With this clear explanation i was able the first time to set up the AlTrack and it works. Thank you. I just have to find out how to adjust the distance to the cam without moving the PC screen away from me
@@AP_101 I have tried it now works very well but I got a problem when i start the game the camera doesn't move. I have followed all the steps you mentioned. But it was not working. So I go to the config file of the game in documents folder and changed the uset g_trackir to 1. Then it worked.
Nice. It is very useful for 15 and 17 inch laptops. On a PC... I don't know... It probably depends on the setup - no wheel or with wheel. You may run out of USBs at some point...

still too much for what it does, animaze / facerig dosnt even use that much and it tracks everything while animating your movement over to a 3d character. there is probably something else running in the background when installing this software
tried everything possible and i can't get this to work what so ever. so bought myself the Meta Quest 3 VR headset instead, i cba faffing around with running multiple programs just to have head tracking, plus playing ETS2 in VR is 1000000% better imo
As I can see when someone uses the head tracking option, I wonder if it's really that cool. In my opinion, not so much because when you turn your head you lose sight of the monitor. VR glasses seem to be a much better solution.
Well the proportions are different and can be adjusted. If I have to look back out from the window of the truck, I just need to look 45 degrees to my left. So I can still see the monitor :) You can even move your body to left/right to look at the opposite direction, so that you still have sight of monitor. VR would obviously be better but we are looking at a huge price difference here, $0 and yeah you know it.

Hey mate , its not working for me. I tried both apps. And followed the settings shown in the video.not working.mine is a low end pc Spec; Ryzen 3200u (vega 3) , 4gb ram . Is there any solution for this ? 🤔☹ And also checked cracked version but not working 😁😁😁
It doesn't work for me...I did everything you mention in the video. I see my head moving in the AI tracker and the pink squid moving in the other one, but it doesn't work in the game...
You didn't have to cover that IP when you showed the Droid Cam. It was a local IP, only available on the LAN. Nobody could DDoS you. BTW This video is the best video on the subject
Is the jitter while looking up/down or even left/right as well? If it's for left/right as well, try to stay in a bright area so the camera can pick up your face. Also adjust the mapping so that you don't need to look too much far from the camera :)

@@AP_101 i will try to improve lighting conditions and check and as for mapping i have copied exact as yours but in comparison to your experience yours is very fast and smooth when you turn head like it glides in my case its fast but it does not glide its gets choppy.
Please help! AITrack works fine... but OpenTrack shows 0 in raw tracker data and game data. Within the game (American Truck Simulator) the camera does not move. I have done everything but the problem persists. I'm using DroidCam to get the image and AITrack takes it correctly, but it seems the problem is in some OpenTrack configuration. On the other hand, my Firewall is controlled by the antivirus and I have disabled it for the occasion... and it doesn't work either.
I'm a newbie at this, trying to get it working with ats. But I can only get one to work at a time. Whichever one I start first, the other just gives me a black screen when I start it.

I recommend using a camera that have 720p/60fps or higher for smoother moving, and 3 monitors for best experience with head tracking

Cool this actualy works, havent started playing with it yet but made the setup, costs about 10% cpu on my 9900k but that is not to bad

well it's definetely works. i use cheap webcam. but somehow i felt nausea because of the movement.
If u turn off tracker and try using mouse, and it don't work, just unninstall opentrack.

Tried it and it works but am having to buy another webcam as the one I have is made for a telescope and has no focus to it

But it seems to have a memory leak over time. This is a known issue and the devs are working on it.

@@gangwartanmay what are your PC specs? Just for testing, decrease graphics to the LOWEST, to check if it is due to the PC specs or not.
@@gangwartanmay Also look at AITrack's preview and check if it is tracking your head properly or not. You have to stay in a bright place :)

Does not work if you are using the same camera to stream with in OBS or SLOBS, you have to disable the camera in SLOBS or OBS.
