3D Printed Zero Clearance Block for Festool Kapex

  • I designed a 3D printed zero clearance block for Festool Kapex 120.
    Similar to the Colliflower Cube only you don’t have to replace your rear fence.
    Mine reuses the existing back two bolts for the throat plate.
    Requires 2 new longer M4 0.7mm 15mm long bolts (included)

    Great idea! Though. personally, I would have modeled it with a slot that is slightly more narrow than the saw blade, then used extra perimeters. I think it would create a lot of rigity and expand the life of the part.

      I thought of that but only the front face needs to be strong. Even at 20% infill the font face shouldn't be cut into again at the same angle. With no slots, you can cut any angle you want on either side.
