are exciting to watched!

@@amazingamyy I was wondering if I could get in contact with you to talk about how to get a job at Amazon
I liked the video. How long have you been doing this job? I did it for 3 years and it got pretty depressing because of the bad working time that take you 80% of the day.
And low pay 😆
Love you too ❤️❤️❤️
Oh Wow, You really are amazing.
hi I have my ride along tomorrow. I just wanted to ask do you get your dsp seating next to you for the ride along. please let me know how it work
I did but they also have good record drivers do the training it depends on your rep I guess 🤷🏽♀️ I have trained someone before
could you also do a video for size comparison between them cargo vans in thefuture, pls? thank you
OMG. The seatbelt thing would drive me nuts.
All of our OF pkgs say NOT IN BAG and the color icon is just grey'd out
Goodthing they gave you amazon rain coats jackets, in my dsp they gave us a freaking plastic coat that is super thin its like 0.25cents XD
They gave us trash bags 😆
👍👍
How come the smaller vans get more packages and stops then the step vans??? Dont make sense.
Where’s your jacket from!! It’s cute
Thank you! Forever 21 supper old lmao
Amazing Amy
What state are you in? I’m in Charlotte NC
Texas
May want to blur customer's name/addr on the packages
How many packages 📦 you deliver
Do you get paid for 10 hours if you finish early?
We used to! Then it changed to just the hours we work. So I would just take my time
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Amy your cute and pretty eyes
Pretty sure thats a liability putting those packages up front so they can get stolen in plain sight.
You look just like the American Indian version of my girlfriend … it’s strange lol. Good on you
