Nice, but aren't those exhausts a bit close to your leg??
I have some similar, and they're not close enough to burn you, but you definitely feel the heat even when you're riding. It sucks more living in south Texas and being in 100 degree traffic with shotgun pipes.
It's worked out absolutely fine, as the chap above said, you feel heat but not a problem, no burning and natural riding position maintained
natural riding position? lol 1:53
hahahahaha
@@Frankies95 LMAO XDDDD
First 5 seconds of the video I hit the like button instantly!
Great Build!
Looked great to start with, superb afterwards!
SWEET RIDE,
GOD bless you guys! You make the sportster cool again!
Nice work
feel the heat on your feet 😂

Great exhaust! lovely!!!
¡Qué pasada de moto!
NICE, NICE, NICE.
I love that motorcycle
That’s beautiful right there!!
What a cool helmet 😎
It's very crafting-done-well-designed motorcycle ever thanks very much like it
Awesome bike but those leg warmers dont seem too comfy
Thing of Beauty!
Nice,,,,,when all is new and shiny. Tough lookn sporty.
Two words. Heat shields.
Good looking !
Arte Pura!!!
wow just wow!!
Crazy to think bikes this this are winning prizes when people rock 80s Jap bikes that look just like it, that they built by hand when in their garage for $3,000.
I've seen 1100cc inline 4 Screamers turned into hardtail bobbers. Seeing/hearing one fly-by at 10k rpm is nothing short of terrifying.
That's a nice HD though.
Pretty legit looking.
Apaixonada!
Goood Job... I like machine!! Roadstar 2017/18,. Makes one!!
Awseome build, where can I get those tyres... 🤟👌
os jaquetinhas piram!
LINDA MOTO.
Your helmet is classy
Nice what is the rear fender attached to now?
Dark nice 👊💪

What size tires did you end up going with, I'm wanting to throw some classics on my 2015 48. don't know what size to use.
See your owners manual.
The tires are Firestone Champion Deluxe?
La moto de mis sueños 😳
Waduh dengkule mlempuh.. tiap mau ride .sikile keneng knalpot.. wadaww...
I want that tires, are a Firestone champion Deluxe? Or i am wrong?
Fuckin rainy country, we better off with the jetski than a Harley.
I would not have put that circle in the rear exhaust, but rather I would have extended the rear cylinder exhaust toward the rear of the bike until it was equal in length to the front exhaust. Thus the back pressure would be equal as well. You can still do that, right? They say exhaust should be somewhere around 61" inches each for top speed (back pressure) helps top speed and maximum rpm, and maybe 45" in length for better low speed acceleration. Shorter exhaust pipes dump the exhaust faster and allows the motor to pick up rpm's at a faster rate for faster acceleration. Off course too short and the air can make it's way from the atmosphere trough the exhaust pipe exit opening and forward into the pipe and eventually into the cylinder itself causing burnt valves. So you do need a minimum of exhaust pipe length to avoid that. Also with too short of exhaust pipes the engine has not enough back pressure to hold the spent gasses in the cylinder long enough to provide torque from the expansion of the hot exhaust gasses. That is closely associated with valve timing, spark timing and cam timing as well.
You can sort of ameliorate the requirements for perfect exhaust lengths by using a reverse cone megaphone on the tip of the exhaust pipe exit which will send a sound wave causing back pressure so that shorter exhausts can still function well at maximum speeds. The best of both worlds. As the sound wave created back pressure will prevent the spend exhaust gasses from leaving the cylinder before it has produces maximum torque thus allowing for high top speed and very fast acceleration with the same set of exhaust pipes.
Just do a lot of research. You should purchase every book on motorcycles that you see, do that for many years. Read them and you will learn from the research, race track experiences that have come before you. I also purchased every motorcycle magazine I saw, even boxes of old magazines. The info is invaluable to anyone who wants to modify and or understand motorcycles and how they work and in races.
They used open pipes so I figured that is their preference. You can adjust the overall length of open pipes and that to a certain degree can be applied toward what kind of riding you will be doing. Example for top speed work 61", for track work with up and down cycles of acceleration 45" is good. 42" or 45" depending upon pipe diameter and cc's /volume of the cylinders and also expected top rpm's. You selected 42", well I'm 67 years old and I'm lucky to remember anything so if I wrote 45" when you say 42" is the accepted overall length I will say you are right, forgive an old man for screwing up by 3".
Anyway, because they prefer open pipes that's why I omitted information regarding delving deeply into "chamber's" and tuning of internal passageways of any attached "collector". However if you re-read what I wrote I did talk about 'reverse cone megaphones" that could make up for having a shorter exhaust pipe section. I was close enough for what they are going for (open system-no chambers, no baffles, not engineered megaphone). You just basically re-stated what I wrote and went into just a little more detail about your "collector" as regards to volume and "tuning". Still you left them clueless as you did not provide formulas and ratio's and underlying exhaust/air/flow principals. Which is fine as I doubt they would apply that info for this machine because it's already built. I figured they would not bother with any of that at this point and this machine. Again that is because they are currently using "open pipes". Maybe their next effort and that's why I bothered to make a few suggestions and provided the sound engineering principles so they can figure things out for themselves.
For this already built machine, can you envision them sitting down and designing a really fine tuned racing exhaust system? That function's well at all levels of back pressure? No. So my suggestion about equal exhaust pipes is a good enough start for them as well as a tip on long and short overall length and how it effects performance throughout the rpm range. Long pipes /steady high rpm, short pipes/fluctuating rpm with an eye on fast acceleration. Also I mentioned the reverse cone megaphone which is the first step in a chamber designed to send shock waves/pressure back to the exhaust port to create back pressure and hold the escaping exhaust inside the cylinder long enough to make better power. This is what I told them: "Also with too short of exhaust pipes the engine has not enough back pressure to hold the spent gasses in the cylinder long enough to provide torque from the expansion of the hot exhaust gasses". That is a great first lesson in understanding the principals behind power/performance exhaust systems. I then continued and wrote: "That is closely associated with valve timing, spark timing and cam timing as well". That is a good second lesson.
Sorry for the book but I have a severe headache and I am having problems organizing my thoughts. I like the 25 words or less approach but right now that is beyond me, hence I repeated and re-explained myself a couple of times. Just trying to help them. -Peter
BTW they certainly did make an effort to have equal back pressures because that's the function of the coiled rear cylinder pipe-to increase it's overall length, so that at least it's kinda close to the front exhaust pipe length. So they have some understanding but also wanted their own look. What you and I suggest has been done by most every modern racer since at least the 1960's. It's not a track bike so the performance is good enough. I would have wrapped that coil. Heat huts legs!
But it does have it's own look, sure looks fast and I bet it is.
Is the air cleaner custom?
Love uuuu😘😘😘😘harley😘
What's the name of the helmet. Iz it available in the market
Nice you made it look like a Yamaha bolt I guess if you can't beat them join them

Gonna finally ask this... So here it goes: Why do so many people in so many videos ask "What is this song" ??? - somewhat of a rhetorical question; however, ?!?!
What this is a back sound
What kind of helmet is that?!?!
I think is like the Bitwell GRINGO-S series or the Bone series from BELL ;)
Could be the Bell Bullit

Nice ride but too bad you have to keep your right leg out so far from the leg warmer!
I file this under the same thing as "building an AR15" now a days... yes I do it, because its cheaper but not because I think im a builder of any sorts
I preferred it before to be honest
